For me, it is a try to copy Givenchy Pi. Nothing more…

All-around fragrance. Suits young and old people, warm and cold days.

In my opinion this scent (with the vast majority of Boticario) is a copy of Xeryus Rouge, but does not have the same projection and the same fixation of Xeryus, but is very well done.

I believe this to be the best offering from O Boticário. The most elegant and well-balanced. It merges the Brazilian tradition of fresh/green woody fragrances with some heavier, sweeter accents, to an extent that I don’t find Portinari to be a good day scent (works better at night).
The notes piramid shown here is accurate. First citrus, then the wood/geranium combo, trademark of the classic scents from this house. Here, it’s always tending to the sweet side: amber and vanilla. Amber here is subtle, as it should be. Not a strong punch like in O Boticário’s Coffee Man or Zara’s Ambar.
For situational purposes, Portinari reminds me of Lancôme Miracle Homme and Givenchy pour Homme.

Pra mim essa colônia é mais puzada pra oriental fresca, ele é muito bom apesar de não fixar bem em minha pele e tem um cheirinho q lembra cravo e lavanda.
