I get a sample of Pois de Senteur from Caron boutique in Paris when I bought Farnesiana. When I entered the boutique I tried first Pois de Senteur but it was heavy and I could not detect any of its notes , that is why I prefer to buy Farnesian because it is calm powdery and I recognized both the Vanilla and Momosa notes . After 3 months I tried Senteur sample and I was amazed by woderful powdery dry down , so it will be in my To buy perfumes wishlist

White floral 20s heaven.
I remember this was behind me chasing “Caron’s” fragrances when i first sniffed it with another fragrances (i don’t remember it’s name) in Roja’s boutique in London Harrods Last Nov 2017, i remember i sprayed them both on plotter and couldn’t stop sniffing them up!
It’s more of a floral vintage blend with that 80s era animalic factor & Victorian era twist. It’s aristocratic yet, evil powdery blend with that red roses, jasmines, hyacinth, musk, sandalwood, and vanilla haze.
It’s powdery & reminds me of “Grossmith” fragrances, and most probably “Phul – Nana”.
It’s quite captivating and i might go for this one since “Phul Nana” by Grossmith is my favorite but disliked Phul’s drydown, let’s hope the drydown of “Pois de Senteur” isn’t like Phul.
Eventually, Caron’s “For him” labelled line is quite boring, overly used, and lack creativity (except for Yatagan), while the “For her” labelled line is rich of sensuality, creativity, and groundbreaking blends.

To me this is how pure parfum of the gone era should smell like… Love the base notes, as previous review states, it’s mellow and pure bliss of sandalwood as it should be – rich sensuous and warm. It lasts for ever!

I just got this perfume a week ago from Fortnum and mason in London.. it was the last 50 ML in the shop and was expensive because it’s pure perfume.. it was for 210 Pounds.. in the beginning it starts with strong flowery scent but ends up to a very luxurious powdery scent.. and it lasts for hours and hours.. almost I woke up the next day and I could still smell it on my skin.. it’s lovely.. .
