Yes this is your “old school” leathery “masculine” chypre. It doesn’t have a powerful base so the Eau de Cologne designation seems right. The lavender is obvious but not in a fougere accord way, though there is a touch of amber to sweeten it up every so slightly. And the leather is mild though of a worn jacket type. Of course, there’s a nice sharp citrus at first. I wish I liked it better than I do but I prefer the oriental take on leather as one can find in The Knize Ten.
