Commodity Paper reminds me of an ointment when first applied. It’s not bad, but that opening transitions quickly withing seconds and smells just like…you guessed it, paper – ruled notebook paper to be exact. It’s certainly not a bad scent (pleasant enough and actually interesting in an artistic way) but I’m left questioning, “Why?”
Why would anyone wish to smell like paper? Just open a 200-sheet pack of ruled notebook paper and experience the real thing. And why would someone want to smell paper on your skin? Do they have a paper mache fetish? Or perhaps it’s a fragrance for women who have another type of fetish. One in which she dresses like a school-girl, complete with pony-tails, in the hope of seducing her teacher. The smell of notebook paper only adds to the mystery and excitement.
Anyway, Paper sits extremely close to my skin and lasts only one to two hours. I appreciate the art behind making this scent, but it’s not something I can wear and it just doesn’t perform. I hope others have better luck with this fragrance.

Granted i’ve only used paper in the sample version it’s an almost clear imperceptible clean smell. It’s something you’d want to put on before going to bed, not cloying or overpowering.

This smells exactly like its name. I sprayed it on paper to test it and I cannot smell anything at all. A shame because I was looking forward to this. Better luck with the rest of them.

Their website offers a great deal whereby you can sample all of the fragrances for one gender for free of you agree to buy 10ml of one of the fragrances for $24US Which sounds like a really good deal…..
I may be hooked. Their fragrances sound great and not ridiculously expensive.
