Description

Pink Princess is a new addition to the Princess fragrance line by Vera Wang; a limited interpretation of the original Princess from 2006 for 2013. The fragrance promises to be girlish, lively, spontaneous and energetic, intended for your charming and always happy “inner princess.”

The composition is a fun floral bouquet that opens with luminous pink grapefruit and raspberry sorbet, introducing the heart of pink hibiscus and creamy honeysuckle. An accord of marshmallow and white amber provide some sweetness to the base of the perfume.

The fragrance is available as 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette

Fell in Love with this for day wear- powdery sweet and balanced with tangy citrus, tender floral and amber drydown….always improved my mood for the day

My ideal fragrance. Rich in sweet, juicy berries and marshmallow notes. Love it more than words can describe!

I own almost the whole line of Vera Wang Princess, except this one. And there is a reason for it. Pink Princess is one of the sweetest fragrances, not just from its own line, but from most of my sweet frag collection. It is a headache inducer to me, very sickly strong, cloying and artificial. I could not even stand it on my skin, even though I love and own many super sweet fragrances. I had to scrub it off before getting to the dry down stage, as well as getting rid of the pink glitters that got transferred from the bottle to my hand. Definitely not a safe one for hot weather or closed space like in the elevator, or small office space, or food serving services…And I only tested it with one spray.
It does remind me of Victoria Secret Life Is Pink Live Pink EDP, but Live Pink is fresh, bright and lasts, the bottle is also darling. This Pink Princess bottle is so child-like to my taste and looks even more tacky in person. I don’t understand this design and the existence of this one at all.

cute bottle, name and notes, mediocre perfume. It starts almost like Escada perfumes. The blast of raspberry and citrusy notes are refreshing and enjoyable. It’s a really fruity/berry scent to enjoy for something like ten minutes. After that, all I smell is fruity sugar or vanilla(Let’s say marshmallow). It’s vaguely woody and floral as well, but the overall impression is detectable only if I sniff deeply my wrist.
So, even though I like the notes and bottle and generally girly perfumes, I’d never consider having this one. If I want a fruity perfume, I’d simply go for escada and if I want a berry splash, midnight rain with huge long lasting power is there.

Very sweet berry marshmallow fluff. I can’t even say that I smell raspberries…just a generic “berry” note. It doesn’t last long nor does it have much projection. Easy and inoffensive to wear, but it wasn’t interesting enough for daytime wear so I used up my bottle spraying it as a bedtime perfume. Cute bottle, though, if you like pink glitter!

Decided to start reviewing my sotd again, and starting with this.I hate to say, yeah what she said, but I readily agree with the majority of previous reviews. This scent is very sweet, very fleeting, and perhaps thankfully, almost imperceptible to others.I bought mine awhile ago at Marshalls,as I really do love all the heart shaped bottles, but this one is just an overly sweet, synthetic berry mess, with no longevity or sillage.I’m just glad I didn’t pay full retail for this.I have B&BW body sprays that last longer, and most definitely smell better.Even my 13 yr old didn’t like it and she would bathe in Cotton Candy body spray.
So,would I recommend,no.Will I repurchase, nope. In fact it is in my Finish this bottle project box to use up,wearing around the house. Not a scrubber, but definitely not worth the money,at any price.

I cant smell this on me. when i put on a ton i can only smell it when my nose is touching my wrist. I don’t understand people’s association with marshallow to this perfume. I just smell very sweet raspberry and hibiscus
if you want a good marshmallow perfume buy calgon marshmallow body spray. I know it’s pricey for a body spray but it’s worth every penny. it most certainly has >10,000x the silage and longevity of pink princess. pink princess doesn’t even have the silage of the length from my neck to my nose. Valentines day happened to be the 1st spring day up here in San Jose and I wore it and it made me happy to apply but had to keep reapplying to no avail. by dinner date time I was happy to wear a half squirt of calvin cline euphoria. a week later my 2 fantasy perfumes came in the mail and right before I opened them my pink princess fell off my dresser and broke into a million pieces. I didn’t care a bit

I have had a sample of, or have owned every Vera wang princess flanker. This is by far my favorite. I still buy discontinued bottles on eBay as other marshmallow scents don’t please me (guimauve, royal Hollywood). This scent is amazing, but the reviews are true, sillage and longevity are lacking, but I buy anyways. Try putting a carrier oil on before spraying. Just is too good to stop buying.

I have a problem with this perfume because I like its scent but I don’t like its sillage. The sillage is weak. The fragrance is of a moderate strength but only for, let’s say, the first 30 minutes and then it stays very close to skin, for more than 6 hours on mine.
I have a sample but if I had bought a bottle, I’d have been disappointed with its lack of power.
The fragrance itself reminds me of Viva La Juicy! by Juicy Couture. Marshmallows, raspberry, honeysuckle and amber are the most recognizable for me. A sweet fragrance, not cloying thankfully, pleasant, happy and dark fuchsia.
Viva La Juicy! is more powerful, hyper, while this one is more girly and calmer.

I really really wanted to like this perfume but I can’t. It’s a nice sweet scent marshmallows and raspberry without being chokingly sweet and cloying. However it disappears on me instantly. I spray it on my skin and within 15 minutes I have to put my nose against my skin to smell it and within an hour and a half all I can smell is the scent of my skin. I don’t know if this is a problem for the perfume itself or if it’s just my skin that eats it up but if I had known I wouldn’t have wasted my money.

I blind bought this after reading the notes and reviews. I dislike the original ‘Princess’ but was curious. The bottle is hardcore girly. It is quite cute but messy when glitter falls off. The actual scent is okay, but reads as just another sweet fragrance to me. It is not significant in anyway to me. Though the first spray is less strong and sweeter, ‘Pink Princess’ is very similar to Katy Perry’s ‘Purr’ on me. Different opening notes, but same drydown pretty much. I will use this liberally as a body mist as the longevity is weak. All in all it is just Okay, and the bottle is the best part of this fragrance.

Sugary sweet. Overly sweet. Yes -marshmallows, bit of raspberry, hint of honeysuckle. The bottle really suits the scent -pink glittery, quite young. As does the name. It is overly sweet, cloying though. A bit young smelling for teenagers even – even though I dont like to say only certain people of certain ages can wear certain scents, and I’m not sure about giving perfumes to children really. Maybe if it was combined with another very light scent -an airy, fruity floral I would prefer it. As I said the bottle/design/colour and name fits it perfectly though.I associate pink grapefruit with being very zingy and bright, and it does have a slight hint of some fruit but not quite pink grapefruit. Just..sugar really. I dont actively dislike it-at first I thought I liked it but then it got too much. Theres certainly scents I would take more offense to.Girly! Lasting power isnt bad…a whole evening.

I really like this perfume. It’s sweet and girly, which is a perfect daytime scent for me. I got this perfume for really cheap however and I think that’s all it’s worth; I wouldn’t pay full price for this or however much it originally went for. Someone else mentioned that it smells a bit like Taylor Swift’s “Wonderstruck” perfume, which I agree, however Pink Princess smells a tad bit sweeter. Overall this is a sweet scent, but I don’t think it’s my favorite out of the Princess line.

  14. :

What a little gem of a fun scent this is! As far as smelling like Wonderstruck…maybe similar, but not exact. Wonderstruck has more berry-fruity sharpness at the opening, whereas Pink Princess is just sugary-fruity sweetness all the way through. On me, it lasts about 2 hours, but I don’t mind respraying if I’m at home or out for a short time in the daytime. I’m 41, but I don’t feel too OLD for this scent – I have a rather fun personality so when I’m in the mood, I reach for this 🙂

Bought this on sale at Winners because I figured why not? It was limited edition and as a complete girly-girl myself, how could I not love something COVERED in glitter by the name of “Pink Princess”. After wearing it I knew it wasn’t the love story I had imagined. By the end I never wanted to smell raspberries ever again and now recoil when I see raspberries as a perfume ingredient. Pink Princess and I just didn’t get along and I sent her back to where she came, not even worth the discounted ~$30 I had paid for her company.

    One of my favorites!!!
This one on me is subtle & light…a light sweet berry with a hint of marshmallow & vanilla scent. I love it! On me its not long lasting but I do get compliments when I wear this and my husband loves it on me as well!
This one is perfect for those warm spring & summer days!

I’m not a fan of this scent. It was a blind buy for me. It’s sickly sweet and very “loud”. I do prefer softer florals. I wish I had checked this site first but I left my phone at home. I’ll defiantly be giving this to a friend

MY #1 FAV PERFUME!!!!! i just bought this today! Before i recieved it, me and a male friend of mine we were at the mall and we tried this perfume out and i was immediately in love! the smell is fruity at first, then when it sets in its smells like candy. So many men out there REALLY LOVE this scent on women! TAKE NOTE GIRLS!! When my guy friend was at the mall and tried it he immediately decide to buy this for his girlfriend cuz he loved it so much and it was very affordable! The cons about this is that this lasts about 2 hours, maybe 3 at most,(wish it stayed longer) and the exterior of the bottle looks kind of childish and the glitter that falls off here and there.. Anways i think women who should wear this be age of (17-35).. smells delicious! i will buy more as soon as i start to run out! rating out of 1-10 i rate this a 9 . I wouldve rated this a 10 if only the smell lasted longer. This is already on of my fav perfumes!!

I got this perfume today, and to me it smells exactly like Wonderstruck. I actually put them both on my wrists to compare, and I cannot tell any difference, besides wonderstruck is a little more powerful. I like the perfume, but I don’t think I will purchase it again, then I’d rather go for Wonderstruck.

Pink Princess is a soft and ‘fluffy’ perfume. The Original Princess’s younger & cute sister.
I bought this for only £12.95 for a 30ml bottle and I am absolutely in love with this one!
It is sweet, soft, gentle florals & the raspberries add a juicy and refreshing edge to the perfume. I’m really indulging my inner child with Pink Princess, especially the over-the-top pink sequin bottle! It has a soft presence yet lasts around 4-5 hours which I am happy with.
Overall, I love Pink Princess! Of course none of Vera Wang’s ‘Princess’ line is to be taken seriously but sometimes you need a little cheering up and I feel Pink Princess does just that!
I highly recommend for anyone who wants a sweet & cute perfume in their collection.

Pink Princess reminds me of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 80’s! I mean this as a compliment, I loved the way those dolls smelled, their hair and their gummy shoes. Definitely a strawberry scent, fresh and punchy. I find the bottles’s design fun, as glitter makes everything better! 😉 All though I can’t wear the original Princess, as it goes way too spicy with my chemistry, this flanker could be an option. But it might be a bit strong in the fruit department for my normal taste. For 80’s toy nostalgia, this one is a winner.

This was a blind TJ Maxx purchase for my 9 year old’s birthday. The description seemed like there was no way I could go wrong, but I don’t care for it. I don’t smell raspberries but a sweetness that’s too mellow and cloying- it almost smells slightly sleazy or musky-powdery or something to me. Maybe the honeysuckle? I prefer crisper top notes I guess.

  26. :

Strawberry, sugar then a subtle vanilla. This fragrance is lovely, but doesn’t last long.
The packaging and the bottle recieve full marks from me. No denying the presentation is beyond beautiful. The little hot pink, sequined bottle looks divine on my makeup table.
I wouldn’t buy again though. It’s delicious, fruity and girlie, but it just vanishes on me after 20 mintues, so it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag I paid.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

Totally and completely girlie, I LOVE this. Pink princess epitomizes a sweet, feminine, sugary, fruity scent. On me it starts out with a strong blast of fruit, and evolves into a vanilla sugary smell, just lovely. I wish the sillage was better, especially for the price. Worth a buy though, and looks awesome on my vanity.

Wearing this today and I just couldn’t think of what it reminds me of. Then it hit me it smells just like Viva La Juicy noir by Juicy Couture! This lasts much longer than the original Vera Wang Princess. Find the bottle a bit annoying with pink glitter falling off in my handbag but other wise it is a perfect sweet fragrance.

  29. :

Bubble-gum, Barbie, candy, flowy floral dresses and picking flowers in the sunshine.
This fragrance is girly, carefree fun. True definition of “pink.”
However it’s not for me because it’s too sweet for my taste- like raspberry-flavored powder candy.
A whiff of this sets up a scene of giggling young girls having a tea party, dressed in their favorite Disney princess costumes.

  30. :

Pink Princess is whispering sweet nothings in my nose. No, I mean it literally smells like sweet nothing! Princess Night opens with red berries and dries down to the caramel of Jessica Simpson’s Fancy, the original Princess smells like a cousin of BS Fantasy and Pink Sugar Sensual with it’s slightly aquatic abstract nuances, but this is just “pink” and sweet. It doesn’t even smell like berries.
But you know what? I like it. I like the smell of “sweet”, and that’s all this is. Soft and sweet nothing. After all, marshmallows are mostly made of air…

  31. :

    5 out of 5

Super sweet and fruity. Literally smells like a sweet raspberry marshmellow to me.
IMO I love it, but it certainly doesn’t last long, by the time it dries down, it’s pretty much gone.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

A friend of mine owns this and let me wear it when we went out together. It lasted for a very long time on me and I had men telling me that I smelled incredible. I still prefer Viva La Juicy, but this wouldn’t be a bad perfume to wear during the day when I want a break from my true love (VLJ). I might buy this.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I like this one better than Princess 🙂 you can smell it more clearly but at the same time is not offensive. This is a perfume you are able to get compliments from

  34. :

I just got Pink Princess and I have to say – it smells almost exactly like one of my other favorites, BCBG Maxazria. Very light and fruity and delicious!

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Pink Princess is definitely my favourite in the Princess collection. I’ve had my eye on this for a long time and just got it as a Christmas gift. It’s such a fruity perfume and it makes me feel so girly and giddy when I wear it. I can easily see this becoming my new signature scent, because it’s not too heavy or offensive. Absolutely love it!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

ok i like it but it fade quickly after 20 minute

  37. :

    3 out of 5

This is my other favorite from the Princess line, along with Princess Night. It is very creamy and sweet, perfect for those who like scents similar to Britney Spears Fantasy. I get a burst of raspberry sorbet with the initial spray, but that quickly fades into sweet marshmallow. This fragrance certainly won’t be for everyone, but it’s right up my alley and I adore it.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I did an experiment because I had read that Wonderstruck smells very similar to Pink Princess. So….I had Wonderstruck on my right wrist and sprayed Pink Princess on my left wrist, they did in fact smell very similar, but the Wonderstruck was a bit less sweet and a bit more musky. I really like them both and already own the Wonderstruck, I may ask for Pink Princess for Christmas. The longevety on both perfumes was fabulous, over 8 hours on both! The PP seemed a bit less than WS in the sillage department but both projected pretty well, I could smell them both from a fooot of so away from my wrists. Now for the bottles, I really like the Wonderstruck bottle, it is pretty and the charms are a nice touch, the Pink Princess bottle however is so kind of “kindergarden arts and crafts” it is cute, overly cute and babyish and it feels bizarre in the hand. I don’t collect the bottles though, the perfume means more to me than the bottles 95% of the time.
All in all, yes the perfumes smell very similar but there is a bit of difference in the sweetness and I would like to own the PP in addition to my Wonderstruck.

Very sweet, nice fragrance. I don’t smell any citruses in it. It doeesn’t last very long. I bought it and now I regret it.

  40. :

WOW! This really DOES smell like Wonderstruck! Oh Vera! I still like it though. And I LOVE the glittery pink bottle! I’m going to have to get it eventually. : )

  41. :

    5 out of 5

Smells very similar to Taylor Swift’s first fragrance, Wonderstuck. This is less shophisticated though but quite fun and delicious smelling.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

I like this waaaaaaaaaay more than I’m willing to admit. I mean, ‘PINK’ “princess”!?? Not really my style. I don’t mind young and girly, but this is VERY girly. On my skin it is a sweet raspberry but not candy sweet, with a touch of pink grapefruit. No marshmallow creaminess on me (I think I’d die from sweetness if it was detectable on my skin)
…Like others though, unfortunately there’s not enough depth for me, so it’s not worth purchasing. Merely, Pink Princess is a guilty pleasure best enjoyed spraying on your skin at the department store… then moving on.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Berry marshmallow fluff. It’s a brand new release, but I have definitely smelled this before. Similar to Taylor Swift Wonderstruck (but toned down a notch on sweetness), Katy Perry Purr (minus the berries), Hot Couture EDT, and Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland. A little bit like a softer, berry-flavored Pink Sugar. Sweet and likeable, but… meh.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I like the way it smells but not enough to buy it. I have always thought Vera Wang perfumes were overpriced, this is no exception. Also the sillage and longevity aren’t worth the price. It smells good, though.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

This is my least favorite of all the Vera Wang Princess line.
It smells like extremely sweet red berries and sugar. It sort of mellows out after a while, but that’s basically it. It has a teeny bit of depth that keeps it from being too little girl childish and more appropriate for the teenage crowd. Sadly, I get no floral notes or amber.
It’s of the same vein as Britany Spears Fantasy or Taylor Swift Wonderstruck.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

It’s a nice, sweet, young scent. I really smell the berries and the marshmallows. I think it smells very similar to Coach Poppy.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

Finally tested it. It’s pretty, girly and candy sweet. The raspberries and marshmallow are so delicious and yummy and the grapefruit is so sugary and candied.
It reminds me of a sweeter, younger version of Dolce & Gabbana’s new Pour Femme. I own Princess Night but I think I prefer this latest Pink Princess. The glitter on the bottle looks so beautiful and vibrant. The only downside is that it doesn’t stick around for very long. But if Pour Femme is too expensive for you, give this one a shot. It’s gone on my wish list 🙂

  48. :

Love it! everything about it! the smell is very pretty. soft and sweet and the bottle is just gorgeous! love.

  49. :

Love this one!!!!!! it smells just like Big Pony 2. wow!!! It’s a sweet/fruity fragrance, a little strong, so more for the begining, or end of those summer days. Too bad it only sells in the 30ml at my local drug store 🙁

  50. :

    4 out of 5

This one is similar to Cherry In The Air, and also RL Big Pony 4. It has those same tangy sweet fruity notes. Raspberry blended with grapefruit really brings out a delicious pulpy tartness. With the first spray I could have sworn I smelled watermelon! But upon drying down it is definitely zingy tart fruit deepened by a little amber, and sweetened by a hint of marshmallow. It is more substantial than CITA, but less syrupy sweet than BP4. A nice balance between the two. I happen to like this type of scent. It is fun and cheery and very fem. Contrary to most of the other reviews I really found this to last a long time – at least 8 hours – and that was from one small spritz.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

citrus fruits with sugar powder is the best way to describe this fragrance it is tasty smelling and mouthwatering. It is a positive uplifting fragrance that is adorable & happy feeling. In two minds whether to buy it though as the lasting power is so short its ridiculous i couldn’t smell it after 20 minutes on me and i sprayed a generous 6 times. I love a sugary powdery fragrance but perhaps this one is too light & powdery as you can barely smell it after the initial spray on the skin. An absolutely delicious fragrance though truly lovely.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

This is very young and candy sweet, lovely for a 15 year old, cute bottle cute scent, but aimed at the very young,Vera Wang catters a lot to teenagers it seems..I hope she comes up soon with a more complex scent..!

  53. :

    3 out of 5

The bottle is cute, however it is childish. The scent is sweet and fruity. It lasted a whole 30 minutes then I couldn’t smell anything. Did not amaze me. The fact that it disappeared in no time makes it not worth the heavy price tag. It’s more like a body splash. I’ll pass.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

I could definitely smell the citrusy part of it first, then the vanilla sweetness for a moment then on as it dried to a powdery fresh smell. It’s a soft scent, very pretty. I don’t like the cheapness of the bottle and wished maybe if it had little sparkly diamonds on it, that would catch the eye better. The fragrance didn’t last very long on my skin though, so I’m not sure I’d pay that much for something that doesn’t last that long!

  55. :

the bottle is to die for its so pretty! it smells very sweet and young too! I love vera wang’s perfumes and bottles!

  56. :

    5 out of 5

Firstly, the bottle is very gaudy and childish and the material feels rough and looks cheap. It looks like a 5 year old’s arts and crafts project. The scent itself is nothing special, Vera Wang did well on the original princess but the flankers have yet to impress me.

This is gorgeous! I bought it yesterday at Ulta and I it’s just awesome!

  58. :

Starts off smelling very fruity, lots of lovely raspberry, however it fades quickly along with the freshness, shame really, such a promising start.

Have just purchased this, and I think it is delightful. I find it lasts and lasts. I keep getting lovely wafts of it, even though I can’t smell it so much on my wrist. Very sweet and unusual smell. I am 66 years old but do not find it too young. Highly recommend this one!

  60. :

I tried this in store and I have to say it’s not my favourite out of the Princess range, that would have to go to Princess Night, but if you’re a fan of fruity sweet scents then it’s for you.
I would have loved this except it has honeysuckle in it which sadly seems to always tip the balance for me in a fragrance, making the scent a bit too sweet for my personal tastes.
Even though I’m probably going to leave it in store, I believe it’s going to be another hit for Vera Wang. Looking forward to seeing what her next fragrance will be like.

I had this as a sample and really don’t like it its like a childs fragrance and smells like a pick a mix, I’d never wear it. Yeuch.

  62. :

    5 out of 5

this smells like sweets lol it’s not sickly sweet like britney’s fantasy/midnight fantasy, it’s lighter, it reminds me of pick ‘n’ mix.

  63. :

I just spotted this in Debenhams today and I quite like it. It does not smell anything like original princess but I like this one better. It is pretty much similar to night princess but the latter is a bit darker and heavier. This one, however, is very sweet and fruity, probably suitable for girls under 25. I like it but prefer night princess as it is a bit more mature.

  64. :

    3 out of 5

Sooo yummy! Smells very Britney Spears Fantasy-esque but in my opinon it’s better. If that’s your type of smell you will lurrrve this. Not sure if it’s too sweet for me but the smell is lovely. Thumbs up!

  65. :

    3 out of 5

    This is great.
There’s loads of raspberry in the beginning with the brightness of the grapefruit. It’s very sweet, juicy and candy like. I love this stage, it’s so vibrant and inviting. The middle becomes creamier with the marshmallow but the fruits are still present. It dries just a tamer version of the middle notes. I didn’t get any florals in this, it’s just sweet and fruity.
Sillage is great in the beginning as the juiceness lingers around but it does tame rather quickly and lasting power is just decent. The fragrance on a whole is fab though.

  66. :

    5 out of 5

Saw it, got it, love it!
I saw this advertised today as a new fragrance and, as I got money for my birthday and was after a perfume with grapefruit notes, I bought it.
It is soo scrummy. The downside is that it does not last at all. However, I decided to overlook this because every other perfume I tried just paled in comparison after I’d tried this!
Grapefruit notes are there, I can mostly smell a strawberry and a citrus ‘tang’.
My boyfriend said it reminds him of Britney Spears Fantasy, or “The Britney one” as he calls it, it has the sweetness, but is much softer and I am hoping, more suited to summer. 🙂
