Description
“Some people are born lucky…” is the motto of the new Playboy concept and Press to Play collection which counts four fragrances named Hollywood, Malibu, Miami and Vegas. The fragrances embody style and dynamics of life in four big cities. Each of the compositions shows style and nature of different men, but what is in common to them is erotic allusion which tingles women’s imagination.
Playboy Miami is sexy, lustrous and sensual. Passion for life is shown in a pleasant mixture of bergamot with green vegetable, apple and ozone. A heart is dominated by rosewood, along with jasmine and cyclamen, while a base attracts attention with amber, musk and cedar, which leave a magnetic scent on man’s skin and charms the gentler sex in a seductive way.
The flacons have dark bodies and Playboy logo, rabbit. Each perfume has different colour of its fluid. The flacons are cylindrical and they arrive as 50 and100ml EDT.
Playboy Miami was launched in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Dirk Braun.

This is a pretty basic scent that is inoffensive and great for those days that you don’t know what to wear and for occasions that you want something pleasant but not something bold.
To describe this scent is pretty simple. It’s a typical fresh, light,,citrusy scent that has some slight sweetness in the background and also a light hint of greenness and muskiness in the background. It’s perfect for those that want 1 casual fragrance for the summer months but for fragrance fanatics this will be just another pleasant freshie. The vibe this gives off is very similar to Playboy Malibu but i definitely like Malibu a lot better as it’s more pleasant and despite being another typical fresh scent it also has some character that makes it stand out.
Performance on this is decent ! It lasts 3-6 hours and projects about average.
Overall rating — 6.5 out of f 10 ! Nice smell and decent performance but this fragrance won’t be memorable to me

This definitely has a fun, fruity sweet opening! However, it dies off quickly (as with most fruity openings of fragrances targeted for men).
After the fruity opening, a fresh aquatic + musk combo guide the rest of the fragrance journey to a generic, masculine “wood” base. There is a soapy fresh nuance here, but nothing distracting. In fact, this smells like a better version of Alfred Sung’s Paradise for Men. Where Paradise had a nice fruity opening, it was beaten into submission by a powerful soapy accord that just ruined any other positive aspect of the fragrance. Thankfully, Playboy Miami doesn’t have any jarring soap accords.
A nice cheapy I’ll overspray on casual days.

I’d like to make an update after trying it (on my skin) again.
It’s not as good as i thought the first/last time when I tried it but it’s ok. Very fresh and it has a prominent cedar, sea/ocean and bergamot scent. I’ve also figured out that I think it suits spring.
This is an edt I wouldn’t pay much for… But it’s still not bad. It’s wearable for ordinary occasions/daily use.

I like this one! 🙂
Very aquatic and woody with intensive bergamot. I would probably like it more without the cedar and amber. The cedar is quite strong compared to the amber which is barely noticeable. Some floral twist in it and very weak musk (almost none).
Tried it right after Playboy Super (for him/men) and I definately prefer this one. This is not sweet at all, while Super is, and this has a nice and common bergamot scent.
Suits all seasons in my opinion. Good for both days and nights but better for evenings or as something you use after taking a shower (because of the freshness).

I can easily see this being a mainstream scent. Typical green and woody and aquatic notes I so often notice other guys of my age wearing, whether branded perfumes of cheap ones. The floral notes, though mild, add that strange sweetness to it that I so love in dry downs. Didn’t expect sillage and longevity at all. And I was right.. But all in all its a casual scent I can see myself wearing everyday. However I liked Malibu much better than this one.

My boyfriend used to wear this, and I love this on him! It smells so sexy on his skin! Smells much better than Le Male, well, on his skin at least.

Car air freshener, please don’t waste your money.

Smells exactly like Intense by Rue21. Not that good. :/

I had this perfume and it’s very nice…to be honest, nothing special…typical men perfume…it’s very fresh citrus like, with hint of jasmine and cedar. This perfume is for every men…there is not like it or not…because it is typical…so, if you want something fresh and nice…buy it.

I love this cologne. Such good intensity for a cheap cologne. Projects like crazy and lasts so long. Awesome summery fragrance.

I don’t know why I bought this, I thinK it smells foul in a boring, weak, unimpressive kind of way. I don’t like the smell of it, the fragrance is definitely cheap smelling, so you may as well buy a nice body spray instead.
The notes on the page look nice, but I also detect a sort of salady vibe, like the side salad you get with a meal, water cress or something. Anyways this is not a perfume, merely an imposter scent in a bottle.

I wear this as a female 😉
I was looking for something I could use daily, that would be unisex-powerful, spicy, and jasmine at the same time, without being like all the lame candy-fruit glitter-girl frags offered to women these days…
Works well on me, as a scent and as aroma therapy 🙂 also the SO likes it, but it smells sweeter on him.

When they developed this with Florida in mind. I wonder if they were thinking about the humidity? I had the chance to use Miami in the same enviorment. Plain and simple. It needs some work. It has no lasting power. I want my colognes to run an all day marathon. I want people to know im in the room.
Miami stays very close to the skin. It opens fresh and then dies down quick. It last longer if you spray it on your clothes. Maybe i will use it as a car air freshener.
