Late to the party here. I agree that this is a fairly smooth blend. The oud is slightly sharp and the citrus comes off a bit powdery. It definitely reminds me of something else, but I’m drawing a blank as to which one. As many have mentioned, the performance is unacceptable for such an expensive fragrance. Normally I don’t care – but this doesn’t just become a skin scent, it actually disappears. Maybe an hour? So yea, nice scent but hard pass.

This is getting a lot of very good reviews but am confused..
Maybe my skin chemistry but it comes off very powdery, yeah a powerdy bergamot with hardly any oud, its pleasant and wearable but nothing special just like most of the jo Malone line.

This has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances. The opening is the stuff of legends. The initial blast of bergamot is quickly backed up by one of the most enjoyable (non-challenging) Oud notes I have ever smelt. Then comes the cedar which gives it a musky-woody vibe that leans masculine.
Longevity is interesting, the first time I tested it at a Sephora I must have become anosmic because I swore it was gone in 5 minutes. However, I tested it again at a Neiman Marcus one afternoon and it lasted a good 12 hours. My wife even commented on it the next morning when I woke up. I returned to the store to purchase a full bottle that day.
I will say that it sits closer to the wearer, within an arms length for the first couple of hours after application. After that I feel like it leaps off my skin at random intervals (the influence of ISO E Super, maybe?) Anyway, it’s not for those who want to cast a scent bubble 10 feet around themselves for the entire day. This is a remarkably enjoyable, close sitting scent.

This smells amazing, fresh sweet orange and heady scent, but it lasted barely 10 minutes for me?! I tested it and it was gone so fast, I could barely believe it. Really disappointed. I would have gotten it otherwise.

This is a damn good scent. Very well done, I am surprised by Jo Malone. Usually ouds are strong, but this… It Smells like power over a woman, when she smells you. Sophisticated fresh. I’m a man reviewer, it leans more masculine. The longevity could be better, the only issue. Its well worth a try though.

This one is like a road flare…burns bright for about 30-45 minutes, then is gone..I tried it this morning…opening was awesome…then I got a blast of Iso-E Super while driving to work. Now that I am here…I can barely smell anything on my skin.
Too bad…this scent makes an excellent first impression.

I went to test this out on my skin, and I LOVE it. This cologne really smells decadent and unique. It’s fresh but spicy, and it really warms up on my skin beautifully. It also has phenomenal silage.

Gorgeous fragrance, I got the cedar tones right away. For me, that is just stunning, so fresh. Love!

  10. :

Absolutely the most stunning fragrance from Jo Malone. Tragically, it lasts all but 20 MINUTES and then POOF, gone!
such a tragedy! If it weren’t for the abysmal, almost non-existing longevity it would be one of my top 5 colognes EVER.
I’m in tears over this one!
    Scent – 11.5 out of 10!
    Longevity 1.5/10
    silage 2.5/10

Am I the one among a few other people that finds this one long lasting??? Really, it lasted almost all day on my skin and clothes! It also smells like an expensive “Intense” fragrance for sure, but not overpowering or headache inducing.
Beautiful, simply fresh Bergamot, warm and sweet Oud (definitely an UNISEX fragrance).

Beautiful light oud cologne from the intense cologne series that is great to wear if you find other oud fragrances in the market too strong to wear but love the scent. The citrus notes does give the scent a more fresh and light smell that makes the fragrance very wearable for both day and night anytime of the year. The great thing about Jo Malone perfumes is that they can be mixed with each other to create unique scents. When the Oud & Bergamot was paired with Peony & Blush Suede, it created a more spicy floral scent with a slight sweetness but the oud is still noticeable. I love this perfume!

Instantly loved the scent but it does not seem to last on me, not even 10 minutes. If only it lasts longer, this would have been my favorite Jo Malone scent.

  14. :

    5 out of 5

Fresh oud. It’s a great simple summer fragrance–the oud makes it far more interesting than most citrus-based stuff. It lasts fairly long for a Jo Malone fragrance and projects well for that time. I might actually get a bottle even though it’s more expensive than it should be.

  15. :

    5 out of 5

It’s a cross between John Varvatos Vintage/Bond No 9 Sutton Place, and Creed Aventus. Probably better than all of those fragrances

  16. :

I really really love this fragrance but I wish it would last on me 🙁 the scent makes u smell like rich, but I think there are other alternative that will last longer than this. I am just emptying the bottle. Will not repurchase

Oh how I love thee!!! Oud & Bergamot is so perfect in its simplicity. If you love Oud this is a scent you need to try. Perfect balance of sweet and the dark mystery of Oud.

    Scent: 10/10
    Projection: 8/10
    Longevity: 8/10

Others have said that this last longevity, but I was pleased with the longevity. It was over 6 hours that I was still catching whiffs of it. The projection wasvery light in that others really couldn’t smell it in me just by me standing near them, but honestly I’d rather wear it as a more personal scent anyways.

Another great Jo Malone offer. Not a complicated fragrance it just smells very very good.
Layers great with Mancera’s Aoud Vanille

  21. :

    4 out of 5

It truly is a really wearable, fresh oud scent.
The oud note is really easy to wear, I think it will appeal to those who usually don’t like oud or have problems wearing oud. It’s stronlgy “westernised”.
The citrus notes give it a fresh and energising touch.
Sadly, the longevity and intensity are so poor…

  22. :

    5 out of 5

The cent ia beautifully made. Just amazing. Bought a bottle when smelling it in the jo malone store. But seriously. It’s just WAY to weak and the sillage is next to nothing. The longevity is zero! What a scam

  23. :

This is an earthy woodsy scent. When I smell it, I think of a walk in the woods on a late fall day. Doesnt project much for me, but it’s a comforting, very natural scent.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

This smells like the typical one-diminesional, thin, tangy oud found in cheap niche fragrances like Montale. Its fine if thats all your budget allows, but oud connoiseurs are advised that there is nothing to see here.

  25. :

omG – it’s hard for me to wear Oud
even though I love it – but this one
seems like a [not keeper but] wearer!

This stuff smells amazing. Though they do not smell alike, it shares a few characteristics with D&G’s The One. Warm, soft, slightly fruity, well blended, and they both seem to last a few minutes. I’d also wear it in the same scenarios I would wear The One, but I’d say this one is more refined. The two of them are among a small number of fragrances I will wear despite knowing they won’t last, simply because they smell that good the whole way through
I can definitely see why a few people get Aventus mid-notes from this, it somehow has that same, juicy, smoky quality that comes out once the fruity notes in Aventus dry down. Perhaps a bit warmer and drier, though.

  27. :

A great casual and soft oud, with a dry woodiness due to the cedar note (which i love in this) and some sweetnes. It’s like a mix between PM-Aqaysos and Byredo-Super Cedar. Maybe a touch of Kilian-Straight to heaven. A great scent. Quite masculine i think.
Even though some complain, and I do take their word for it, this last an extremely long time on me. Over 24 hours! I love this scent.

excellent scent with the worst performance. You can barely smell it even after 20 mins.
edit : after use it a few times, stillhas performance issue but surprisingly it is coming back after a while and gone again. on and off during a few hours. oh my! i like this smell.

I’ve never been into layering fragrances but earlier today I sprayed this on and topped it with another JM, Incense and Cedrat and the combo was REALLY REALLY good! Trust me, try it out and thank me later.
Longevity was still garbage, but my gf commented that it smelled AMAZING. Which is saying a lot bc she’s usually my toughest critic and rarely likes my fragrances.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

The scent is beautiful, perfectly blended. But seriously the longetivity And sillage is so poor that it’s sad. I mean even if you sprayed yourself And your clothes with half of the bottle Nobody would notice It after 30 minutes.

  31. :

It’s very difficult for me to find a fragrance I like. I’m very sensitive to strong perfumes so I normally choose colognes with natural, subtle and light smell. In my life, I never bought a perfume myself since father is father is the one who likes to buy perfumes as gifts for me in some special occasions. I never finished any perfume in my life.
However, I went to U.K. recently and had a chance to walk into a Jo Malone shop on the Oxford Street. Among all colognes there, this Oud & Bergamot was the only one which I could think of myself wearing it daily. I bought it, brought it back home to my Asian country and never regretted a single moment. Unlike others, I’m no expert of perfumes. I know that I like citrus fragrance, as well as bergamot and orange, and I’m totally into this fragrance. It calms my mind, reminds me of the feeling I have when being a sacred places like temples or quite places like woods. It’s alluring, mysterious and very subtle.
I use 3 spritzed: one on my neck, one in front of me, and one on my back. I think it fades within a couple of hours, but that might be because I’m living in a very warm country also.
This one is my signature smell, I think.

  32. :

    fruck its performance
stayed for minutes on my skin, i’m happy that i didn’t purchase it
even the limited edition with orange bottle smells better & richer but no significant performance improvement

  33. :

This juice smells really fantastic, it is not priced too absurdly so I think it may be worth picking up. The smell is excellent. The longevity isn’t as great. The sillage is decent on me but I overspray it.
I want a bottle of this eventually.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Love the smell, hate the performance.
Lasted less than an hour on my skin. Received a sample card that the sales assistant sprayed more liberally than I have ever seen anyone spray a card. She sprayed it front and back until the card was drenched in perfume. I was half expecting the card to wilt, it had so much liquid on it.
Despite the drenching, the card didn’t retain the scent any longer than my skin. So the dreadful performance can’t be blamed on my individual skin chemistry.
Which is quite disappointing, given that I really liked the fragrance as soon as I had sniffed the sprayer on the bottle. I liked it more when I sprayed a sample strip and even more when I sprayed it onto my skin. I thought I’d made a great discovery.
I never got a chance to test the sillage or projection, because the abysmal longevity intervened long before.
I noticed one reviewer said this is ideal for warmer weather. I guess it is, if you find oud too intense and you would rather not smell anything at all in warmer weather. This fragrance is ideal to wear around anyone who doesn’t like (or is allergic to) fragrance, because within 60 minutes, it won’t be there.

I am trying to break out of my floral-love rut and give other scents a try. I have many testers of Jo Malone, and today I started with Bergamot and Oud. The first spray seemed very refined, the crisp Woody Oud contrasting beautifully with the juicy, fragrant bergamot. You smell what you should, the oud and bergamot, but I also got a whiff of cinnamon and cedar. It is hot now in my part of the world, and I imagine it as more of a winter scent, with steaming mugs of tea next to a roaring fireplace as the snow falls outside a window. It is fresh, sharp and clean. It is also quite a masculine scent, rich and deep yet still simple.
Then, as dry-down begins, on my skin it turns sour. It’s funny, as I go about my day I get a glimpse of fresh cedar, but if I bring my wrist up to smell, I get a dank, musky odor. The freshness of white snow gives way to gritty black, and it becomes mushy and unpleasant. Then, an hour later, the musk is gone and is once again, cool and wintery. It has been on my wrist only two hours and is still forming and changing and adapting to what I do, and I like that. This is a beautiful and interesting fragrance, just perhaps not for a feminine floral lover like me. I think on a man, I would love this, and breath it in deeply. And maybe I would wear in the winter. For now, I’ll put this in my “try again” pile.
So far, it seems to be lasting on me but it’s early yet. I will update if it disappears in under 4 hours.

Light fresh oud! So many are heavy oud/rose scents that work better in cold temps. This one is a perfect warm weather oud that has a beautiful cedar and hint of citrus. It’s buoyant, carefree and still smells lush. Good sillage and longevity on my skin.

This is my second review of this Fragrance. I’ve owned this fragrance for a couple of years already. So, what i wanted to say scent wise this is a Ten. It opens up with citruses and woods. But in a very Masculine tone. Also people say the projection is weak but when i spray this i get a scent cloud for about 3-4 hours after that I use about 5-6 spritzes you can catch whiffs of this scent for a few hours more. Sillage wise it is very good Unlike from what other people say. Finally, i can classify this as a Aventus like scent.Minus the birch add oud and cedar. The oud gives this a touch of smoky Tangerine vibes.Highly Complimented actually this would be in the top three of the most complimented scents from females. This is so much class yet, so unpretenious. This could be a signature scent.Contemplating making it just that.

I adore this–an oud brightened bergamot. Crisp enough for day but rich enough for night. It reminds me of Citron Glace from Urban Outfitters except less sugary and it lasts much longer.

I’m surprised to read that so many people don’t find this to last! One spray is surprisingly potent and I can still smell this when I come home from work.
I LOVE THIS! Words to describe… crisp, fresh, cozy, vibrant… I find it to be a great winter scent. At first this seems “simple” and takes a different approach to mainstream scents, but it’s very addicting and I love it for its freshness and crisp quality.
Recommend trying out next time you’re at Nordstrom and are looking for a fresh, masculine scent that has a bright woodsy vibe. Love it.

This perfume disappears after 1 hour, i can not judge anything.
I thought this one was like velvet rose and oud but bergmont instead of rose. It is not. Very mild. I can not smell much before it disappears

I love how this smells and the only one I like from the Jo Malone line – I am worried about projection and was told that 50ml versions of all will be launched from Jan 2017 – gifs any other fragrances that smell similar to this with better projection and lasting power??? thanks xox

  43. :

A young, vibrant attractive aroma which is mostly linear..
    I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 – 3 hours – 6 inch projection. This is 70% lime and 30% oud, and is refreshing, tangy, uplifting with some backbone. It is perfectly unisex and very appealing. It is linear and does not evolve much and IMHO not with niche quality, or depth, but it is a lovely fragrance which is defintely to my personal taste. Some may find a little cloying or gagging though
    3 hours – 5 hours . 4 inch projection. Decent performance.
5 hours – 7 hours – 3 inch projection. This fragrance now slighly changes and is now 70% the same as Assam Oud by Crabtree
7-9 hours – Close to skin
I love the aroma, but I don’t think this is value for money considering the price and it doesn’t have quality ingredients
    Very good

I love the smell of it though reminds me of Creed Aventus’ middle notes

This has just so not worked out well on my skin. I generally love oud and citrus and was expecting something wonderful, but it just smells sour and harsh. I am sampling from a small tester spray, so maybe it has gone ‘off’?
I’ve applied some handcream scented with Damascus Rose Oil over the top and that has at least rendered it acceptable and I’ve lost the urge to scrub this, but it’s still not one for me.

  46. :

Beautiful, but fleeting fragrance. Oud & Bergamot reminds me a bit of Prada’s old Amber fragrance – a fresh opening that dries down to warm, rich, and spicy. It literally smells like how a hug around Christmastime feels, if that makes sense. I would see this being perfect for the winter.
However, within an hour, it is gone. I smell nothing on my skin. 🙁

So many times I tried this in store and it just disappears !!! So back in a year later trying it again as it really is a beautiful sultry scent. Jackpot it lasted I could smell it on me so I bought it and I am loving it. It’s just sublime..a very warm heady delicious parfume best saved for nighttimes layer over your fading day scent….

I discovered this fragrance while out shopping with my mum. It was her birthday and I wanted to get her something special so we browsed the Jo Malone counter and smelled everything they had in (literally everything). My mum had fallen in love with the Jasmine & Mint and I kept getting whiffs of something unusual and familiar smelling which turned out to be Oud & Bergamot. I had to buy it immediately. For me it was one of those rare fragrances that I just cannot get enough of. Addictive and sexy. So I brought my mum her Jasmine & Mint and she brought me Oud & Bergamot! I felt bad as she spent more than me as it was her birthday treat so I treated her to dinner at a posh restaurant wearing our Jo Malone’s and receiving compliments from the staff on the gorgeous smells.

Oh no Jo! No no no.
    I’m so disappointed :0(
When I smelled this in the store it was intoxicating on the test strip. Almost bought a bottle but they were kind enough to give me a tester. I sprayed it on 5 minutes ago and it’s just vanished. Poof. No more.
The scent was to die for the moment it hit my skin and now I only know it’s there because I know where I sprayed it-otherwise I wouldn’t be able to pick it out.
    Ugh. Heartbreak city.
Update: I have since worn this scent out three times in different levels of humidity and heat to see if the first test was a fluke. Nope. All yeilded the same result, within minutes-literally minutes, it’s gone entirely.

Agree with @stephen.r. I bought this one in Auckland JM Boutique store. The sales told me that their Colognes are actually EDT and Cologne Intense are EDP. They call themselves “cologne” only to express that these products are light-weight and very wearable.
Despite the longevity problem with others in this house, I personally get a 6-10 hrs with a full-arm projection depending on temperature.
The scent itself is aromatic in winter and a little heavy/formal on hot summer. Definitely a cool summer night/formal event/winter scent.
Of course when I say summer I mean around 24 degrees in Auckland 🙂
Since I haven’t tried a lot of oud scents, I cannot say this is the best oud-themed one. But absolutely a go if you would like to present your professionalism.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

I have to second stephen.r ‘s review – this is a beautiful soft clean oud! Very wearable (many ouds are too harsh IMO).
Strangely, Oud & Bergamot reminds me a lot of Hermes’ Vetiver Tonka. So much so, that I had to do a side-by-side of the two…yep similar, but with VT’s tonka giving it a slight sweetness

  53. :

    3 out of 5

First, let me confirm something that will shock many…the line of Joe Malone fragrances are NOT EDC (cologne) concentrations…nope. They are 13-17% depending on the scent, and classified as no less than typical 15% EDT. So, for what it’s worth, you are buying an EDT.
On to the Oud & Bergemont. Quite simply, the most unique, most wonderful smelling, wonderful execution of oud I have ever smelled/owned. The bergemont is slightly fresh but what it really does is add a sweetness to counteract the oud. The result is a smooth, softened oud that smells like something scent (no pun intended) from heaven. Mysterious but not middle eastern, fresh but not clean, warm but not dark, rich but not complex. VERY linear and consistent.
Now, longevity, projection and silage. It lasts and lasts close to the skin, 8-10 maybe 12 hours on pulse points. Projection average and tends to settle really close to the skin, but you will get wafts out of nowhere every now and then, which confirms it is most certainly still there. Scent trail, or silage is gone after first hour. Amber & Lavender, 154 or intense ginger and amber are the only JM fragrances that have a huge scent trail.
This scent is worth every penny.
**update: a close, and stronger alternative would be CLEAN’S SUEDED OUD**

I get pretty cardboard scent. It’s nice, very wearable, kind of like L’Artisan Dzing! but without the elephant or caramel.i drained my sample over several occasions, enjoyed it,and would gladly accept this scent as a gift.
    Nice.

    Good oud blend
One of the best oud blends that I have ever tried.
Not sexy, but very pleasant and special
I find the citruses notes more suitable to oud then the sweet notes
Unfortunately the performances is not great

  56. :

    3 out of 5

Classy cologne that is blended so well. This product by Jo Malone is amazing! My wife likes this on me as well! This will be in my collection soon! The bergamot is crisp with citrus notes and the expensive oud is there to help this creation to shine thru!

  57. :

    3 out of 5

beautiful and harmonious blend of our and fresh citric notes. but too weak in longevity, i would expect the woody oud notes last longer (for that pricing).

Dec. 2015. Oud and Bergamont is a good place to start to create your cool weather fragrance signature. Today it is pairing VERY well with a Body Shop fragrance: Madagascan Vanilla Flower. And I smell fragrant, not like I’ve been baking cookies all day.
Next I will experiment with using more floral fragrances with it. I suspect Marc Kurkdijan’s Amyris will add sparkle to the O&B. Then I’ll try something a bit fruitier with it. I’m thinking something plummy.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

    This is minimalism done right.
Seriously, Oud & Bergamot has ignited the passion for oud in me. This is such a beginner-friendly oud but at the same time unique and fascinating. I cannot forgive the Jo Malone brand for making such an addictive scent to magically make people fork out $190. But worst of all: I have no regrets for this FB purchase urgh!
The citruses here gets the typical Jo-Malone treatment to sustain its fresh fruitiness without turning sweet at any point. The oud note is refined, slightly rubbery and very very fragrant. Together with a strong cedar note the blend has an overall woody feeling of freshness, slightly oily and very moist in the best way possible.
This is a linear perfume: the three notes run head-to-head against each other throughout the entire course, and not one single note overpowers the others at any time. It’s extremely soft, but very classy, modern and confident. When I wear it I always spray some on my hair so I can sniff it whenever I want to.
The only complaint I have is the weak projection. At such a price point over-spraying can get a little bit expensive. But like I said I’m hopelessly addicted so I’ll spray on and hope they never discontinue it.

  60. :

    3 out of 5

Smells like christmas. Citrus, pine needles, patchouli, musk.
Unfortunately, it has bad projection. Sometimes I won’t even smell it unless I stick my face in it. And when I do that, its too strong. But that aside, this is the best of Jo Malone.

  61. :

    3 out of 5

Absolutely blind-buy worthy. Whoever you are. This is an incredible fragrance. Like others have said, it’s a bit quiet and has a weak longevity, but still worth having in your collection in my opinion. Beautiful.
****THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST SCENTS I’VE EVER SMELLED. WHAT “WALKING44” SAID ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  62. :

    3 out of 5

This is amazing, a wonderful rich, creamy yet dark fragrance. Very unisex, fresh cedar and bergamot with a wonderful full and dense oud backdrop. Delicious, clean and not crisp like other “citrus-y” perfumes, but well rounded, a pleasure to wear.

  63. :

    4 out of 5

One of the few, perhaps even only, of the JM line that completely strays from the name and sells you a dummy. That’s not to say that it isn’t pleasant enough, but I’m afraid what’s advertised is completely missing. In other words, there isn’t any oud or any bergamot present here. There is however, plenty of cedar, vetiver, pepper, and perhaps a touch of cumin. It’s spicy and woodsy, very linear. I expected warm, deep, tobacco-y oud, and fresh, citrus-y and/or floral-y bergamot; you know, what anyone would expect from a JM with a specific title. Unfortunately, neither of the titular ingredients are evident in this scent. Seems like Estee Lauder were eager to jump on the oud bandwagon, but without Jo around for guidance, this one has missed the mark in a big way.

Purchased directly from Jo Malone boutique in USA.
The opening is citrusy and spicy, divine. The fast dry-down takes away bergamot emitting very warm leathery cherry-wood note lingering very close to the skin. I do smell this cologne in 6 hours, but only when I stick my nose to the part of the skin where it was spritzed on.
Although in general I like it for being soft and comforting, I don’t think I will buy it again. It is just too flat. linear after the dry-down to the point that I get bored with it. Very good it is not a high concentration perfume but a fast-disappearing cologne with limited silage and longevity, otherwise I would have had to take a shower at some point of the day to wash off this oud boredom.

This scent is simply amazing. Anytime ive worn it,which i overspray the crap out of maybe 10 -15 sprays. Nothing but compliments. It has a definite sweetness which comes from the bergamot & orange.None of that stanky oud that everyone flips out for. i personally dont like over the top stank oud.I find it offensive. Ask any woman if they like Stank oud. Absolutely not. I wear scents for myself. But you dont want to offend anyone but also you want the opposite sex to catch that scent trail and be dumbfounded by what scent and type of man just passed by her. Nothing generic here. Very classy & very versatile i give it a 9/10.

In my opinion this is perfume for “special” occasions. I don’t see myself wearing this when I am not going to dress up.
Regarding the smell from the first sniff you can detect that it is not going to be overwhelming kind of perfume. The oud note is obvious but it is not a medicinal whiff and after around half an hour it settles down a bit to become the most comforting scent I have ever tried. It doesn’t seem to be offensive at all. Bergamot and citrus are detected and give some freshness. I wonder which note could be the reason for a sensual vibe in the dry down. It lasts for good 6 hours. I disagree with those who say that the lasting power is weak,It has a good projection and reaches people around me.

I absoloutely adore the mix of woody oud and delicate bergamot in this scent, but I’m just so disappointed by the longevity and sillage. For it’s price point you really should get more for your money, but I find that around 30 minutes after spraying I can only smell it if I put my nose close to my skin, and after around 4 hours is it all but gone. Not one I’ll be returning to, unfortunately.

At the time when I’m about to give up on finding an oud scent that is not too overwhelming I found this one. Oud is so smooth, subtle and simply elegant in this scent. I also have to credit bergamot for bringing out the vibe and makes the scent more playful and not boring. If you’re looking for and oud that doesn’t feel like an old man or too macho, this is the one lol.

this oud smells smooth, luxurious and creamy.personally prefer to smell it on men than women, too bad its not longlasting.

This is such a rich seductive smell that doesn’t last long. What a shame it’s so weak. It’s like a fine girl you bring to a party but she doesn’t socialize and clings to you all night. She’s invisible and forgettable to others, yet you love her anyway. Sigh

Oud and Bergamot is such a smooth bergamot and not overly “oudy” – which makes it very unisex and easy to wear. I have the dry body oil as well as the cologne because I love it so much and hope that it never gets discontinued. It can be very versatile for mixing with Wood Sage and Sea Salt for a very interesting combination. Love this one!

Maybe I’m very used to Oud(y) smells, because I can hardly pick up Oud in this perfume, instead I get a soft fragrance, slightly masculine and very very clean. and perhaps a little bit powdery. It isn’t heavy at all and sillage isn’t the greatest but it does last for a long time on the skin. I would recommend this perfume to those who want that clean but with darker undertones smell, and to smell fresh without smelling like you’re wearing one of those very simple one or two note creations marketed at teenagers.

Tried this fragrance several times, both on paper and my body, for several times before the purchase. The scent of this fragrance is very impressive.
The fragrance starts off citrusy for sure, mostly bergamot with some lemon, but not orangy to me. After 5 minutes, the citrus component disappear and the woody notes begin to take the spotlight. The woody notes develops rather slowly such that it might appear to be very weak, or even non-existent, after the citrusy notes disappear. After about half an hour, the oud note shines, with a bit of sweetness at the back. The sweetness is pretty subtle so it can still be worn by men.
Although I like the scent very very much, the projection is quite weak. The first day I used it, I applied the normal amount I usually use for cologne, none of the people I work with can detect any scent at all. I tried to apply more in subsequent days, the project is still weak that it’s very hard to detect. So this is definately not a fragrant for people who wants all people around to smell it.
    Score: 8/10
May hit the 9 mark if it has more power

I like this one a lot. It smells like Yves Rocher Neonatura Cocoon, without the chocolate. Which is interesting, because that one is patch, vanilla, cacao and chocolate, meaning that there are no notes in common…. Hmmm… I wish the JM’s lasted longer too.
