I love the top notes but , the dry out lends itself to more of the cedar and musk.
The citrus dissipates in short period of time. The bottom note of sandalwood is neutral..

I have been looking for a citrus perfume for a long time like “Patou” which is discontinued. It needs to be more lemony. I looked at this but has no lemon. 🙁

Oh, I was thinking of trying this Oscar de la Renta Oscar Citrus. Then I read references to Clinique Happy. I do not like Happy. I bought some after I found out about it from a woman who had it on. Worked for her and not for me.
I think y’all might laugh, but I liked Jean Nate original scent after bath splash and the cologne also. The cologne is now discontinued, but not the splash. I am trying to find a day perfume with a clean citrus/floral with some staying power. Apparently this Oscar one is not it. I do have some Oscar that I really like for evening.
Thanks for listening. Sall

If anyone has ever worn the Original Tova Signature that was sold on QVC that is no longer available, how would this compare? I have currently changed to Happy by Clinique. Is this better than Happy?

Clinique Happy?? never!!
It’s a soft citrusy and misterious fragrance. It’s a very sunny and young – in the best way – perfume.
Instead, Clinique Happy is sharp, floral, cold and awful to me.

Oscar’s Citrus perfume begins on a subtle grapefruit opening. I don’t find it sharp, but pleasantly tempered by the peach and orange. It’s a citrus perfume but it’s so smooth and refreshing. Citrus doesn’t present with that occasionally jarring opening note of bergamont like other citrus fragrances. The drydown is subtle and sexy because of the cedar and musk notes of the base. I like!

After lemming this for so long, I was a tad disappointed that it smelt like Clinique Happy. Thought they could have amped the ginger note up a bit.
