GGRREEKK – :
Out at the Opera is a very smooth fragrance with uncommon smell suitable for cool weather day and night. It leans towards feminine scents.
This is not an oud scent. Dominant notes are leather and jummy rose. Other strong notes are saffron and musk. It has also mild woody notes.
Long lasting scent with moderate sillage and strong projection for about the first hour. Beautiful but feminine imo.
Update
After some full wearings I must correct my first impression. First of all it feels unisex . The feeling is the same as in Happy Clinique, Hermes Jardin Toit etc. And secondly there are more notes than those lissted. I get the same fruitness as in Novaya Zarya Smorodina. So it must have red currant. And definitely at the background there’s something orangy, very faint plum and fresh but toned down cinnamon. It is masterfully blended you must focus on its smell to feel more things. I’ll try again their scents.

Like other ouds – spray with care! One time is just right.
I like Maison Francis Kurkdjian “Oud Satin Mood” very much, only I sense too much gourmet in the MFK perfume.
Out at the Opera however is quite close to the comforting vibe I know from Oud Satin Mode, only without the heavy (cheap?) gourmet.
This scent is extremly sensual, deep, sexy and disturbing. Actually all I could wish for when chosing an oud perfume.
You know the feeling when you put a paper-test strip in a purse or pocket and a few days later you pull something out of the purse and you wonder what smells so good?
Out at the Opera plays this pleasant surprise extremly well.
The reason why I have not bought it – YET – is that the sales assistent sprayed the perfume on my skin and she sprayed 2 times! 😮
Way too much! (I went through the same thing with MFK Out Satin Mood, once)
The scent is a beautiful composition, but too much on your skin makes you want to wash it off.
That’s what I did.
It’s a thin line, a very thin line!
So, spray with caution otherwise you might miss a great scent.
Scents like this one would be perfect if they were to come in 30ml or 50ml bottles.
100ml is just way to much. I don’t see myself finishing a 100ml bottle. How? 😉
I lack the capability to describe what I smell, I can only say that while writing this review, I find myself sniffing on my wrist again and again and again. It is highly seductive.
As I said before: extremly sensual, deep, sexy and disturbing – in a provocative way. Nice!
I hope this scent gets more attention. It deserves it!
PS: I checked the perfumers website: Out at the Opera is NOT identical with Glamourous Oud!
