I bid on a job lot of minatures and beauty items on eBay and came away with some interesting perfumes that I had never heard of. This was one of them. There was only about 1-2ml left in a mini bottle, but I wanted to try everything that I had bought.
When sniffing from the bottle I get a huge juicy pear smell. Not artificial, like sniffing an actual pear. It was gorgeous, however, I couldn’t detect anything else. I applied some to my wrist. Smelling my wrist after about 10 minutes this perfume had already developed more depth. The pear was still in evidence but had taken a back seat to the honeysuckle, which was being tempered by a slight nuttiness (I think this must have been the carraway seeds).
After about an hour more, it had become a rounded fully formed floral with smooth creamy undertones. It remained a slightly fruity, unctuously floral, very feminine fragrance. I think that this could be worn during the day on a cool summers day or during spring/autumn or on a balmy summers evening.
Knowing what the peridot stone looks like, I have to say that if it had a smell of it’s own this would be it. Somehow it fits.
