Starts off promising w/a hint of dry vanilla dusted over a bed of Pineapple Intense. But it’s a lie. It’s just not very different from previous offerings except for a subtle acrid note, otherwise redundant I’m sorry to say. And I had such high hopes Stammers wasn’t just ca$hing in. Just average longevity though it does project while it’s around… My sillage had colleagues agreeing they smelled a strong cleaning solution.

I’m mistaken – its14G01 of Aventus it reminds me of, interestingly, performs exactly the same way on my skin. This lasts for days on clothes but to me, just like G01, dries down to the sort of vanilla that’s beautiful, but ever so slightly feminine. Fantastic scent though.

I have had many many batches of Aventus. To be honest, I’ve been disappointed by the Pineapple Vintage to date but this one is so similar to my 14M01 batch of Aventus. Maybe not the longevity but a cracking attempt at a heavier vanilla batch of Creed Aventus

For those who think they are buying a vanilla focused fragrance… they will be in for an understandable but unpleasant surprise. The Pineapple Vintage line are all variations on the Creed Aventus theme. I don’t consider them clones as they exist in their own space, and to me they are too expensive to be considered “clones”.
If you enjoy Pineapple Vintage or Pineapple Vintage Intense, but think the fruit is just a little too sharp, you will love Pinapple Vintage Vanilla Intense. The vanilla note is added to smooth out the fragrance just a touch to provide balance to the fruity, smoky, birch, and ambergris notes.
I enjoy this flanker but I slightly prefer Pineapple Vintage Intense; I prefer its boldness.
