Cartier Oud Absolu Parfum !!!
One of the most authentic oud fragrance I ever came across.!
Smells very middle eastern for sure but the smoothness is kept at par..
The musky feel id there for sure but Oud dominates the whole fragrance.
3-4 sprays and your are good to go
Lasts more than 10-11 hours being and extrait !!!

This is the best & most authentic oud from Cartier; if you (for some reason) feel the need to get an overpriced Oud from Cartier, don’t waste your time on the others.. Just get this

Oud Absolu is somehow the scent of Les Heures Voyageuses that is closest to an Arab attar, showing even more concentrated than other pure parfums in the line. It is interesting, however, that there is an influence of Western perfumery idea by adding a more citrus aspect that makes the paper of an opening in the composition. For a few moments we have a citrus scent through green, tart and powdery aspects, which reminds me a few moments the opening Habit Rouge. After that, however, Oud Absolu is like an amalgam of various facets of oud. It appears to be a blend of natural with synthetic use, marrying the musky, sweet, oily and animalic side that different interpretations of Oud usually have. There’s even a moment where you notice an amber sweet aroma that brings the strength and comfort of the a classic mainstream creation in that category, the perfume M7 by YSL. Its projection and fixation are extraordinary and the scent lingers on the skin even after bathing. By offering several facets of Oud, Oud Absolu fulfills very well its role of being both a perfume to be used alone as a basis for other perfumes of the collection.
