“You smell like a dessert… good enough to eat!”
a Ganache is an emulsion of chocolate, fat, and liquid. Very often cream plays the role of both fat and liquid. This provides a convenient means of imparting flavors to ganache: simply steep whatever spices, teas, etc, in heated cream before adding it to the melted chocolate.
This scent is a delicious blend of white chocolate and slightly roasted pistachios
a lush heavy cream blends everything nicely together
Something soo simple .. can make something sooo
    EXTRA Special….

Yes, I can smell each and every one of those notes here. The floral honey, some melting milk chocolate, a raw woody pistachio, and the jasmine. I agree that the florals might be a tad too much interfering with the gourmand notes. Causing it to smell more like the aroma of a lovely high end bar soap than a gourmand treat. It is very pleasant, and right before it completely disappears it gains a more sweet realistic pistachio essence – however a little too late. It lasts a few hours, but unfortunately it hardly matters because it is so extremely close to the skin that I have to stick my nose to it to smell it. I suppose you’d have to douse yourself to be satisfied. I enjoyed Bergamot Truffle much more, and it had a bit more umph and lasting power.

Finally, a Payard I can appreciate! This is how Laura Mercier’s Creme de Pistache eau de toilette was supposed to smell (or how I’d hoped it would, at least). It goes perfectly with her yummy, nutty bath and body line. And finally, a Payard that is true to its name! Delicious, extremely gourmand, so much so that it would be risque to break it out in summertime. I still will, I can be a nut so why not smell like one? But seriously, this is sweet, creamy, milky pistachio heaven. Finally.

I love the top notes! Unfortunately within 15 minutes of applying, I can’t smell anything! I’ve never had a fragrance leave me so soon. Damn. I wish it stayed because it was delightful while it lasted!

Okay, this Pistachio Ganache is the least sweet fragrance out of the trio. but I warn you, it is still sweet. Instead of sugary sweet, this flanker is honey sweet with creamy milk quality to it (or it’s white chocolate?) Plus pistachio is a little sharp but gives somewhat a clean nutty feeling while jasmine doesn’t really need to be here as it’s just covered in honey. In my opinion, Payard fragrance is more like a novelty item. It’s not for everyday use, but maybe more suitable for a holiday or fun giveaway. Nothing serious, but you might lose a tooth or two with these sweet goodies.
