I feel regret purchasing this. It’s so light and soft, but one day, I oversprayed – leading to a horrible frag-migrane. 🙁 Now I can barely tolerate the scent and it just reminds me of a floral shampoo. *shrug* That alone makes it not worth the cost when I love so many other Jo Malone frags! I think this one smells more like lemons and lychee. It’s definitely a BRIGHT and CHEERY scent though. For an extra does of sweet, I was told to layer this with Nectarine Honey Blossom by Jo Malone. Meh.
Every once in a while though, I will have a Proust moment, where the scent takes me back to my elementary school days, when I had a cheap bottle of tinkerbell perfume, again, just that clean floral shampoo smell.

I just purchased this perfume. The other jo malones I have are Nectarine Blossom, Orange Blossom and Blackberry & Bay. I thought this would be a good one to add to my collection. Originally I thought I would like Osmanthus blossom more but it disappeared from my skin in 20 minutes! Plum blossom is the perfect spring/summer date or evening fragrance. During the day I would probably combine it with something lighter like NB&H. On me I can definitely smell the fruitiness of the plum but it dries to a softer floral. Definitely recommend a sniff. Plus is has much more longevity than my other Jo Malone Colognes.
I combined it with Backberry & Bay and wouldn’t say it was a great combo… Today I combined with Nectarine Blossom & Honey and WOW! great combo, I find NB&H can dry to a very sour smell on me so the plum blossom’s longevity will keep this combo smelling lovely all day.

Meh. Just tried the re-release of this fragrance at Nordstroms. Out of the three this was the only one I decided to try on my skin.
Sadly the longevity if quite horrendous! It’s been less than 2 hours and it has pretty much faded from my skin already Like others have mentioned, this fragrance does smell really pretty and pleasant. However, to me it does not smell unique at all! I actually have to agree with tonix8, this does have the same vibe as Chloe. When I tested it I thought it smelled familiar and it finally clicked. Glad to see I am not the only who had the same thought.
If you really enjoy this fragrance go for it! It definitely has a pretty bottle. Though considering how it did not smell remotely unique, this is definitely a pass for me. Sadly, so far from their limited edition “blossom” scents none have caught my interest enough to pay the price.

just like pear and freesia this one is super expensive shampoo smell , is ok but i would not repurchase

this smells exactly like Chloe edp on me. Except this is fresher and instead of rose, I get peony. However, the musky base on me is exactly like that of Chloe. Pleasant, but unoriginal. Disappointing.

I guess that I shouldn’t expect to find a nice plum here. It really smells more like a plum blossom scent. Too musky – too soapy.
I can’t say that I’m impressed.

I have 14 plum trees in my mini-orchard, and this scent smells nothing like true plum blossom, IMHO. The first joy of spring is the wonderful fragrance from the plum trees, which always bloom first. Very disappointing that Jo Malone was not able to capture their true essence with this product.

I was disappointed in this one. Kind of sharp and dry; very crisp. I was hoping for a little more fruitiness or sweetness. Might work to tone down one of the sweeter or heavier JM scents, but I don’t care for it myself.

This is so light and simply gorgeous!!! So bright and clean. This almost reminds me of a very beautiful smelling bar of soap. I also think this will combine well with a lot of other JM scents.
MOROZikMADI – :
this has a similar scent with JM’s limited edition, Sakura Cherry Blossom. sakura was launched for Spring 2011.. whereas Plum Blossom is the Summer Limited Edition. it has more floral, less musky, which is GOOD.
I would wear this day and/or night.
