Description

Designer John Galliano presented Parlez-Moi d’Amour in autumn 2010, followed by its Eau de Parfum version a year later. In 2012, Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche appears on the market. The new fragrance captures romance and longing with a breeze of fresh citrusy and floral accords.

The composition represents sensuality, vitality, joie de vivre atmosphere and youthful sophistication. It starts with an adventurous and stimulating blend of grapefruit blossom and ginger. The heart is a romantic thanks to accords of white roses, jasmine and white currants. Fresh cypress and musk in the base give the damp forest character to the composition.

The bottle retains the same form, this time decorated with green shades and silver cap. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Toilette.

Fresh and feminine. Perfect for summer days!
Originality? No, not at all, but that´s ok.
This is one of the best summerfragrances I have ever bought. It´s not too different from Clean, Rain. But a bit more complex, sweet and not as aquatic. And as all J G´s Perfumes, it has a delicate touch of rose in the background, I never liked rose before..
Highly recommend this, you can find it supercheap online. And even though this is´nt the most original perfume, it will not disappoint.

I received a sample and I was pleasantly surprised, just sprayed I feel very citrus, while over the hours the rose prevails .. at least on my skin!
A fresh, flowery perfume perfect for the day, a simple and versatile fragrance for a thousand occasions without being intrusive.
I do not know if I will buy it but surely it was a pleasant discovery!

Galliano hit it right in the head with this one, I cant believe such purity got out of that old sophisticated satyre’s hands.
If I could only wear a perfume in daytime spring, this would be it.
This is the most beautiful, airy and optimistic rendition of jasmine I have ever smelled.
Its clean and green without being screechy, coyingly sweet but still noticeable.
Its a portrait of a sweet and pure young lady who’s not aware of her charm, but that purity is her weapon because everyone wants it.
That being said, I love wearing this even though I’m quite passed that age:)
I can’t believe the price either. I hope they never stop making this beauty!

It has been eight hours since I first smelled and wore this perfume – courtesy of my classmate, who brought it with her to school and offered me a whiff and a spritz – and I have since then incessantly been sniffing the spot on myself where I sprayed it.
Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche is everything I desire to smell on a female – that includes myself. It is sweet, fresh and warm simultaneously. It makes me feel as though I can take on the world and be received with open arms – all because of how I smell. It also somewhat makes me wish I could date myself… – and every other woman who has chosen to wear this perfume!
This scent screams for a young, mature girl with a captivating smile and an easygoing personality – the type of girl who radiates security, happiness and softness.
I recommend Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche to those who wish to embark on the journey of life – individuality, sensuality, love and friendship….
…. Yeah. It is THAT deep because this scent is THAT good.

I don’t wear floral fruity scents often but this was quite enjoyable. A fresh candy scent suitable for adult crowd as well.
There is more to it than to average product of its kind. To me it was delicate, feminine, frilly scent of young jasmine, citrus, very finely milled, barely noticeable powder and a just a tiny bit of medicinal woods.
Very pastel, transparent and casual, clean, sweet and nice. Great for sunny weather.
I prefer fresh clean scents but with a stronger background and presence (harsher, perfumey and less girly, if these words work better), but this was just plain pleasant while it lasted.
Wears beautifully too – does not go too sweet and/or stale as it does with many fruity scents.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! This is one of my all time favorite fragrances…This is so bright and inviting & yet has a surprising bit of warmth to it. It is so easy to wear. Naturally sweet, aquatic, shower clean, Goodness, minus all the artificial fruits & flowers that accompany so many other scents that fit into this same family. Two spritz is all you need to leave you smelling beautiful and fresh for the entire day….I ABSOLUTELY Love This!

A simple little diddy of a perfume. Reminds me of the19th century toilette waters from France. The overall sense of this is a watery jasmine. Clean like the Mexican household cleaners at the 99cent store. I’m just glad that I own nothing like it, all my jasmines are strong. I do like the sour note similar to the quality of several perfumes in the Anna Sui line. The problem is it’s weakness. You have to spray clothing.
Update: There’s an ever so slight Bright Crystal type vibe that I now pick up.

I feel not grapefruit but grape gums(chemical flavor).
    But this doesn’t contain grape,why?
    I like fruity smell,but I don’t like this smell,too chemically for me.
Unlucky,so long lasting! It smells all night.

Just got my bottle today. Blind buy. Why do I keep doing this :-O? …Anyway, it’s not bad, but doesn’t work for me. Both spicy and fresh, but the ginger note really dominates.
After a while the scent becomes sort of sour-sweet (on my skin), very much like Pez candy.
    Lasts for hours though.

am I the only one who senses petrol or a gas like accent mixed with freshness? ..its like someone spilled shower gel over petrol…don’t know what to think…and this lasts and lasts forever …petrol all the way….awefull…sorry.

Grapefruit, white currant and jasmine. It does resemble a little bit MDCH L’eau but Parlez-moi d’Amour is more mature, white flowers are more prominent here and there is less powder in it. I think it is more similar to Lancome O d’Orangerie, of which it is sweeter and less white-floral.

Perfect perfume for spring and early summer. For those times, when nature starts blooming, but the mornings are still a little chilly. Really fresh and pleasant. There is nothing harsh or over-the-top in this perfume. All the fresh notes combined with a hint of musk make this a scent that is easy to wear, but doesn’t smell generic. The staying power is surprisingly good, since the citruses usually vanish immediately on my skin. The currants and the flowers tone down each other very well, so it’s not too flowery or too fruity.
It’s young, romantic, summery and innocent, in a good way. I think this would be a perfect perfume for a wedding.

Hidden gem here, if you are into citric fresh-spicy scents, like I am.
I was after a dupe for Miss Dior Cherie L’eau…well this isn’t the same, but similar. Spicier, not as soapy floral as the Dior…this one is zesty! If you are a fan of Dior Addict Eau Fraiche or Max Mara, you should like this. Actually this reminds me a LOT of Max Mara…which is fairly pricey.
However, it’s truly an Eau Fraiche, very light and airy, and not very lasting. I don’t mind respraying. This kind of scent puts me in a good mood and is very uplifting and energizing.

It takes me back to summer holidays at my grandparents house. Smells like delicious frozen berries dessert and fizzy homemade lemonade. So idyllic. I’m 10 years old again, my fingers are sticky from picking ripe, juicy white currant and I’m stuffing my face with all the goodness from my grandpa’s garden. It’s late August afternoon and air is heavy with smell of flowers, grass and fruits. It’s still hot but you can feel light cool breeze- sign of upcoming evening.
Parlez moi d’amour eau fraiche is DREAMY, sparkling scent of grapefruits and white currants mixed with sweet and naive jasmine- rose combo. Worth trying!

This one has grown on me. I didnt like it that much at first. It screams ginger and lemon, but it cools down after half an hour and just becomes lovely. This is my go-to scent in the spring – summer time.
Could maybe be worn as an unisex-fragrance.

I really like Parlez-Moi d’Amour, and this is definitely a proper Eau Fraiche. A bit zesty, a bit fruity, a bit green, a tiny bit aquatic, and very light. But it does last. I also get a slight plastic (vinyl, maybe?) vibe, similar to the same vibe I get from some Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes (Ma Dame, for example). And I adore the bottle design; envelope and stamp. Like mailing a letter to your love.
It’s very much a skin scent on me, but it surprisingly has good longevity. Very nice for spring.

Not very similar to Dior one.. maybe just a little. Perfect for spring, light, inoffensive, feminine. And the price is reasonable. Recommend this one 🙂

umm…it’s like miss Dior cherie l’eau, but more sweet and complex. and i like Dior much more~as you know, less is more!

I wanted to try on this perfume because so many people said it resembled miss dior cherie l’eau, my true love that has been discontinued… i was so excited when it opened up with the same white floral/citrus/animalic note as dior, that I haven’t found in any other perfume even if i’ve tried literally everything (people say about this note that it smells like aftershave, i would really like to know what aftershave they’re talking about). I wanted to buy it straight away. I waited and it evolved into something sweet but acceptable, but after half an hour, all that was on my skin was an intoxicating sickening sweet cough candy smell, which i think it’s the white currant/cypress combination. i would have bought it even if it had 0 staying power, but i can’t because of that sweet drydown.

lovely:) parlez moi d’amour is a very sparkly, fresh juice.
This “eau fraiche” sparkles with grapefruit and subtle heart notes of jasmine, rose and white currant lending sweetness and curves, but the main players (and my favourite part) is the androgynous/salty/woody/fruity beach vibe. It’s from the white currant, ginger and cypress combo that lend a sophisticated hefty fresh spicy and woody finish missing from similar fresh or citrus fragrances.
for a green sweet summery scent it’s got good longevity and sillage.
    scent: 8/10
    longevity: 5/10
    sillage: 5/10

I had a chance to try this on my skin, as it was on my wanted list, and happened to be on sale, where I was sampling fumes…. well I am glad I didn’t blind buy!!!
According to the notes, I should love this, I love fresh scents, rose, woody notes… so what’s not to love? I don’t rightly know, but after the initial fresh blast, a weird note… sour powdery note… anyway, as I sit here, some 7 hours later, all I am getting is a ozonic synthetic smell, kind of like a cleaning product (for toilets)…. not something I want to smell like.
I can’t detect rose, or any floral, just ozonic powdery cleaner note. I get the same effect from Oxygene by Lanvin… I used to love that one, but now it’s headache producing.
Also reminds me of body shop Oceanus… notes aren’t similar, but effect is identical, on me
Anyway, my final comment is, this is how my skin reacts to these notes, in cool weather, and its not for me

This scent has a sharp grapefruit at first mixed with the currents, then in the heart it is blended with a beautiful jasmine scent. Refreshing, light but lasts well. Good for any day time event or work, this will wake you up with the citrus and keep you sniffing all day long at the beautiful floral mix in the heart.

Nice and simple fragrance which has sweetness and freshness both in it. It’s also quite floral – there’s jasmine and rose.
The sweetness makes it a little weird, so I wouldn’t buy it.
    Okayish fragrance.

Hi Anita. I just purchased a stack of fragrances from Target yesterday, incidentally they seem to be clearing out their fragrances. I purchased the mini gift set of four. Only for the bottles, it was in fact a blind buy. However I am very happy that I did. It was . 9. Aussie dollars. Inclusive are the EDT’s 10 mills, ‘Encore’ and ‘Eau fraiche’, plus the EDP.
There’s about 20 or so unopened bottles of mainly EDP’s under my bed waiting for celebratory occasions to give them to myself as gifts. Well that’s my excuse for buying fragrances at irresistible and ridiculously cheap prices. I must actually stop my compulsive fragrance shopping habit. Online too.
This one I tried yesterday, actually last night.
Very green, somewhat reminiscent of ‘Chanel No 19’ upon first whiff, though not as metallic. Long lasting to, and soft, yet bold enough to enjoy when whiffing is close.
Newly mown hay came to mind along with cows and farms and a damp country side. Dairy country. More like early Autumn in farming country, anywhere on the planet, where these botanical scents mix with animal and earth scents.
This fragrance screams class and elegance. It has an expensive twist, the kind one gets with ‘Chanel’s ‘and the ‘Dior’s’ of the fragrance world. As this fragrance died down on me, it kept it’s unique aroma till the end. Linear I believe that is.
Will chat to you soonies, Anita. I promised I would mess age you back and I shall.
I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves the wholesomeness that marries country scents with sunshine and greenery.
    Cheers T.

An elixir of early spring! First green grass through a crispy, thin snow coat, fresh morning air, thoughts about a blooming jasmine and aromatic wood notes. A reminder that spring is on its way.
The opening might seem too strong, spicy (the ginger is dominant) and bitterly citrus-y, but that mixture calms down quite quickly and then I can start enjoying it – a freshly peeled grapefruit, some slices of ginger blended with this beautiful jasmine scent. It’s a lovely combination. I don’t get much of the white currant. The base- a light, “green” musk (if that exists). In the base I found the treasure of this scent – it’s a fresh, sugar free, careless and even innocent scent, but in the base there’s something capturing, sensual and so wild, trembling with desire. Makes me think about the scene in “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” where Constance runs naked under the strong rain -nature, instinct, freedom, love, sin and pleasure.
Update: I may be tolerating the opening, I enjoy the heart notes, but I absolutely adore the base -light, transparent citrus and aromatic wood note veil.
Update n0 2: Nope, I couldn’t really get over that opening, I sold the perfume. It’s a good one, but just not for me.

    Awesome jasmine!
A little girly and innocent fragrance that is so perfect for spring.
    Just wonderful, a happy scent!
Last about +5 hours on me and have a good sillage too.

Ohhh!! Magical perfume! Lightly fresh and…adorable. At first,I sprayed into my arm and thought: ‘such a linear citrus smell’. But after a while decided to spray it on my neck and an instant word hit me :delightful!:) I feel like I’m back to 18th century where the aristocracy existed. If you didn’t like from the first time it worth to try the second time, perhaps you’ll change your mind

Parlez Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche certainly lives up to its name. Fresh from beginning to end.
This is zesty. The grapefruit against the cypress gives it a fresh, sparkling clean feeling. I can see why it may come across as unisex in that aspect. However, the rose and jasmine is quite sweet and definitely feminine.
In Melbourne today it’s 42∘C outside, so perfect for this summer/spring scent. If you’re looking for a relaxing, refreshing scent that isn’t aquatic or too fruity, then this is worth a try.
The bottle and packaging are beautiful too. They bring back memories of writing long letters to my pen friends during my teen years, and of the simplicity and innocence of that time.

Could this be a revival of Miss Dior Cherie L’eau? Well Galliano was still with Dior when the green cherie was released, and Parlez-moi d’amour eau fraîche is pretty much in the same vein, just presenting more fruity notes, besides the zingy bitter-sweet citrus in the top notes. Galliano’s perfume is less powdery in the floral middle and showcases a creamy currant note with a slightly spicy twist which might be the only thing to make it differ decisively at this stage from Cherie L’eau. The cottony-soft musk base sums all up in a comforting and refreshing way, just as cherie l’eau does. Needless to say, I was pleased by the resemblance, as I was very disappointed when I found out the green Cherie was discontinued.
Longevity and projection are good enough and suitable for warmer weather. All in all this is a delectable floral-fruity fragrance which is definitely full bottle worthy, and what a pretty bottle it is!

For the life of me I don’t understand why this fragrance is so unpopular. I’m actually enjoying it, even though it’s nothing like the original, blueberry rich Parlez-Moi d’Amour from 2010.
Grapefruit is often a difficult note for me to wear, however in this fragrance it’s light and watery. On the skin, Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche wears like a crisp and icy fruity floral. Perfect for hot and humid weather.
I have a lot of time for the house of John Galliano. All his fragrances have a unique twist which makes them all the more lovable. I also have to mention the adorable bottles that these fragrances come in. This beautiful mint-green envelope shaped bottle, with the colourful, floral stamp is enough to make any woman ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’.
The grapefruit when paired with the soft, dewy jasmine accord in the heart, works a treat. Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche is really pretty and feminine. I’m actually close to buying myself a bottle for Summer, it’s that good.
I can sort of smell the white currant accord, however it doesn’t play a leading role in this composition. There’s a lot of jasmine, rose, grapefruit and ginger helping create a delicate yet fresh finish.
I think if I tried to wear this fragrance during Autumn or Winter, it would probably make me feel ill. However it’s the type of scent that I crave during the change of seasons, and I think it would work extremely well with the hot, arid climate in Australia.
The longevity is actually pretty good, as is the sillage, even though it does appear to be inoffensive for the most part. I will be testing Parlez-Moi d’Amour Eau Fraiche a few more times before deciding, but I’m hoping it will be a new Summer purchase for me.

It almost smells like Miss Dior Cherie L’eau or Giorgio Acqua di Gioia.I wish the long lasting power was like Dior too.by the way it’s a nice smelling perfume.to my nose grapefruit is very dominant.I don’t have much more to say about it,as these days most of green perfumes smell the same.

My first impression was: fresh manly aftershave scent, but that changed seconds later…
Smells like burst of freshness! Lotsa juniper, grapefruit and rose gives that good zaaang to it. Current and ginger mixed in there somewhere too. I mean those are all crisp ingredients anyways. Soft jasmine, white florals and musk for drydown. This creation is crisp, fresh and mucho juicy!
Manly at first, but feminine shortly after till the end. Unisex, both gals and boys will smell great wearing it. And it is awesome cause it’s Galliano, period!
