Description
Princesse Marina de Bourbon presents third in a raw of fragrances inspired by lily, this time by heavenly sort of Tiger lily, which alludes at exotics, heaven and sunny, summer colorite and aromas. Warm, pastel nuances and opulent, juicy composition of the new fragrance Paradise Lys arrive on the market in April 2009 presenting a heavenly twist of the house of Princesse Marina de Bourbon.
This olfactive challenge is full of zests and floral essences, created as summer harmony of flora and fauna of the Garden of Eden.
The perfume opens with sparkling and cheerful citruses, mandarin, grapefruit and tagetes. A heart abounds with fresh nuances of bamboo, green apple, passionate raspberry, peach and gourmand cinnamon. Floral union of lily of the valley with rose elegance leaves a dominant floral seal on the fragrance. Base notes introduce earthy, woody mixture of woody accords, amber and musk.
Paradise Lys arrives in a flacon of the same form as its antecedents dedicated to lily, characteristic of the house of Princesse Marina de Bourbon. Shaped like Lys from 2005, decorated with pale violet liquid and even airier, elegant Eau de Lys from 2006, which smells like romance and innocence, the new flacon of Paradise Lys reveals a whole new world and completely different colours, which are lively and pastel.
Bright orange, sun-bathed liquid, with orange stopper, the flacon of the new perfume perfectly represents exotic of this edition. Outer carton of Paradise Lys is decorated with Tiger lily flowers, showing birds of heaven.

I got this as a sample and it smells so…fresh and clean. This is the cleanest scent I have ever smelled so far. Now is that a good thing? Well, depends on your taste. Personally, I do like it but some might disagree.
Alex-To-Hell – :
Grapefruit is the queen note here, but not in the typical sour way (like I Love love by Moschino) but in a sweet and joyful way. I thought I loved it, but it’s a bit synthetic.

Maybe for some it’s a mood lifter and a happiness in a bottle, but to my nose it smells exactly like the orange car freshener in my car….sharp and acrid, which fortunately lacks any staying power. I can’t believe something like that came out in this extremely competitive fragrance market! What the hell! Mine is either headed for the garbage or i might use it as the same car freshener…the hefty bottle could probably be used successfully as self-defense weapon too. Just trying to think of ways to get at least half of my money’s worth.

Smells like happiness, with all those bright citrus notes, and then comes a powdery softness.
Great scent to get a body moving on a chill, slow day. Energizing, at first. Then mellows.

Oh, this one…
Paradise Lys has very nice notes if you look at them.
The fragrance itself has very a la ‘paradise’ style smell, but, unfortunately, like majority of fruity florals it dies fast to barely detectable sweet blend of peach, cinnamon and florals. I sprayed it to my wrist about 5 times, pity it’s sillage isn’t that great.
Top notes besides it’s nice fruity blend has also a note of hair conditioner Gliss Kur Liquid silk something.
P.S. Tagetes is very prominent on my sleeve, very warm, original note. I like it.
