This a bright fragrance, fresh. I typically can’t do rose in perfumes but the ginger makes it easy for me to wear, not spicy but just enough to balance the rose. It’s like opening a pomelo, after a shower. Good day/daily scent for someone that doesn’t like to wear perfumes or wants a break from more complex fragrance

This smells like playdoh from the bottle. Although, it subsides a bit when you put it on your skin and it takes on a more floral aspect, but otherwise it’s pretty linear. They had the right idea when making this scent, but they missed the mark.

Saccarine-sweet. Headache-inducing. Fruity, alcoholic, and utterly one-dimensional. No sign of any ginger. Smells bargain-basement cheap. Do you want to recapture your youth and smell like a tween? … That’s the only I reason I can conjure up that someone would enjoy this.
Blind bought this online on the basis of the ginger note and ME as the nose…threw it away within 2 weeks of receipt. Also tested the juniper scent from this line in my Ulta…it was a headache-y scrubber. Needless to say I’ll steer clear of this line from now on. Still love ME’s work for Tokyomilk, though!

Persimmon Plum is juicy, fruity, sweet-but-not-too-sweet, slightly spicy, and overall a very feminine perfume. It’s an instant favorite for me.
In addition to the listed notes, the ingredients label on the box includes essential oils of labdanum and grapefruit. Thinking hard on the type of fruit this smells like (it’s not persimmon, plum, or grapefruit) I settled on starfruit, actually. The fruit and amber notes dominate in this scent, while I find the ginger and rose very subtle, and the cedar undetectable so far.
Also note, I tried the lotion in Whole Foods, and it was much sweeter and fruitier, but still quite nice.
Edit-May 2013: The more I wear this (and the bottle is almost gone now, because I really do love it) the more I feel that it actually does smell strongly of grapefruit.
