Blind-bought this one after seeing the comparisons to Oud Ispahan. I disagree with the comparison, but don’t regret the buy.
In my opinion, the floral notes of OI have been replaced with fruit in this, but the Oud is just as powerful (maybe more so).
I agree with the reviewer (@Beatnik) who said this was ‘thick’ and ‘fat’. I LOVE bold, brash Oud frags, but this one is almost too much. Right after buying it I sprayed my wrist and smelt a fizzy, fruity smell, assumed that was all I was going to get and spritzed myself all over out of disappointment. HUGE MISTAKE. The fizzy fruit turns, almost magically, into heavy, oily Oud which just gets deeper and thicker and heavier as time goes by. I had to spend the rest of my day apologizing to my colleagues for their headaches…
That being said, in the right amounts this is lovely. Yes, its for men and yes, I’m female and in my 20s, but I still enjoy wearing it. I feel part-powerful, part-mysterious and part (oddly) comforted.
My only criticism is (aside from the fizzy, fruity bit which I am not a huge fan of) is a weird and completely subjective one: this smell makes me sleepy. I always regret wearing it to work because I’m almost inevitably exhausted by midday (all of the sniffing?). Lovely for home and dinners though!
    Longevity off the charts.

This is a dark, dry, sultry, Arabian-like fragance. Nothing remotely sweet or gourmand (do not be cheated by the raspberry, the orange and the caramel listed in the pyramid, beacuse those notes are barely noticeable). As other reviewers as noted before, this is very similar to Oud Ispahan -being this one more rosy-like and brighter- and Oud Palao -more cosmetic and leaned to the sweet pipe tobacco-, but consting only a fraction of the aforementioned perfumes. The most noticeable notes to my nose are a dry, very Eastern-like rose, oud (though not mentioned among the official notes), patochouli and leather (neither this one present). At one point, it turns soapy, and recalls some perfume of the 80’s or early 90’s. Good with cold, damp weather. Good performance.
Great value for the price, but only recommended for those ones leaned to unusual, potent fragances.

old aunties need to wear something right?
lol this perfume is just scream old, im 26 years old and feel i can never pulled this of.
cant put the finger exactly about the problematic note maybe they go too heavy on the rose.

This stuff is good. If you have Bond 9 New York and jave not smelled this yet then this is what it’s similar too. It’s not as pungent as Bond9NYO. It’s worth it.

Just got this for fun since it cost me only $10.
Made me regret my purchase of my 250ml vintage Oud Ispahan since this is at least 85% similar in terms of the scent just sweeter and less skanky.
Luckily Projection, Sillage and Performance only matches 1/4 of my Oud Ispahan (single spritz to the hand).
I’ll still wear this though. Excellent juice still!
Update: Did a full wearing today after I wrote this review and surprisingly it can match my Vintage Oud Ispahan by at least 95% in terms of Smell (less skanky and sweeter), Sillage and Performance. Mine is a 2014 bottle according to the shopkeeper because it’s an old stock they’re trying to get rid off. Fully recommended for those who love Oud Ispahan but doen’t want to pay the Dior price!

Wow wow wow, I am so impressed. Okay, let me just say real loud and clear, IF YOU LOVE OUD/LEATHERY FRAGRANCES, YOU NEED THIS. And yes, I would definitely say if you have been wanting Oud Isaphan, just scratch that and get this. It’s not dead on, but it is definitely similar enough to satisfy a good amount of people (including me). I think I also want to say this has a similar feel to Aoud Melody by Montale (in which my husband loved but I swapped.. gosh I’m a mean wife). Howeverrr, this is super similar and he is already threatening to claim as his own, but I said we had to share. THIS is a steal at the price of around 20 dollars.
Oh, one last thing, this should be marketed as unisex. I’m a woman and love it.

Advance Warning: This going to be a rave!
Frank Olivier’s Oud Touch is a lot of smell good for not a lot of money! Not only does it smell wonderful it also doesn’t tease and then leave you! This scent sticks around! O.T. is a very pleasing nighttime /cooler temperature fragrance, wearing it on hot or humid day would just feel wasteful! I’m more than pleased by this fragrance than a few of the pricey ones I’ve purchased! In a single word summation:Delicous! Oud Touch does it’s job quite well! Whether anyone else will feel the same as I do is a matter of person style & tastes, but I find this fragrance to be a total nose pleaser! Exotic, delicious, becoming are it’s three top attributes! No cons experienced yet! Hope you try it and are just as pleased!

What a beautiful dry down!! OMG!! 8 hours longevity on me!! The opening remains me a little bit of English Loundry Windsor!! But just the first minute, then something special happens!! It’s the same situation like Mugler Angel man openin that is something strange but if you wait for the dry dawn you get a masterpiece!! Same case here with Oud Touch!!!!
    **Update**
I receive a bottle of Franck Olivier Oud Vanille and Jesus!! Another masterpiece!! Very similar to Oud Touch but mor unisex for the vanilla!! Two Gems Here!!

It doesn’t fill the rooms and bla bla bla, its nice and soft! But like many reviewers below said it has no longevity and sillage , yes i confirm that!!

I received the 100ml bottle of this fragrance as part of a much larger order.
    I’m glad I did….it’s a great fragrance.
One spray on bare chest under shirt.
A bit seductive….not shallow. Not familiar.
    Deep.
    Fat.
    Thick.
Many thick colors of browns and black..enveloping a small sphere of crimson and purple grey.
There is absolutely no yellow or white. No blue .
    I like this fragrance.
    It’s mysterious and dark
    Just like me.
    The Verdict: I dig it.

I had at first just sprayed this on paper, and decided I couldn’t possibly ever wear that. Too sweet and insistent. But luckily I gave it another chance and put it on my skin where it is much more interesting. There is a nice evolution, and particularly a dry down I really like.
What I mainly get is frankincense, rose, caramel, and… burnt plastic. Or maybe we could call that medicinal oud. It is odd, but it doesn’t make me not like it. The combination is still intriguing and somewhat addictive. And I really like the sweet incense it ends up as.
The sillage is powerful. I put one small spray on my arm and my wife yelled from another room a minute later. Luckily it turned out she really liked it. Despite that she also smelled the plastic thing. She wants it for herself. And, I agree, this is easily unisex.
EDIT: I don’t smell plastic any longer. Very nice to wear, and it lasts really long. 24 hours after I put on a couple of sprays under my shirt I can still smell it and my wife mentions it appreciatively.

Wow, IMHO, this fragrance smells impressive on first squeeze. I was expecting to be grossed out like with other Franck Olivier fragrances, but no. The overall smell is sharp and bright, but in a good way. It has sweetness to it, too. It’s not a heavy scent overall. It is light, but very fragrant.
I’m wearing Ferrari Essence Oud on my other arm and that one smells thicker and classier, and has a cacao note when drying down. Oud Touch smells less well-blended, and I can tell it will become a skin scent much sooner, but the fragrance at first glance is the more likeable to my nose. The oud is easier to accept. I don’t get a baby powder vibe to it, and I think a woman could pull it off due to the sweet note and the lighter overall scent.
The rose is blended with everything else, so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. It works. It’s not that chemical, cloying rose note from other fragrances, but what you smell on the flower. I usually ignore the notes pyramid and trust my nose and brain to give me the low down, but if people mention a note a lot, I will sniff and sniff and won’t quit until I find the note to see if they’re crazy or I’m crazy. It’s fun!
Oud Touch has a note from Franck Olivier’s Sun Java. It’s in the base. I don’t know what it is, but it’s that doll-like, cheap-smelling powdery note that starts appearing when drying down. It works better here, though, and gets better while drying down. Sun Java makes me nauseous for some reason after the awesome top notes vanish in a couple minutes.
I blind-bought this based on the Fragantica reviews, and I will keep it. It’s the type of blind buy that even if you don’t love it at first, it can grow on you once you read other people’s reviews and start investigating the fragrance with patience. It’s not an instant gift-away, money-down-the-drain thing! God bless!
EDIT: 8 hours later, Ferrari Essence Oud became a skin scent on my left bicep 6 hours ago, while Oud Touch keeps projecting from my right bicep to my nose even though it has completely dried down. Impressive!

Carbon copy of Dior’s Oud Isphan.
Performance and longevity is no where near as long or as potent as old formulation Isphan but at bargain prizes over the internet who is complaining?
    Worthy cheapie…

People who say the longevity of this perfume is weak / moderate must be having /tested the FAKE BOTTLE .. this thing lasts for atleast 8 hours and remain skin scent for 24 hrs plus .
Silage is just wow , fills the room with just 2 sprays .
    And smells BEAUTIFUL !
    10/10 for me

Following the rave reviews, I decided to test this bargain out. On first whiff, I thought it smelled good….after a little bit I smelled it again, and again, and again.
I agree with Senzadite…where is the oud in the pyramid. Oud is addicting…this is not. The combination in this mix is dizzying…not intoxicating….and there lies the difference between this bargain and high nitch fragrances… it is nice but cloying…..and definitely not addictive.
    I have a headache.

This is really nice for a $2O fragrance, and last a long time on my skin(10hrs).This out performs my Ralph Lauren Supreme Oud.I just picked up Robert Olivier’s Oud Vanille on Ebay for $35, and i just love it.The Vanilla really tames the Oud down on that one.

  17. :

actually really decent for $20. Smells alot more expensive and does last a long time with great sillage if you spray it like 10 sprays.

This thing is unbelievably beautiful with unbelievable cost.
The scent is so nice. Fruity and smokey.. I detect raspberry, frankincense, amber, rose..
The bottle/packaging looks so cheap but the fragrance smells super expensive.
    For 15 $ / 100 mL, Sure I will stack more bottles.

This mis my honest review ever! This has pretty good smell than dior oud ispahan, it is more wearable than DOI trust me guys it was a blind buy,& i’m glad that i bought this fragrance,
You’ll get a niche quality for 10€ !!! Really shocking!!
Guys trust me buy this gorgeous fragrance and you’ll know what i’m talking about, it’s smells like DOI,but not inoffensive like OI it’s enjoyeable, pleasent.
And it has a really good longevity and sillage, 7H/8H & 3H progection
In the dry down it reminds a little bit of gucci oud, maybe because of the raspberry!!
Go and check it out! Or u know what? buy it immediately!

I applied this liberally on the upper body, arms, and neck – 5 sprays total. I was pleased to see that while the fragrance’s opening was harsh and disjointed, it did not smell cheap either. It came off as a bit sour and synthetic, but no more so than many of the fragrances favored by the younger crowd at any dance and drink place on a typical weekend. After about twenty minutes to settle in, the fruit & caramel stepped forward to be joined a little later by the florals. Projection and sillage were more than respectable while the over all effect came off as light and almost fizzy. It took me a few minutes to make the connection but when I did I realized that I now smelled for all the world like the local supermarket brand cola on that first sip from the can immediately after opening it. It was kind of cool actually and I can’t say that it was unpleasant or that I didn’t enjoy it. It had to be the caramel and mild sweetness. Ultimately, the whole thing dried down to a warm, amber scent with a hint of incense and powder that just lasted and lasted. No exaggeration… a solid 10 hours on skin with no respray. At under $17 shipped to my door, I have to say this fragrance is a stone cold bargain that punches way over its class. I’ve tried fragrances that cost 5 times more that I didn’t enjoy half as much. I could definitely see this as a daily wearer if, for example, you are on a budget or you work in a uniform and don’t want to burn your more expensive frags but you still want to smell nice. Is this a $300 fragrance for $17 bucks? Ehhhhh… no. But it is more than capable of holding its own with most of the popular, modern synthoscents flying off department store shelves in the $100 range. I can give this one a total recommend as a safe blind buy.

Franck Olivier scores another victory in his “Touch” series! Blue Touch is on par if not better than ADG. Black Touch is a winning cross between Encre Noire and TDH. Now, maybe even better than the other two comes Oud Touch. For the price this might be the best oud based fragrance I’ve ever put my nose on. The fruit, raspberry / Orange seem to keep the Rose is check in a more masculine way. The frankincense is beautifully smoothed by the amber and while no oud is listed in the note pyramid, whatever accord Olivier deploys as oud does not come off as medicinal or barnyard-ish. This is a great price for an amazing fragrance. Highly recommended that you add this gem to your collection! I’m getting two before they re-formulate or discontinue this one.

Just reviewed this fragrance on YT. This fragrance is one that I slept on for while, then the prices went up from $15 to $30/$40. I guess the cat is out of the bag lol. To some, they will say it is okay and it is not niche quality etc., etc., etc.
Moreover, I think it is hard to find tons of fragrance that do what this scent tries to do at this price point.
The smell of this fragrance did an excellent job of using the orange and raspberry notes to subdue the polarizing note of rose. Basically, it gets MILDLY sweet. Maybe it is the caramel and raspberry working together. I say it’s raspberry to my nose.
Thus, this does not come off as your “run of the mill” oud and rose combo. Next, the resin, amber, and vanilla turns this into a saffron smelling fragrance. Finally, it ends in a semi sweet rose leather fragrance that lasts way past its price.
Not for everyone, because of its unisex appeal. However, anyone in the market to get a nice oud fragrance that is not barnyard-ish or medicinal will enjoy this budget friendly pick up.

This is Oud Ispahan 2.0. For a fraction of a cost. Stock this up before it gets discontinued or reformulated. I find opening sweeter than the dry down. Dry down smells all oud (with a bit of sweetness though). Super long lasting on my skin and it lasts for days on clothes. Deadly projection and great sillage.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

To my nose, this isn’t an “oud-themed” frag. The perceptible notes are mainly sweet, ambery, woody and a wispy dose of musky feel. For lovers of Opus VI (an Amber themed frag), give this a trial! It also has some nuances to Amouage Gold!
Like “tobmanoud” aptly noted, longevity, projection and silage very excellent. This is a niche frag in its own right!

I’m a big fan of Oud scents and Oud Touch is no exception. Just picked up my bottle on 10th May 2017 for my birthday and this is absolutely amazing.
The Opening Blows my mind away.
It’s reasonably priced and I’m still discovering her touches.
It has a smokey dry down.
I’m getting about 12 hours plus even after a shower. I love it. My girl loves it gettin her one for her birthday in July.

This is just amazing! Words can’t describe how good this fragrance is. Ok here’s the thing, it is not over priced, it smells awesome and it lasts forever. What is there not to like about it. One of my favourite Incense based fragrance. It is smoky with a hint of sweetness in the dry down. It is an underrated gem. I like that it doesn’t have the hype that will drive so many people to it and eventually cause a reformulation. 4.5/5 for this one.

I have learnt the hard way not to buy a fragrance based on reviews. This one is not as good as portrayed here. It smells like incense. I am trying to force myself to like it because I paid for it,my wife doesn’t like it either.
The dry down is better than top notes but still not good enough.
    Update(19th April 2016):

I’m a newbie here and generally new to analyzing perfumes. This one is awesome in the sense that it smells good and high quality. Doesn’t smell synthetic and you’ll never be able to guess the price. I get about 12hrs longevity on my skin and that’s awesome judging the temperature in West Africa, but it only projects well within the first 4 hours, after that, it’s mild, subtle and close to the skin.
I got this about 4 days ago and I’m still testing. For now, this is my rating:
    Longevity: 9/10
    Sillage: 6/10
    Scent: 8/10
    22/2/16
Okay, after several days of testing, I think I have a better opinion about this frag. It is very long lasting like a normal eau de Parfum should last. Just when I felt the scent didn’t make it through the whole day on my skin, I went to bed after a long day’s work, woke up the following morning and boom!!!….my nose is reactivated and the first thing it picks up is my own scent. Now members of my family think I reek of the scent and they love it. I’m still not sure about the projection, I think it’s an arm’s length thing after the first 4 hrs.

Just like its brother Black Touch, Oud Touch doesn’t disappoint. I’m still amazed by the price / quality ratio that Franck Olivier delivers with each of his perfumes. Oud Touch smells expensive and niche like. The Oud Ispahan comparison is valid.
Oud Touch starts with a short lived gourmandy mix of Raspberry and Caramel, that beautifully transforms into a strong but comforting mix of Patchouli, Amber, Rose, Musk and Incense. It’s well balanced and the blend of the ingredients gives the impression of Oud.
It’s dark, mysterious, a little bit sweet, and smooth. Really good!

This one is a beautiful gem, very long lasting, very good projection and the price is a steal. I find it very similar to Christain Dior Oud Ispahan.
Ofcourse, Oud Ispahan is more complex, pronounced and animalic, however, this one really gives similar nuances at a very reasonable price point. Definetely worth checking. It surely deserves a lot more attention from frag community.
This gem was realeased during beginning of 2015, surprising, it got updated so late on fragrantica database.
I got lucky to bump into this beauty right after its release in Dubai, have been enjoying and loving it since then.
