What a delightful, powdery vanilla surprise this is! I have the original Chantal Thomass and found it rather nice, so I figured I’d try this one.
I agree, it’s a total powder bomb. I get some slightly sweet vanilla mixed in as well. It’s a very calming scent; very cozy and cuddly too. The name doesn’t suit it at all; “Hug Me” or “Cuddle Me” would be more appropriate. I get some comparison with Kenzo Amour, but this is way more powdery and the vanilla is more subdued.
A very girly, but relaxing scent for chilly days.

Baby powder, baby powder, baby powder. I was so intrigued after sampling this that I bought a large bottle, but it does take some gumption to put it on. Do you really want to smell like a baby’s bum?

On my hunt for more powdery fragrances, I received this gift (though it would have been a blind buy for me anyway). Somehow, I managed to completely skip over (or completely forget) about the reviews mentioning Kenzo Amour; and only remembered the ones talking about baby powder. Baby powder was what I was going for.
On initial spray, I get a scent that smells very familiar to me. It made me think of Ambre Precieux for a few seconds, but then thought: No, it can’t be that one, can it? I’m still not sure, but I do know it has that classic perfume vibe. ONLY in the beginning though. It changed completely within seconds! I could barely smell it after that classic vibe went away. I thought that surely this would be the very first perfume that didn’t last on me! I was wrong. After a few moments, I sniffed my wrist again and started smelling a lovely face-powder-type powder. Soft and gentle. I was beginning to think this wouldn’t have much sillage; but on me, it does! After a few minutes, it changed yet again, and surprisingly, got stronger too. This is when it begins to smell like Kenzo Amour, and vaguely reminds me of Banana Republic Rosewood (I think it’s that perfumey sweet tea note)….but more sweet-powder like Kenzo Amour. And it stays like this from here on out. Somehow, the light and soft face powder from the middle, is completely gone. It alternates between being creamy and powdery. Perhaps it’s both? But if you have Kenzo Amour, I don’t really think you need this. Personally, I prefer the dry-baby-powder-like aroma from Joseph Jivago Sweet Dreams. This one might be too sweet for me as an everyday scent. Though I can see it being very comforting and cozy in the Winter.

This is a chic perfume. You need to take it with some patience and do not throw it away at the first sniff and conclude that “Just baby powder liquid”.
Not the impressing and unique. But the dry down smells tender and feminine.Remind me of the good old days.
Floral woody musk usually has strong character. But this one is easy and pleasant. And the bottle conveys vintage. Some says this is very french in tone which i agree much.
Suggest perfume your handkerchief, pillow cover, glove with this. You can discover the charm of this Osez-Moi.

I have been wanting to try this scent for ages so many thanks to Yohji for my decant.
This is a lovely and sweet powdery scent. It smells like a light baby pink talcum powder or like a Johnsons baby powder or a powdered lipstick.
In terms of distinguishing separate notes, well, I can smell powdery musk and sweet frangipani, perhaps with a touch of chammomile and rose but ultimately I smell powdered make up. That is it.
Very calming scent but unfortunately has poor longevity. It is perfect for work or just wearing to bed, when you need to snuggle down and require comforting. I wish it projected better and lasted longer though.
That said, I still have a bottle on the way to me.

Must have for lovers of creamy frangipani, vanilla and Johnson Baby Powder. Veils of kindness and good impression on people. I bet lots of those will be in hurry to help you to gather dropped pennies from the floor in the shop, coz you are “so lovely!” wearing Osez-Moi! I do love bitchy fragrances, but this one is very opposite to word “bitch”, yet I love it. Maybe it will help me to use more gracious words in daily life and create deeper dimples when I smile.

    Beautiful scent!
Warm ‘n fuzzy, comforting and soft.
Another word comes to my mind “Classy”.
Light powdery vanilla, musk, with hints of floral notes, roses and violets.
    A Perfection!
It is a soothing every day, safe for daytime wear, closed areas, bedtime perfume. People are going to sniff you wearing this gem.
Not sure about the name “Dare Me”? It’s not a provocative scent in any way in regards to the name, more of a “I am in my own Zen and Loving it” scent.
If you’re a fan of powdery, soft florals, check this one out.
Stays close to the skin and lasted half a day for me. It’s the relaxation in bottle 🙂
Blind buy on Ebay after reading reviews on Fragrantica. and No Regrets whatsoever!

I bought a full bottle. This parfume is fantastic! And the bottle is beautiful! I love it!

I have a simple, and I like it. It reminds really of babypowder, but not too sweet. Creamy, soft and longlasting scent. After hours come forward a bitter chord, but this is positive. A full bottle? I dont know yet.

Cddimauro – you had it exactly right, this reminds me of a cross between Teint de Neige and L’Instant Magic! It has the luxurious powdery feel of TdN but the more prefume-y aspect of L’Instant Magic. It is a beautiful scent but to me you definitely must like powder bombs to enjoy this one.

I love this perfume! It is simple and elegant, multifaceted. The vanillic frangipani (plumeria) note is at times quite like Songes by Annick Goutal, but I must say that I like this much more. The vanilla is creamier, and the herbal camomile really balances out the sweetness. Blissful.

This is a warm, powdery, floral. That really does have a baby lotion hint at first. For me it reminds me a bit of Coco without any sharpness. This one is not a modern cheapo fruity. It has an expensive-sophisticated fragrance for a woman who likes to be a lady.
    This lasts without screaming.
The bottle is very pretty with the cream colored name badge on the front and a very bright crystalline top wrapped with a little black leather-like bow.
I like it!, but Love it’s sister; Chantal Thomass.

I adore this perfume. It’s very soft and powdery, subtle and sexy. To me it smells like a cross between Teint de Neige and L’Instant Magic, both of which I also own and love dearly. Sillage is quite good and it typically lasts a good eight hours on my skin, longer on clothing. I have been using this a lot to reserve my TdN and L’Instant Magic for special occasions since they are so much more expensive. If you like powdery scents, you’ll probably love this one and the price is hard to beat.

I just got my sample of this..
1st sniff made my brain says powder..
Very soft powdery scent yet classic..
But I’m not a powdery type.. but it still acceptable by my nose 🙂

Ooooooh La La ! What a soft, beautiful, comforting scent ! If you’re looking for a perfume to remind you of Johnson’s Baby lotions & powders, this is exactly the one you want !
Osez-Moi is very powdery, soft, but has depth and longevity. The vetiver gives it a slightly nutty flavor, making it more grown up than Johnson’s Baby products. The soft musk here gives this perfume a grown up womanly aspect, too.
Chamomile softens the rose and frangipani so the perfume is sweet, but not too sweet. The vanilla here is deep, rich, creamy and wonderful !
Osez-Moi simply graces your skin with the most feminine soft powdery opaque veil imaginable. Definitely all woman, great for any season. Expertly blended, smells expensive, has moderate silage that lasts on my skin forever until I wash it off. I LOVE Osez-Moi !

Do you like Kenzo Amour Indian Holi? This one is similar, but softer. A very soothing scent.

  18. :

Very calm, absolutely inoffensive smell of sweet CREAMY camomile with vanilla. Interesting unusual mixture which leaves pleasantly warm, cosy feeling on skin. Lasting power is ok (becomes weaker hour by hour), sillage is soft.

Scent wise, there is nothing much more to describe except the words “creamy vanilla”. I feel very comfortable and cozy wearing it. I’m now considering buying a spare bottle to keep in case it discontinued or my local store does not carry it anymore!

Smells exactly like Flower by Kenzo. So if you like Flower by Kenzo, stick with it since this is hard to find everywhere.

  21. :

Beautiful powdery camomile rose fragrance, good lasting power (at least 8 hours on my wrist, more on my clothes) and good sillage the dry down really reminds me of Kenzo Amour. Really gorgeous <3

I wanted to love this one so badly, but after trying my sample twice either it is a bad batch or this smells a bit like a powdery bug spray we have here in Australia :-/ I’m not saying it’s terrible but it just evokes that memory in me when I smell it. Very floral and powdery I could see this would smell absolutely gorgeous on someone else as it has nearly all my favourite notes. So sad 🙁

Usually, I think that the word “powdery” is overused when it comes to describing perfumes, and I don’t follow everyone else’s comparison to the scent of powder. With this, however, I totally get it because it really does smell like it. Sweet (but not gourmand), girly (but not juvenile), pretty and overall a happy fragrance. Falovalo’s description is right on the spot! I love it when the reviews here on Fragrantica are so accurate – Osez-moi is just what I had imagined it to be. On me, it seems to have pretty fair lasting power. I have a spray sample that I will treasure for a while, and I’ll possibly get a full bottle.

This is powdery rose, vanilla is comfort like a blanket.
Delicious after bath in a relax morning.
Last for 3 hours on my skin, pretty good for a soft fragrance.
I’m glad to have it in my collection.

i can understand why people like it, I usually like floral, vanilla sweet type of perfume like this, but this one just doesnt work for me at all, and bit weak. wont buy it…

  26. :

    3 out of 5

Not bad, the first 5 minutes, which is about all i get from this frag. It smells like Kenzo Amour, just more dusty. No longevity at all on my skin, one of the weakest i`ve ever tried.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

It is a cute little perfume, but nothing special and certainly not sensual, nor sexy, playful and such.
Powdery, reminds me of J&J baby oil, it also reminds me of Nonchalance very much but it has a better staying power. Actually it could be…Nonchalance daughter or grand daughter!
Nice but overpriced for what it offers, I think.

I bought in an amount of 100 ml bottle. This perfume smells like baby& powder, i liked it so much

Osez moi smells exactly like talc powder. Clean, soft and powdery smell is very good but it has poor lasting power on my skin.

I’m liking this perfume more and more, when I first tested it I was surprised by how strikingly similar to Laguna it is, they both share the same salty feeling. But Osez-moi is way much better and interesting, it is nutty , the vanilla is soft and the chamomille gives a gorgeous twist to the fragrance that makes it so original. The bottle is so nice as well. I’m seriously considering adding it to my collection.

As much as i like this whenever i try it, i am just not sure if i want to spend my money on it.
I mean, it is a really nice and comforting scent but i’m not sure if i could smell this for a long time. It has this bitter note that keeps on creeping whenever i smell it closely. I might get this to wear around the house but..
    i’m still not sure…

I think this is very sexy and boudoir-ish. It smells a lot like baby powder, but still in a sexy and different way. When I wear it, I think of sexy lace lingerie, high messy hair and big pearl necklaces. If you don’t like powdery scents, this is definetely not for you !

  33. :

I agree with they: it’s an innocent baby powder with a little sexy thing…

  34. :

I love it : it smells like body-cream, it’s powdery, sweet, feminine, very relaxing and sensual too. The name is perfect : if you dare it, you will get nice regards.

One of the most beautiful perfume for me..Yeah smells like baby powder but gives u also a sexy feeling..This perfume should be definetely in my collection..Staying power is very nice..If u spray on ur clothes ,stays 3-4 days maybe more than this cos i can still feel the perfume on my coat after a week…loveddddd itttttttttt:)

this fragrance is very soothing and relax. i love the powdery smell!! a little bit like how a baby may smell like 😀
a person like me who love vanilla so much will like this one for sure!!

When I first sniffed Osez-moi on a paper strip, I fell for its soft powerdy musky smell. To me it looked like a softer version of Tocade (Rochas). So I bought the 50ml EDP, and to say the truth, I am disappointed… It lacks the energy and strength of Tocade, but mostly, the lasting power is very weak. Nevertheless, and soft and nice smell, suitable for everyday wear.

Oh such a lovely scent! It is really soft and powdery as some have already said. It is romantic and flirty, a tiny bit sexy one might say. I am in love with it, it is gentle and warm.
Floral, a little bit of herbs and a little bit of sweetness from the vanilla. Perfect!

If there’s a fragrance category for baby-powder this one would likely to fall under it. On my nose it smells like chamomile and vanilla. Super soft & powdery, like it!
    The bottle’s adorable 😉

I finally got to test this baby out yesterday, and man, was it worth it!
The scent is subtle yet gentle as a
peony, it then turns lightly woody and
faintly sweet, like diluted glace au
    vanille.
The remaining scent was powdery and
    rosy.
    Beautiful 😛

I was trying to get this on a slip of paper but instead i got some on my hand and oh boy was i glad i did. My body chemistry seems to mix well with this one. I’m not usually into powdery smells but this one didn’t smell powdery on my hand at all. Instead it was a little sweet, a mixture of vanilla and light flowers and they do embrace well together. It is rather soothing too, not very strong but a tad just nice.
    I’m definitely getting one! 🙂

This is for a romantic, frilly girl who loves powder puffs, pink duvet covers and walls and satiny dressing gowns. She curls her hair and wears kitten heeled shoes with the little black puffs on the top. She sits at her vanity table and pinches her cheeks til they are the perfect shade of pink.
Thats’ the type of girl it brings to my mind, the 50’s pin up type who loves all things glam and retro.
The smell is a mix of baby powder and sweat. Fitting for those who love a late night romp under those pink duvet covers, with her hair all mussed up and cheeks flushed.

I decided to shop for “Osez-moi” in Greece, but to mention the truth, I was sure I would not find it here at all. The saleswomen did not even know who Chantal Thomass was! I further searched for it online & found a 30ml bottle for about €37.-
The main reason why I bought it was the chamomile note, very intriguing & brought to my attention since the beginning this perfume was mentioned here at Fragrantica. This small cute & pink bottle, looking like a boudoir, contains in my opinion a wonderful scent that, once worn, brings you right away an outstanding perfume of flowers bouquets. I cannot really say that I found so far its chamomile note, but I still believe it deserves strongly to belong in every woman’s perfume collection. Its powdery vanilla note can be delicate and discreet, but it does not pass unnoticed by others noses.
It kind of reminds me of Chanel 5 but in a lighter version. I do not consider it as a sexy perfume, but a more romantic & sophisticated perfume story tale at the same time. Something like the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale…
And, as it seems, the “Osez-moi” bottle I now own is the only one here in Greece, I am taking good care of it! (lol)
(PS. Dear Greek Saleswomen, Mrs. Chantal Thomass is a famous Lingerie Designer, this at least you should know…)

Sooo sniffable! Cant stop sniffing at my arms when wearing it , truely hope that lots and lots of people gets their eyes and noses open for this one !

At first its a discrete mild rose, not strong and sticky ,or sweet ,just discrete ,like its cuddling up to you like a cat that curves around you.
Mildly blended bouquet, rose camomille and frangipani. The peony i dont feel.
BUT! After an hour things happen!!!! From this flowery mild scent , it changes into something else! The amber, vanilla and vetiver takes over ,and conforms into a subtil caramelscent, its chewy caramel, warm ,but never ever sweet . Together with the blossom its creates this mild, warm, fresh french smell.
I even sniffed on my sweater this morning because it smelled so good!
    gentle ,and wonderful.

I got a sampla of this wonderful perfum today ,together with another one i bought. But i totally forgot about that one,its this one im sniffing and absolutely fell in love with!!
What can i say, its classic, very very french in its tone, like a chic ,perfect little french dress.. flowers ,roses, chamomille, peony ,but not at all heavy . Its rather light, rather fresh, not sweet.
    im getting one !
