After stumbling upon this scent during a random stroll of our local shopping mall, I had no idea it would leave such a standout, lasting impression.
What a splendid fragrance it is, with a very pure, clean variation on the leathery/suede accord. Smells very much like new gloves, new shoes, or perhaps new car upholstery. But the oud is nevertheless there to give it a woody edge and to keep the entire presentation from smelling too “synthetic” or “chemical.”
Clean, classy, pungent, and ideal for a clean-shaven, well-dressed mid-30’s or older man. Lingers on fabric nicely, with above average projection and longevity. Best for fall or winter months, business/professional or formal.
    Well done!

Very Warm and Masculine…It has moderate sillage and my wife loves it because it gives off a Manly vibe. In my opinion year round even though its perfect for Fall/Winter. I’m a lover of Ouds so this is a pleasant surprise from the Art of Shaving.

Really nice, warm and mature scent. The name is actually quite fitting as this scent has the deep, rich fragrance one expects from modern oud scents, and the softness and subtlety implied by the suede. This opens up very warm with the oud and saffron shining thru, and traces of woodsy notes. It doesn’t evolve too much, except it gets a bit softer and a touch powdery. Thankfully, the lavender and patchouli prevent it from going all out into a powdery, sweet mess, and the scent settles into a very comfortable low-musk with traces of vetiver and oud. Overall, it’s become one of my favourites since I purchased it a couple of months ago at the Art of Shaving boutique, and is ideally suited for the autumn and winter months. The only great difference between this and some of the other comparably priced oud scents ($110 USD at the boutique) is that this stays warm and pleasant, almost like a good sandalwood fragrance, and never gets sweet or stale despite its average silage and great longevity.

Fresh fougere-leather with a very transparent commercial nutty-oud accord (not the dry-woodsy kind). It’s okay…not bad.

This really surprised me after trying in store. I have a collection of over 100 ouds. Either full bottles, partials or decants. I’m an oud lover. I have to say if I tried every one of them blind, This would be in my top 10 ouds regardless of price. Id like to have a bottle of it to see what it can do in 2 or 3 wearings.. But so far, impressed
