Description
“Inspired by the great Paracelsus, a headstrong physician, magician, mystic and intellectual warrior. I first learned of Paracelsus as a young girl and where most girls my age were playing with their Barbie dolls and sneaking a tube of moms lipstick, I was reading and exploring the world through words. Paracelsus the perfume is an unapologetic dark tobacco rose essence wrapped in an earthy moss dipped veil.
Notes Include: Bergamot, Alpha Ionone, Rose Absolute, Ylang Ylang, Rose Geranium, Cepes, Dark Chocolate, Tobacco, Cedar, Patchouli, Amber Accord, Ambrette Seed Musk, Woods, Vanilla, Pine Moss.” – a note from the brand.
The nose behind this fragrance is Liz Zorn.

Blinded by unrequieted love for the village maiden, his fury grew until he resorted to the dark arts. The warlock was wrapped in a resinous smoke coming up from the soot darkened pot. His spell was taking form as he added mystical ingredients. A rose laid beside the cauldron, a symbol of his obsession, and the key to the spell. As he placed it in the brewing magic, there was a thunderous hush.
The portal was opened and his desire was given human form. It burst forth cloaked in all the elements of his enchantment.
Tobacco, made mysterious with oakmoss. Patchouli and cedar, arcane catylists. The siren call of sweet ylang-ylang, spiced with geranium and having the magic of elven mushrooms. Glowing with the golden haze of amber and vanilla. And the rose . . . suffused with love. It’s face finally coalescing into her face. The spell was complete. It’s enchantment flawless.
I love this! Brilliant rose smoke open, mezmerising patchouli drydown. It really does smell magical!
