A soft, perfect pink rose in bloom. For me, it is not sweet, nor juicy nor dark. It is precious. Think of little girls coming close to a rose and smelling it.
Done well!

Absolutely gorgeous, fresh, clean, non-soapy, sparkling bright elegant, sophisticated and just simply a lovely rose. Very nicely blended in the accords and the transitions.
Peony and Water Lily shine with bergamot in the opening. Rosy red heart blossoms with a whisper of cool magnolia. A gently understated Cedar/Sandalwood/Amber melange meld seamlessly to warm the floral in a very discreetly cozy way with a clean and subdued musk finishing this preciously tender composition. I love it. Paul Smith seems to work well on my chemistry and this one is another winner for me!

I love this version of Paul Smith rose. I have a problem with fruit scent (compared to the 2011 edition) so this is perfect for a diehard rose fan. Btw- can someone change the picture of the perfume? The one shown here is the 2011 edition which for a moment confuses me until I look at the notes.

This perfume lacks substance(pun intended). I feel so because, There is nothing else I could detect other than fresh RED ROSES when I first sprayed it. As I let this perfume sit on the sleeve and my wrist for an hour or two, it still smelt like fresh red Roses. After a day the perfume on my sleeve dried down to its driest and still- SMELT LIKE FRESH RED ROSES.
Second time around when I sprayed this perfume, the smell got way too familiar, boring and a bit nauseating to be frank.
Not for me. Although, anyone who doesn’t mind smelling like a walking red rose bouquet all day, then they might like it.
On the plus side, it’s got moderate sillage and is long lasting on clothes.
