    – Down memory lane – ★★★★☆
When we are children, the world truly feels like a never-ending curious adventure. It can be scary and it can be sweet but the emotions we go through are genuine, raw and some of them stay with us until the last breath. That one warm summer day at the beach or that time you broke the rules and were shamed by your parents. With us, always, no matter where we go. The human memory is a tricky thing however – memories stay, but their quality changes. The ones we create as kids might be emotionally very loaded but as time passes, so do the nervous connections fade to gray until it’s nothing but letters on an old diary. All there is left to salvage is to narrate ourselves it was a good time turning our visions of past into shades of rose.
Scents are different. Unlike music or pictures, you can’t recall them and you can’t smell them in your head. That’s because they’re routed differently in the human brain – signals are fired only when a specific odor is encountered. This is the superpower I discovered with perfumes. They’re time-machines, bottled memories. Even the farthest ones, already blurry and gone, come back like an explosion with fully realized untouched emotions when that one specific odor is met. It’s minblowing to say the least.
Thus, a perfume can truly fly you back exactly to that ever-curious wonderland of purest emotions. For some it might be the Opium our mothers wore, or the Fahrenheit of that first crush. For me it’s Diesel Plus Plus Feminine – sex toys, hairspray, neon colors, latex, rave music and all things artificial. Gucci Rush has the same effect and I’m all for it. See this, is what happens when you grow up with MTV in the 90’s.
Anyway, great scent. Only if it lasted longer.

So basically it’s like semen? A sexual fetish, niche-fragrance…I like it. Milk or semen, pure or sexy, naughty or nice, it’s up to you, I like it.

Easily the most “niche-smelling” (you know) perfume in my wardrobe. It’s a weird one. The only occasion I ever wear it is clubbing, and I don’t mean the stilettos and bandage dress type, I mean techno events, free parties and the like. The types of places that value everyone getting in over following the fire safety regulations, where it’s dark, you’re packed like sardines, and it’s so hot and humid you can barely breathe. I have heard that the bottle is supposed to look like a bottle of milk (much like the box looks like a milk carton), but we don’t do those in my country, so I wouldn’t know. To me, it looks exactly like a bottle of pills, which just cements my impression above.
I see comparisons to Dali Laguna and Armani Lei in the reviews, both of which I enjoy, but neither of which spring to mind when I smell this. When you see milk, vanilla and coconut as the top-voted notes and “sweet” as the main characteristic, you could be fooled into thinking that this is some kind of gourmand. In my mind, it certainly isn’t. In my first review, I stated that Plus Plus Feminine smells like “sex toys, coconut oil, PVC and GHB”. I’m surprised that so many people find it fresh, clean, and innocent.
It’s an abstract composition, indeed very white, like sneakers getting warmed up from the friction of the dance floor. White and red, like a shiny latex nurse outfit. There is a faint note in it which reads like milk that’s -just- on the verge of souring to me, but I don’t find that repulsive, it just adds a bit of kink and complexity. I don’t even know what the million notes are about, to me it’s just milk, coconut, I guess vanilla, nutmeg and alien sex musk. Wild.

The opening is truly weird – watered down synthetic candied green cherry – one you can sometimes get with Martini Bianco. Soon (luckily) fresh, natural and non-sweet coconut milk note emerges and it remains for a long, long time – mixed with natural soya/vanilla drink. I just love it! I only wish it didn’t stay so close to skin, but the longevity is quite moderate – not as poor as it might seem. It may be quite a scent actually, only the bottle stinks just terribly – the rubber outer layer and the awfully smelling plastic cap… total disater! Therefore I’m seriously considering re-spraying it into another container.

I got this for Christmas! I love it, it’s not something I usually wear as I am into my sweet candy perfumes, but I actually think it’s more of a grown up sweet type if that makes sense? Really lovely perfume and I love the carton. Such a cool idea. First notes I detect is definetly strawberry and I think it’s because I am a big fan of red berry scents. I love the milk notes in it as well it mixes well together. I find it interesting that it has apple in it and cherries! I think the mix of fruits, milk and woody notes especially amber and sandalwood blend really well. It’s just really yummy, clean and comforting scent. And for some reason I feel that this scent would go well if your wearing trendy street wear with a nice denim jacket? Lol I don’t know why. But yeah, love it

I had this around 2001-2006 and it was beautiful, soft, feminine, almost baby head smell, and yet quite strong. It got compliments, everyone loved it, I can’t really describe it adequately, it was very unique. I bought again about a year ago and have recently tried again but I think all remaining stock of this must be turned. It does resemble what I remember, sort of.. but it fades quickly into what I can only describe as the smell that hits you when you unwrap a condom. This is not just me, husband noticed too!! It’s a very niche aroma, if you like it, well ok, I guess it reminds you of your favourite swinger’s parties.. :/

This is an industrial gourmand. The journey starts with a citrus sharp, plasticky blast, it really amazes me to not see notes like vinyl, asphalt or maybe industrial glue. It reminds me a bit of the smell of Hansaplast. I can detect the nutmeg along with the lily mixed with something that smells like an immitation of milk, or milk that has absorbed the smell of its box and a tad of coconut powder. There is also the bitter orange which is always present and adds some sourness to the blend. Its a strange smell. If you like synthetic notes in perfumes you might like this one. With time the sharpness recedes and the smell becomes rounder, closer to doll scent, powdery and coconutty.

I loved this until one day a coworker said “my god, what are you wearing, you smell like a car air freshener” and immediately I knew she was right. Now, I can’t un-smell that new car smell if I try to wear it

I was so curious about this fragrance. . I was lucky enough to win a half full bottle on ebay for a couple of pounds. At first it’s horribly sharp like when I first sprayed on a cheap copy of bvlgarI jasmin noir. The dry down however is amazing. Creamy, milky, spicy and comforting. I don’t know if I would buy a full bottle, I’ll see how much I wear this

This smells so strange, I am kind of worried it has turned. I ordered from a South American country outside the US and when my bottle arrived it was VERY hot inside the packaging. The first spray was a very sharp alcohol blast, then sour and sweet/fruity. There is a slight creaminess (milk note?) and coconut but unfortunately I’m afraid that just has me smelling like sour milk :O the good thing here is that the silage is very low and the scent is already fading from my skin. When I sniff my arm now I get that creamy sour fruity weirdness but much fainter now thank goodness. There is also that tiny bit of latex/plastic that people have mentioned. I just wish I knew if this was how it was supposed to smell or if I got a bad bottle lol the fact that the scent is fading from my skin so quickly also worries me, as most reviews seem to agree that the silage/longevity is moderate to strong. Update: ok maybe I was a little too hard on this one, about an hour later this smells wonderful on my skin all sweet creamy coconut no more weird sourness. The silage is very close to the skin but the scent itself is amazing.

I’m still not sure what to think of Plus Plus Feminine. It’s definitely unique and not like other fragrances. To me, it is very very sharp, plasticy and synthetic in the beginning. Maybe it could even cause headaches. I don’t know which notes are reponsible for that plastic smell, maybe the lily and the bitter orange? I imagine the top notes to make a rather strict impression, in contrast to the usual cute or seductive impressions most feminine fragrances leave.
As it dries down, it becomes warmer and more pleasant and friendly. Now it’s a nice milky and creamy vanilla with a hint of plasticy floral freshness that keeps it from getting too warm, and I like that. Very clean, but sweet.
On my skin it’s not spicy at all and the milk note is not very distinctive, it just adds creaminess to the vanilla and makes it more soft.
I orderered Plus Plus Feminine and Zero Plus Feminine for cheap online and was mainly interested in Plus Plus cause it sounded so interesting on here and I also like the 90s milk carton packaging, but I think Zero Plus might be the one I wear more often cause it doesn’t have those difficult top notes.
    – Edit after half a year:
I decided I don’t like it. I just can’t bear with the strong plastik screachy lily or lotv or whatever note, it’s not something I enjoy to smell. There have got to be better milky clean vanillas for sure.

This is a little weirdo, I will say that. Can’t seem to peg it down, it’s pretty awful…then it’s pretty great…then it’s best for day, no night!? Either way, I have repurchased it three times over the years, so there’s got to be something in it!
Starts off a bit masculine/spicey, strong & synthetic then after about 20mins it settles into a warm, interesting, exotic coconut that I just LOVE! It’s not a comfortable, easy, simple summer coconut but instead a cheekier, spicier coconut. Sometimes I think it’s a silly simple scent and other times it seems very complex. I layer it over Lush Vanillary solid perfume if I want to make it last a bit longer and it really turns into a very pleasant creamy, spicey, van-coco blend.

I was afraid of the vinyl bite. But ALL I get is wonderful milky, creamy, feminine sophistication.
Close to Armani Lei, and strangley a less sweet Pink Sugar Sensual or Britney Fantasy.
It is delicate but strong as longlasting. Milky, almost on the creamy, nutty, shea butter side. I really really love it!
Timeless, still modern, young, without clichés, soft but effectiv.
Not sweet at all, just the mild touch of milky coconut. A Coco which is not tropical.
Not synthetic, not artificial. Delicious!!!! Smooth. Soft-naturally-sexy.

I loved this one quite a lot 13 years ago.
It wasn’t feminine at all, very masculine fragrance. Powerfull, not sweet, not sensual, not seducing, but bold and (is it because of the name?) benzine-like.
Reading the notes (vanilla, milk, nut…) one would think this is baby-scent, warm, cozy, fluffy gourmand.
    No, it is not.
It is Dominant, leather-wearing , no F giving, sexy woman on a motorcycle on a gas station.

    THIS IS SO 2000
Reminds me of latex and fishnet tights, makes me think of Britney Spears’ early style 🙂
It is milky-sweet, with a hint of alcohol. Should remain in the 2000s.

I love this! I discovered it years after it was released via a work colleague wearing it. I bought some for myself, but as a perfume addict that’s always buying new scents, it kinda got pushed to the back of my closet. But today after clearing out said closet, I rediscovered it. I sprayed it on my wrist to test if it had gone off, and it was still really nice smelling. I kept smelling my wrist all evening! It’s sweet, soft and musky. Unfortunately though, the longevity is very short lived, it fades within a few hours.

Disinfectant + Coconut. I remember testing this in high school and it was a delicious, soft, masculine coconut scent. I went back a while later to buy it but the store had closed so I forgot about it and went on with my life. 8 years later I randomly come across a bottle on the internet. Now I have no idea if I have the worst memory ever or if I bought one from a bad batch but this stuff makes me want to vomit. All I can smell is Pine-O-Clean and maybe? coconut. Disgusting. I threw this in the bin the same day it arrived in the mail.

This was blind buy but worth it. This reminds me of Naomi Cambell’s Naomagic or Emporio Armani Lei/She. Woody, powdery and warm spicy. This scent is just more sweet than Naomagic and Lei. Maybe it’s vanilla that makes it sweeter.

I used to wear it as a teenager. I loved it, because it’s not a girly scent (and I wasn’t a girly girl). On my skin it’s slightly masculine, a mix of musk, milk, vanilla. And more musk.
I loved it so much, that I didn’t want it to end. When the bottle was almost empty, I decided to save it ‘for later’.
Ten years later I rediscovered this fragrance – and I still love it! Don’t know whether it’s the scent itself, or my memories associated with it, but I just have to buy another bottle before it dissapears completely (yes, it’s beed discontinued for a while now).

Blind buy disaster. I think this perfume must be highly dependant on skin chemistry. On my skin it made for a discordant mix of milky & fruity – but not in a good way. The sharpness of the fruit gave it a real “sour milk” smell. It reminded me of colicky babies (& I know cos I had a very “pukey” baby) In the mid stages I also got a hint of something a bit like burnt plastic (synthetic & chemical) It obviously does not suit my skin at all, it’s really unpleasant. I don’t think this is a mild milky “safe” blind buy.

Fresh milky scent, like the coconut milk you’d use in a tropical fruit drink like a pina colada. Very refreshing for a milk scent, quite sweet too but not like a suntan lotion coconut. I’m not getting much Vanilla the coconut is dominant to me.

My cousin’s ex wife used to wear Diesel Plus Plus. As soon as I found out what it was, I ran out and got myself two bottles. It was on Sale for Christmas, so it wasn’t very expensive. I used up those two bottles and got another one on a Sale. After that I couldn’t find it anywhere. This screams ‘milky musk’ to me. I don’t know what it is, but this fragrance is AMAZING! Luckily I found an online store in South Africa that has stock of this & I recently got myself another bottle 🙂 I’m so happy that I can use my Diesel Plus Plus again

This is the weirdest perfume ever. I don’t know if I like it except that I have applied more and can’t stop sniffing it and I love it.
Very, very fresh spicy and milky and just sweet enough to be delightful. First blast is sharply clinical but quickly calms down. Almost like snowy pine needles. So fresh and sparkly, I can’t stop taking deep nosefuls of it. Definitely a cold scent although can probably be worn in all temperatures. It’s really refreshing and clean, “zingy” is a great word for it.
I love it but I don’t! I do know I need to make this a collection staple. This is probably great if you want to feel energised and boost your don’t-mess-with-me, get-your-sh!t-together and no-nonsense vibes. Not a scent for romance or snuggling up on the sofa for a duvet day. This is a get-out-and-do-it kind of fragrance. It is not a perfumey perfume.
I think this perfume makes me happy 🙂
P.S. This is not fruity or sweet or vanilla. It’s sharp and zingy and delicious.
4 June 2015: Just an update on this. I have applied it “clean” i.e. just out of the shower rather than the end of the day, and it is really different to how it was yesterday! It is very coconutty and a lot sweeter and softer, loads more vanilla today and some powder. I prefer today’s version. It smells like tropical holiday. No more snowy pine needles, only slightly zingy and warmer than yesterday. Going on today’s application I may need to promote this to a favourite. Gulp.
I don’t really know what to say now. My review yesterday is an accurate one for how it was yesterday, and my review today is accurate for how it is today.
I wonder if this will be a magic perfume which changes day by day?! Hehe.
It’s totally, utterly gorgeous today. I loved it yesterday but today…Wow.
    Baffling.
Now that I have confused anyone reading this I guess you’ll have to try it and decide for yourself!
TL;DR: This is lovely but try it yourself because I have no idea what’s going on!

I find the opening very masculine (no, I did not accidentally get the men’s version) but I like that about it. It would guess it’s the nutmeg with the cedar. I think this can be worn by both men and women.
It’s milky and creamy, but a bit bitter as well. I also pick up on the woody notes. While this is not a strong “come hither” scent, to me it’s like an amped up skin scent, very intimate and cozy, and in that sense, can be a bit sexy.

This is a very milky, slightly sweet fragrance on me. It is very much a skin scent, hardly any projection. Being that it is not an intrusive fragrance for others, it would be great for an office setting.

This perfume starts of smelling just chemically and like alcohol, but give it 5 minutes and it smells delicious, like a vanilla dessert for adults, not too sweet or rich.
After an hour or so it smells a little milky.
Thereafter it smells clean, almost like a bar of dove soap.
One of my top 5 perfumes, absolutely love it.

Dirty cheap and I feel synthetic bad this fragrance, but reminds me of Thierry Mugler Angel in ugly and toned down version. Sillage is weak after 30 minutes, longevity low to moderate. The male Plus plus is much more pleasant to my nose…

Thanks to 2746cstreet for sending me a decant of Plus Plus. It is a clean and brisk soap scent on the front edge, followed by a delicious, bordering on gourmand sweet and gently spicy wood scent on the back edge. Equal parts white soap and vanilla/chai spices. Kind of like a person who has just showered thoroughly with Ivory Soap creamy body wash, and is now digging in to a piece of freshly buttered cinnamon-sugar toast. I find it more on the unisex side, as shower fresh and sweetly spicy really has no gender. It’s almost like a soapier relative of L’Occitanne’s Eau des Baux.
I love this, and feel it would be perfect for casual settings in autumn. Clean, but festive. Longevity is good, and projection is close to the skin.

Diesel Plus Plus has a nasty note in the first 20 minutes which I really don’t like. Unfortunately, I’ve had to bear it a lot when my wife jumps in the car just after applying the scent. So, I can understand some of the negative reviews here.
Fortunately, after 20 minutes that note that I dislike tones down to something I perceive as milky, and then I quite like my wife wearing Plus Plus.

I like this perfume when I stayed at home in summer. It’s fresh and smell really nice and clean not really vanilla but soapy instead but it’s OK. I recommended to someone who likes smooth and delicate aromas that aren’t overpower.

I love everything about this, except for a strang sharp note that sometimes comes up… I think it`s lily mixed with citrus? It almost smells plastick-y.
Some days that strange note is stronger than other days, very weird.

So this is a very odd perfume. First you get a milk carton and when you open it out comes a medicine bottle. The initial smell is slightly strange. Unisex but after the dry down it’s very feminine. At first I was like, OK…. but it’s already growing on me after one day. Nothing like anything else I have but oddly, I like it. ^^

This is funny: I absolutely hate the Plus Plus Masculine but I really like this one. I am wondering if it has pheromones in it to attract the opposite sex or something. It doesn’t say in the description here. I suppose I could do some research on my own to find out.
Bottom Line: This one smells awesome; The masculine smells like spoiled milk and animal pee.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Actually, at first, yes, perhaps it was chemical, but I took off to work for the day anyway.
After a while, I wondered “Wow, something smells really light, pretty, and creamy…like Nivea lotion”. After I asked a coworker and wandered around for that pretty scent I realized; “Oh, it’s just me!” 🙂 It drydown of Plus Plus Feminine Deisel that was so pretty. So while it might overpower at first, the pretty and very pleasant dry down makes this a good little budget buy for an everyday office scent.

If you are expecting a sweet, milky, fleshy coconut, this is not what you will get. It is very spicy, synthetic and definitely unisex. Makes me ill.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

Well, this one is very strange. I blind bought based on reviews, but it just never developed on me. Initial blast was kind of a milky or muted CK One and then smelled of baby wipes until it died out an hour or two later. Sadly no vanilla, no coconut or creamy goodness. I guess it could be considered fresh or clean, but I would prefer something green or aquatic if I am going for the fresh category. Sending it off to a friend today who will appreciate it.

Sweet fruity and very vanilla. No milk, No fruit detected to my nose.

    5 out of 5

Well, reading the reviews for this scent is not very useful to someone thinking about blind-buying, LOL. Most people seem to smell completely different things, and I’m going to have to add to the pile!
On me, wearing it right now, the musk has overtaken the entire fragrance. It’s a clean, fresh laundry/shower type musk (the same one that is in one of my favorite deodorants, one from Nivea). It’s somewhat sweet, but it also smells quite unisex. It’s not a typical cologne scent, but there is something masculine in here. To my nose it registers as a leather note, although I might be the only one.
I don’t get the coconut, or even the vanilla others mention, but if I really press my nose into my skin I do get something that might be a spice…? Maybe cinnamon or nutmeg?
Basically, this perfume is a chameleon, and there is no telling how it will smell to/on you. But for the price you can afford to try it 🙂 I kinda like it!

A good representant of its time. Milky coconut and sandalwood. Dried fruit and vanilla.

  52. :

This smell is complex, fairly unisex.
    Like sweet peppery coconut milk.
Reminds me a lot of Kenzo Amour Kenzo (that’s more sweet peppery rice milk).
But the “sweetness” is more of a woody sweet, not saccharine sugar sweet.
Very cuddly fragrance. Unique as well.
As it goes through its drydown, the spicy turns into creamy.
Opening: explosion of interesting fruity spicy milk.
Middle: Coconut emerges, sweet peppery coconut milk.
Base: Creamy warm nutmeg milk (like if you microwaved milk with a dash of nutmeg on top, right before bed).
Longevity and sillage are average. I keep getting whiffs of it when I move around, it’s not “in your face” but very pleasantly soft.

  53. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t like this perfume, I may be biased though because I really don’t like coconut scents and to me that is a very strong note in this.
It smells quite masculine actually which is weird with the coconut note.
It’s not a fragrance for me at all but having said that I do think it’s good value for money because it’s quite cheap and it does give off a good scent throw and lasts a reasonable amount of time, so if you like more of the masculine coconut types of scents then you should give it a try.

  54. :

This perfume made me angry. I was fully expecting a milky fragrance, but when I first sprayed it on I immediately thought of Axe or Bod body sprays for men. Nothing “feminine” about Plus Plus Feminine.
After a while the drugstore men’s cologne aroma fades and there is an intimate, snuggly skin-scent feel to it, but overall it still smells cheap, masculine, and poorly crafted.

A lot of notes going on in here. It’s not nearly as sweet as I anticipated. More unisex than feminine, honestly. It’s milky, green, ozonic, musky, woody and spicy all at the same time. Looking at the accords and notes you would expect an entirely different fragrance.
It’s quite a casual scent. Like laundry day casual. Which works because it’s so inexpensive. It’s unique, but not totally unfamiliar.
It’s odd to me that the top accord is sweet because Plus Plus does not smell particularly sweet on my skin. I honestly do not detect a strong vanilla note. Mostly it smells of coconut, milk, lily and cassis (black currant). It dries down to a snuggly coconut milk laced with nutmeg.

Lovely clean, fresh smell for everyday wear at a cheap price when bought from the right places.

This is one of my favourite “to go” fragrances, it is milky, balmy, pleasant, innocent, simple but not cheap-smelling. Staying power could be better, but I really love the smell so I don’t mind reapplying.

I loved this scent when I was younger, milky, vanilla with pepper was my jam. Now when I smell it, I get a little ill. (synthetic)

    It’s interesting.
I have two bottles of this perfume. The first one smells woody-vanilla with nutmeg. Nothing fruity or floral part.
The second one…well, that one is mostly like cassis with fruity and some woody part. And of course some vanilla. But that one smells especially like floral cassis.
    O.O
I like both of them and I offer to try others just I tried to tell the origin of confusion about this fragrance. I think so, not the same fragrance can be found in each bottle.
PS: After drydown the “floral cassis one” smells woody-vanilla with a little nutmeg. But only after that time. Cca. 20 minutes.

This is a spicy, milky strawberry scent. It is sporty and I think it’s unisex. If you like Blue Sugar, you might like this. Personally, I like the bottle design; it’s porcelain-like.

Update: I still like this perfume but this fragrance does not hold long enough. Maybe 1-2-3 hours.

    Jucmorgo,
I believe these are the true notes but am not completely positive. But, if you do a search online there’s two different sets of fragrance notes that you will find. When I first bought the perfume the notes I listed here were the ones I found more prevalent online and I knew for sure there was a lily note and a milk note from press releases when the scent was first released. But, when you read the notes Fragrantica lists there is no milk note listed. I kind of just put two and two together that the set of notes I have listed were the correct ones. I still may be off 1 or 2 notes as I see one other Fragrantican lists the same notes as I have but they differ by a few notes.
Disclaimer…don’t quote me on this, it is merely a personal investigation I made and are in no way fact. You may be able to inquire with Diesel for solid info. Let me know if you do 🙂

    Hi natluvly,
where did you read this notes? I think it is not the true fragrance of this perfume because of nutmeg and coconut. I can smell nutmeg absolutely!
Is your list maybe an earlier fragrance list?
    Thanks for your help.

First off, the notes listed above are incorrect, but I think I found the correct notes on the internet and it was hard to find. Here are the true notes:
Bergamot, passionfruit, green leaves, fantasy fruit note; Heart Notes : Lily of the valley, jasmine, milk; Base Notes : vanilla, musk, tonka bean, sandalwood.
Hopefully this is correct. Ok, so this scent was odd to me at first but you really have to let this settle on the skin for a few minutes before getting a complete view of the scent. It does have a cologne-y smell to it in the beginning (meaning men’s cologne), which I like and then it becomes soft vanilla with a powdery note and a spicy kick to it. This scent is great to me for casual days and sprayed on clothes it’s awesome and lasts longer that way. Smells very calming, in fact at times I spray it on before bed. It’s different and not a typical “Girly” scent, but it makes me feel a bit sexy. Maybe this is due to the cologne smell mixed with vanilla. It reminds me of a woman who may have had on a vanilla scent who hugged her significant other of the opposite sex and some of his cologne rubbed off and mixed with hers. Very unique but still fresh, my kind of scent!

Oh, and I have this product. I like it: sweet but not too sweet (vanilla and little bit coconut, small bitter orange in first time and soft, powdery smell after half an hour. I recommend you, try it if you want to a not too strong powdery-vanilla-orange perfume! 🙂

It is like Jil Sander Sun but of course, not the same but I think they are very similar: vanilia, powdery, spicy and sweet smells. And the bottle and both of them made in Germany. 😉

I agree with other reviewers who say to let this sit on the skin a bit before judging it.It goes on super strong and my first thought was that is smelled almost identical to Curve Crush.Unlike CC though this one loses it’s initial sharpness and dries down to a soft, sweet comfort scent.I fell asleep smelling like Curve Crush but woke up feeling like I was wrapped in a fuzzy blanket:)
