What can I say that hasn’t been said already?? If you adore roses and violets, this is your parfum. It never lets up, from the initial burst of bright orchestration of roses, roses, roses, and violets, violets, violets…it builds to a beautiful crescendo!…and 10 hours later it is still there, vibrating in the air. Next morning, apres shower, it lingers still…
What an incredible fragrance…
One of my favorites!!!

Mainly sugary rose and powdery violets. Doesn’t really seem to morph and has long staying power. Stronger than the eaux de printemps.

Nuit de Fete is a vibrant bouquet of roses and violets. I am often attracted to unusual and daring combinations but in this scent I love and appreciate the traditional interpretation of these two beautiful flowers. The scent is slightly powdery and rich floral with the sweetness that comes from the floral notes and creamy woods. The composition is lively, sunny, and charming. This lovely scent reminds me of a sunlit garden of roses somewhere in Southern France where the romance and love are in full bloom.
I smell violets and roses right away but in the opening there is also a noticeable and strong note of the orange blossoms, which could be a bit sharp. As time passes, the scent becomes a vibrant mix of roses and violets, smooth and creamy. The heart notes are slightly powdery and sweet but the scent is not sugary or synthetic. The scent has remarkable longevity. I get to enjoy this beautiful bouquet of violet and roses for hours. When the scent finally arrives at the dry down stage, it becomes lighter (more of a skin scent) with distinct woody notes. I think I mostly get sandalwood and light oakmoss note.
Overall score 8.5/10. If you love roses and sweet violets like I do, than Nuit de Fete will be a lovely treat

This is a beautiful scent~ rose petals and violets dipped in caramelized sugar….it makes me feel happy, pretty, and bright even on this dismal January day. One of my favorite notes, Violet, arrives immediately, freshened by Bergamot and sweetened by Orange Blossom- very beguiling! The Rose and Mimosa heart makes an entrance with a reserved Praline note in tow. At first I thought this was Vanilla, but after seeing its absence in the notes, I think it must be the Sandalwood. In any case, there is a round, full quality that brings Rochas’ Tocade to mind. (There are some similarities to Alien by Thierry Mugler as well, in scent and character, but Nuit de Fete replaces the grapey note of Alien with the aforementioned candies.) Rose, lightly entwined with Violet, is persistent throughout the entire composition. Even the base is a powdery Rose, a well-balanced dance between the warmth of Sandal and a fresh Musk. The imperceptible Oakmoss provides a an excellent fixative, as this scent lasts a good 8 hours. Sillage is outrageous, as in the original Paris, so go lightly!

This is a bit deeper rose scent as the regular Paris EDT. To me a bit warmer, but not powderly as the EDP.
Overall not very much different from the original floral composition.
Can smell the mimosa and violet with the roses, same sweet, maybe with a bit cinnamon I think all the time, but is not in the notes.
The warm scent stays for many hours and ends with the same woody drydown as the Paris EDT. An elegant perfume can use for special occasions.
Paris always remembers me to the weekends in Paris long ago, probably will love Paris forever.
