An elegant, fruity chypre, this is a dense, natural peach without the astringence sometimes associated with peach fragrances. Its a beautifully constructed perfume, with a gorgeous osmanthus and soft, vetiver that combined gives an smooth, supple apricot toned suede accord, thats so beautifully sublime that it’s almost tangible. The peach in this starts so gently, but like a grove in various stages of fruit, it grows, and then blooms into a luscious, fleshy peach, wrapped in a soft suede veil, lightly spiced with labdanum and enveloped so delicately in an ambrette embrace. Later, the fruit falls, giving a darker, more mature peachy aroma, enhanced by the tobacco and oud. It drys down to an earthy, musky, woody accord.
It’s worth noting that this an oil fragrance that transforms slowly, over many hours, and tends to bloom more strongly as it evolves. Longevity is very good with moderate sillage.

My sample is an oil. Oils develop slower on my skin.
An initial opening of gentle and very truthful Peach. This is, for me, a balance of sugars and citric and something ethereal, free from apparent synthetic enhancement. Sharp edges none. Slowly, I am drawn to whispers of flowers distinct, Osmanthus Apricotian Leather intertwined with the top of the White Rose profile. This has an effect of billowing the scent of the Peach and creating a canvas ready to accept a bump from a base of Labdanum and I suppose the “Dark” profile of Patchouli. For me the other notes mentioned are perhaps wrapped within the Labdanum Patchouli envelope.
In any case, the result for me is, a Perfume that shall hold high spot on my shelves for it’s ability to have me pause and stare at the Peach Tree and the Garden that surrounds.
Irina Adam has produced a fragrance here, that I could wear continuously for it’s honesty, integrity and natural beauty.
