Although I am a jasmine lover, this one is not for me,as I smell just heavy tuberose, not the fancy notes which are listed…
DMITRIY684875 – :
Organza opens with rich floral notes and the tiniest hint of sweet fruits. There’s a slight similiarity to Ysatis – I wish it were stronger – but Organza doesn’t linger as well as Y. The dry down is quick, unlike many older Givenchy scents Organza doesn’t project too well.
Givenchy used to make big opulent perfumes, and Organza certainly is opulent. There’s a tiny hint of spice to O, which makes the florals more interesting.
Organza is well blended and sophisticated. I don’t think it’s dated, but a person interested in light aquatic scents probably wouldnt’ get on well with this perfume.
I like heavier scents and Organza suits me fine. It’s got a lot of flankers, but for now I’ll stick with the original.

This is the most beautiful, yet unique perfume out there. Since this was launched nothing else has come even close to being as beautiful as this.
Elegant, romantic and feminine. Men absolutely LOVE this on me.
Perfect for cold weather.

I was gifted this perfume many years ago and hated it. for me it was too old, heavy andsweet in the wrong way. could never understand the hype around it.

Not my fav.
Candied carrot + soaked in honey through the night + and finally sprinkled with nutmeg. Spicy, sweet, very long lasting, oriental, “golden”.

What is that poem that goes, “Girls are made of Sugar and spice”?
Well, I’m convinced my DNA is made out of: gardenia, tuberose and jasmine. Along with soft vanilla and amber-woodsy notes in the heart. I try to wear this perfume as much as possible. The bottle is gorgeous and the juice is sexy and classic. I love this scent.

Had this but never wore it. It was a gift…Too cloying/ sweet/ yellow, not my type of perfume but not a bad perfume. Just not for me.

Sex bomb~~~ Not an everyday weapon ;-), This one announces that you’re not fooling around – you are used to getting attention. I get gardenia, vanilla and green notes… I think this is great for all year round, but not for work. Definitely not unisex in my opinion.

This one smells very feminine, warm and elegant, unfortunately not on my skin. My mom and I loved the smell of it when it was freshly sprayed on me, but it very soon became weird, somewhat fishy. It smells as bad on mom but not as soon. Sample before purchasing!
6paTuIIIka – :
This one has many of my favorite notes so a mystery why the sum of its parts is a little underwhelming to me – thus the like vs love rating. It’s a lovely scent – bright, happy, spicy floral. Worth purchasing just for the bottle!
valery.sim – :
Organza just makes me smile. If you like sweet white floral fragrances, which do not veer into outrageous oriental territory, please give it a test. I don’t find that the vanilla overpowers. As a whole, Organza is powerful however.
I do find the juice and bottle incongruous. Whilst I adore the voluptuous bottle which reminds me of an Egyptian priestess, it doesn’t really match the fragrance itself IMO, which is innocently uplifting.
Why call a fragrance organza – that whispy formal fabric ideal for brides and proms, then match it with a slinky curvy bottle and intricately carved gold lid? The design seems more weighty, and would have made a wonderful statement if it contained an incense bomb like Shalimar.
Nevertheless, both the juice and flacon are gorgeous and worthy of pride of place on an antique, highly polished wooden duchess with trifold mirrors, all the better to admire Organza from all sides.

Organza by Givenchy- A very powerful and flowery fragrance. It explodes with Gardenia, Tuberose, Honeysuckle, Orange blossom and Jasmine. They are carried forth with Powdery Iris and bright carnation wrapped in Lime, and woods making this a very crisp and nasal fragrance at first application. I call these kind of fragrances ‘sneezy’ fragrances, because they make you feel like sneezing when first applied. This is a Ladies fragrance for you guys, like me, who like to wear some of the women’s fragrances, this one is daring, if you want to go with it. It did , however, draw many women close to me, when I wore it today, women who didn’t normally get close to me like that before, so use that as a guidance if you want to wear this and smell like a bouquet of fresh flowers, If it draws the women and that’s what you want, by all means Wear the flowery frag. It worked for me. But please ladies and gentlemen, beware, spray this sparingly. I sprayed only one very small spray on the back of my left hand, and that was all that was needed because that tiny little splat, projected like a nuclear bomb. This is an ENORMOUS perfume folks. Also, you must be warned this WILL last 12 plus hours. It does mellow after about 2 hours, but still projecting in a toned down not as bright sneezy way. It becomes quite pleasant after 2 hours. The brightness of Iris, carnation and lime, fade away, leaving only the warm creaminess of gardenia, tuberose and jasmine, swirling with musk and vanilla and only hints of woods. It is now 12 hours after spraying that one tiny spritz and I can still smell this fragrance, however, it is now a skin scent and quite a pleasant one too. If you move about, it will still leave a trail. Some of you know how I love fragrances that last and project, and this is one of those.
I highly recommend Organza by Givenchy to those of you who love fragrances that project and leave a trail as you go about. But be ever so stingy with the application and you’ll enjoy a lovely flowery fragrance all day and night. Maybe if you try spraying a glass dish first and then just dab your finger onto the fragrance and dot yourself lightly with this one, and do so maybe two hours before you leave to your engagement, that should do the trick, because this is a very lovely floral fragrance once it dries down.
Organza By Givenchy- Strong Floral and Long lasting-Loud and In Your Face at first, but after she’s had a few drinks, she mellows to a sultry, purring, beautiful listener.
furiJaita – :
Organza is one of those polarising perfumes. Like Obsession (yeuch!), some people adore it, and some think it’s a headache in a bottle. I fit into the latter category. I find Organza to be really quite offensive. It made me feel physically sick. No matter how much I scrubbed my wrist, I could not get this stuff off. I must like gardenia, because my all time favourite is Rush by Gucci. And I mustn’t mind tuberose and white flowers, because I think Madonna’s Truth Or Dare is nice. But this is like a super concentrate of those things. I don’t get vanilla. I just get overpowering and unpleasantly heady flowers. Nasty.

I just recently acquired this fragrance. I always thought it was outdated and for grandmas. Then decided to try it, initial thought.. very strong. There’s something gourmand about this scent its just soo sooo good. Now am keeping it for special occasions, afraid of running out. Addictive!!!
pashulya20126 – :
I remember this lovely fragrance on a friends ” Mom ” She loved to do her hair and makeup , she was always put together , even though she basically wore a pair of jeans and blouse . On those occasions when she really got dolled up , wore a skirt or a dress , she’d ask her daughter and I what should she wear for her scent . We loved playing makeup , and dress up , and she let us , loved her . Her husband was a lovely man that spoiled all us females . He gifted her with presents , we got little gifts. He had bought her ” Organza ” and she let us spray our wrists with it , I was totally in love , lust , for a 14-15 year old teen to think of those words back then , well , it was an overwhelming emotion for me . I know this might sound a little bit nutty , but truly Chanel no 5 ~ Joy ~ were 2 of the top scents , she had them , to me they stunk , not Organza ~ If Amarige is Marriage , then Organza is the Honeymoon ~ I bought this on a blind buy , only stating this because the frosted bottle vs the clear glass one , were both a changed formula or just one ? ~ It came rather quickly and I had waited only a few days , to see if it was as I remembered . I had my morning shower to start my day on the run , but I never leave until after my spritz of scent has time to calm down , this one as it dried down I could pick out the Gardenia and Vanilla , a mild infusion of Amber and Nutmeg . I did get a bit of Cedar but it is like an afterthought on me , I’m thrilled , we don’t get along ,if it is any heavier ,it overwhelms any other note and that is all I can smell . As others have stated you know right away if this is true , it is , but I did not remember the smell of alcohol ever . So , I have the new reformulated version or my frosted glass bottle is an older one that saw sunlight or another kind of heat source . It has staying power which is wonderful , I dislike having to spritz on more once I’m leaving for the day , although I have a few purse size rollerball and sprays , I hardly ever unless it is light like Trish McEvoy’s Blackberry and Vanilla { love that scent , it gets a lot of compliments } . I will remember every time I wear this my friends Mom , and how she set me on my path of love toward perfume , makeup , and stylish clothing . My Mom wore very few , she did not understand the seasonal need of wearing a scent certain months , like her wearing Ciara year round or Taboo , I guess some would say it is okay , I just know what I know , what I’ve learned , it works for me . I’m happy I have this again , I wish to give a big scented hug to those reviewers that had me missing this lovely ” Scentual ” and going on the hunt for it ~ This is exactly that , a big warm hug ~

Where do I begin in my endeavor to explain this my feelings and experience with this most incredible fragrance? I received a mini size bottle at one point, I can’t remember when, but I was a fool because it has been sitting on one of my perfume trays (I have a bunch – I know a lot of you will know just what I mean!), never having been tried, for years. I Finally corrected my foolish error and tried it relatively recently. OMGoodness! I don’t know if it is my chemistry or what, but once this sumptuous frag hit my skin, it was like magic. I know that sounds crazy or weird, but I don’t know how else to put it. Life changing maybe? This is one perfume that definitely makes you FEEL so SEXY! And we all need to feel sexy more often, am I right? I have added this one to my short list of “very faves” along with Elizabeth Arden Red Door, Ralph Lauren Safari, Estee Lauder Beautiful, Estee Lauder Knowing, Ralph Lauren Romance and I can’t forget Shalimar. I am a big fan of oriental florals, but I really think this is in its own category. Warm, a little nutty, spicy, PERFECT for Autumn and WInter. If you haven’t tried it, do so! Enjoy every sniff!
Seakendeath – :
Most of all I feel nuts, gardenia, woodsy notes and a hint of vanilla in this fragrance. The fragrance is classy and it reminds retro, but not too much. Floral notes are not intensive, imho. It’s more nut and woody. Not very sweet, but warm. I like the fragrance in general. But it’s not kind of nuts that I like.
anest85 – :
Elegant and sensual. Creamy, complex spice makes this feminine, white floral oriental a favorite. This warm fragrance is more suited for fall and winter, but I wouldn’t hesitate choosing Organza for special events during the spring or summer. I find this fragrance calms and uplifts my mood, too. A classic for adult women and not deserving of the “old lady scent” label, IMO. Slightly powdery, but not baby powdery. A tad too pricey for me to commit to for daily wear, but definitely worth having in my collection. The bottle is beautiful as well!
rukodel – :
Lovely. I have a vintage frosted bottle of edp and am wearing it today. A gorgeous dark orangey pink liquid. It is a joyful white flower with some woodiness which tempers the sweet so it is softer and more sophisticated. The addition of other typically Givenchy notes gives it a joyful edge which is feminine and warm. For a woman who enjoys sensuous spicy and flowery notes intermingled with a little wood. I love this one. It touches me in all the right places.
Star155 – :
There are frosted bottle testers all over ebay right now, and I grabbed a $30 100ml bottle.
The batch code is 011003 and it’s 2000.
Finally! VINTAGE!!! Mmmmmm….
I also have the non-frosted bottle version.
This smells deeper, darker, creamier, spicier. Woodier. Less powdered candy.
From my findings… a 4-digit batch code is the LVMH corporation, and that starts about 2002. So those are the reforms. The 6-digit code with ALL numbers, should be vintage in a frosted bottle.
Comparing the two, I actually think the current EDP is stronger, but by stronger I mean more cloying/louder. The vintage is refined and quieter, but smoooother/creamy. The vintage is by no means weak! I think Fragranticans will know what I mean. 😉

Well, this is almost too beautiful to be used, at least for me. For some weird reason I associate the smell of Organza with Christmas and the aspect of Christmas that is divinely white, filled with light and something holy. I see angels and hear hymns when I smell this fragrance! I know, it must sound weird!:-D I think the images I get have to do with gardenia (“white light angels”) and nutmeg (Christmas). In some funny way I cannot see this fragrance as an everyday fragrance, for me this is “going to church on Christmas” kind of fragrance, reserved for special moments when I want to feel (and smell) pristine.
grayv – :
Sensual fragrance, beautiful and elegant. Unfortunately after a few minutes some of the notes, not sure which, turn soapy. I really dislike soapy notes, so it definitely ruins the fragrance. Too clean smelling for me.
olavar – :
Like Amarige, Organza is not the scent for someone with a faint heart. I assumed, wrongly, that this would be easy to pull off. The dark red juice alone should’ve been a tip off.
The strongest note, to my nose, is tuberose. Whether this be selective smelling or my inability to ignore it in favour of other notes… I can’t say. Either or, this is accompanied by a lovely gardenia and a powdery nutmeg. First impressions leave my nose itching… and me sneezing. but, alas, I can’t stop sniffing. Full bottle worthy? Maybe not, but its definitely been interesting
mihaaa34 – :
Oh dear…I actually like the scent though not my usual taste, I find it sweet white flowers with a bit of powdery haze, but God! I’m very allergic to it. I sneezed a bunch of times and I had to use nasal spray and take benedryl. Ugh another classic I can’t wear. But it is a lovely actual scent if you can, you know, breathe.
katan – :
I just recently acquired a bottle of this for myself as my mother wore it often while I was growing up and for that reason its a very comforting scent for me. I rarely wear it myself as the vanilla comes through quite strong on me, almost as if I’d rubbed vanilla extract on, it does eventually simmer down at which point it smells more like I remember with the gardenia and honeysuckle alongside amber (which is a favorite of mine, because of this perfume I think) and the woodsy notes. I wear this scent most often on cold, rainy, lazy fall days (like today) and it makes me want to cuddle up in front of the fire with my coffee and have a chat with my mom on the phone. It’s not my favorite fall scent for myself (that goes to Armani Mania, which incidentally my mom bought me over 10 years ago for my 18th birthday- I’m now on my 3rd or 4th bottle) but it will always hold an extra special place in my heart that no other scent comes close to (except maybe Erox Realm which my mom also loves.)

In a world full of gourmand and foodie fragrances, let us not forget what a classic floral oriental is,and this is one of those, stunning!
White florals of gardenia, tuberose, and a nutty spicy aroma with vanilla, this is classic elegance.
Superb longevity, and wonderful sillage which could be heavy if applied too much( easy on the trigger!)
The bottle is a masterpiece alone, and the scent is powerful, white florals are up there yet the spicy nutmeg, adds some body to it together with tuberose which brings the oomph, yet it is still soft and ultra feminine.
I like a fragrance that is soft yet has that body and strength of a wonderful scent that leaves a wonderful trail in the air,and this so rightly performs so well!
Let’s face it the 90’s were the best decade to produce some great fragrances, and this floriental sits perfectly.
It’s a striking yet delicate fragrance,and I love it!

A grown-up floral beauty…
So, from my experience, the house of Givenchy has always specialised in making distinctly feminine perfumes. In the sense that the one this reminds me of (which my mother used to own) was Ysatis, which again was a very grown up and feminine fragrance.
With Organza, I get a sweet honeyed jasmine with supporting notes of tuberose and gardenia. There’s also orange flower and honeysuckle and this really comes across as another variation on a sweet, white floral. The vanilla, amber and nutmeg, along with the soft woods, really ground this fragrance and lend it a very smooth aspect. Well-rounded and complete – nothing lacking here, very polished.
Overall, I think it’s a beautiful smell. The really great thing here is that it’s not really a cloying monster or a badly done fragrance in any way. It’s balanced perfectly and with style. I could see this working for dates and nights out with a loved one. Not clubbing but very intimate and personal moments and occasions with a partner. I see it also as something of an evening perfume. I believe it’s very sultry and womanly. I could recommend it as the quality is there. You would probably have to be okay with a white floral done well, with a hint of honey and warmth. For what it does, it hits the mark. Really quite good.
desendas – :
Al-Rehab BALKIS is a potent, gorgeous dupe for this classic. I can discern literally zero difference between the two.
My wallet, on the other hand, feels the difference quite well, I assure you, as it can cost a tiny fraction of what Organza (quite deservedly) costs.
wezrainetwer – :
Warm, cozy, and comforting– a delicious mix of white floral, vanilla and nutmeg. I wear it to bed when I’m feeling anxious and it instantly calms me and I drift off to sleep enveloped in dreamy, creamy flowers. It’s like the ASMR of perfumes. 🙂

I cannot believe that I haven’t written a review on this! Givenchy’s Organza has been a love at first sniff for me. I especially love the drydown, which is the most sensual phase of this fragrance in my opinion.
It starts with an intense nutmeg + pungent white floral smell and a few minutes later the flowers distance themselves and you start smelling a very warm vanilla induced spicy Jasmine and tuberose and gardenia. It does have e very rich woody background; and is well blended with a ton of notes. The sillage is very heavy to my nose and it’s a longlasting scent. It’s suitable for night wear in the fall and winter and probably early spring.
Organza always smells sophisticated, complex, bold, and intriguing to me. It smells very historic and classic to my nose; I feel like it belongs to the old times; in a very grand way. Whenever I wear Organza, I feel very mature and powerful in an exclusively feminine manner. It feels like being a little girl and putting on your mom’s heels and striving to be a lady; an strong confident lady.
Flagmanff – :
Well this one is a love for me, and I guess it is no surprise. I love white florals and the nutmeg, walnut and the amber added in bring a warmth to this, making the perfect Fall daytime fragrance (for me), which I had been looking for Fall Daytime fragrance for a long time (and still would like to add a couple more Fall daytime scents to my stash). The woody notes are not dominant, and the green notes are lingering in the background, not really detected, but I am sure blended in for a fresher scent to keep the woody notes from dominating. Definitely has a warmth, is relaxing and comforting, and the white florals come through a touch, to keep this from being too warm nor too heavy, nor ‘too serious’ as many Fall scents seem to be for me. A very slight sweetness comes through on the dry down for me, but on a scale of 1-10, I would say the sweetness is only about a 3 or 4, so not overly sweet at all.
All of the notes are blended together cleverly and smoothly, so nothing shouts above the other. I cannot detect the amber note offhand, for example, but I am sure it blends in with the other notes, to round this out with warmth, making this, again, a great Fall daytime scent. Not heavy nor overpowering, yet lasts all day.
This was a blind buy for me and I was sort of thinking/expecting that this might have a vintage 80s scent about it, those powerhouse 80s scents, but this is softer than expected. The bottle design I guess makes me think it looks like an 80s scent. But the scent is timeless, imho. A grown woman’s scent. Lovely.
docent – :
I agree on all accords bar white floral, or maybe it’s in the background for me.
This is old school for me to try. I liked it sniffing the bottle, I tried on skin. Like a creamy warm spicey. No sharp edges.
Then I get a peachy, maybe like Taylor swift fruit mixed in as it dries down.
Excellent quality.
I don’t know if I can wear it. I find it very pleasant however. It is a bomb, you don’t need to overspray it
SatBrassy – :
I started out with the vintage pure perfume which led me to not like it much. Something in the pure perfume reminded me of JPG Classique edt which i strongly dislike.
Recently i acquired an edp spray and am loving this. I’m not sure if my edp is vintage or not but it has a classic edge. Not as syrupy and sickly sweet as the pure perfume. My edp is nutty, profound, sophisticated and a touch powdery. Great for a night out or even fall & winter days. Lovely.
If i never swap my full pure perfume mini than i will just layer it underneath the edp for more throw and endurance.

Notino sample:
Goes on very sweet and rather generic – not, necessarily, a bad thing, when you are someone like me, who doesn’t seem to suit many top notes!
However, then something pops up, on my skin, that smells (and I am really sorry I am forced to mention this) a little reminiscent of vomit…
It may be the nutmeg combined with the flowers?
Fortunately, that moment passes within a few minutes and it returns to just being very sweet and slightly flowery, again.
Although, I’m not sure I could put myself through a (literally) slightly nauseating few minutes, however much I might like a fragrance, later on?
The EDP is strong – which (please note, manufacturers!) is a very good thing.
I really can’t be bothered with wishy-washy skin scents, that have to be applied in the bucket-load to obtain any kind of sillage.
Minus the sicky-interlude, this is Perfume, with a capital P.
Very, very, feminine.
Very classic.
Having said that, I think it’s a little too much for me?
Not because it is too strong (it isn’t, at all, if used in moderation); but, because it’s just a little too sweet and flowery, even for me.
I love flowers, especially white flowers (I’m a big tuberose fan) and I need sweetness, as fragrances do tend to sour on my skin.
However, this is almost exclusively very sweet flowers (with a touch of vanilla and amber), on me.
I need a little fruit, or coconut, or something…
Or, alternatively, a little incense, or smoke.
Or maybe, just a touch more citrus?
Not much – just a little, to take the edge off the pure prettiness and sweetness.
Because, once you get past the sick stage (if you even encounter that – if you’re lucky, you won’t), this is actually very clean.
A little too clean, for me.
Will update on the drydown…
Update: Drydown is nice, so far.
Slightly less sweet, which is good and slightly woody (not surprisingly).
Boyfriend popped back from work, for a few minutes, at the beginning of the drydown and said he liked this fragrance.
But, he does have a slightly sweeter tooth than me.
mafysail – :
This is a “grand entrance” kind of perfume for me. For an evening out, at the ball (if I went to balls), I would choose Organza. The florals and sandalwood are a lot stronger on me than the vanilla note but all really projects. (everything is earthier on me). This scent is very sophisticated for a floral vanilla blend, with a vintage style. I was very surprised to read it was made in 96!!
apetrov – :
I get a big hit of jasmine, vanilla and animalic notes at the start. The spice then comes through closely followed by the gardenia and tuberose. The first impression is of a gently spicey white floral with low key vanilla. There is little sweetness. I suspect its too much of a white floral for me to be happy wearing it.
It really smells of its time so I cant call it a classic. I cant imagine anyone wearing this during the day as very perfumey but perfect for night.
I adore Indecense so Im more into my spices and wood notes but I felt I had to try this.
Good longevity and sillage.

Beautiful subtle floral spicy fragrance which I always recommend when at work on fragrance in the uk ,it’s a warming smell and the peony really settles down really well!brings back memories of family members who used to wear it !love this fragrance and as a male reviewing this I find this comforting to smell!

I did not dislike this half as much as I thought I would. I get bubblegum tuberose made a little bit more interesting by the addition of nutmeg spice. Not half as cloying and heavy as I was afraid it would be. Not at all sharp or green. Not as old fashioned as it’s made out to be. It’s pretty and inoffensive and elegant. Just not really my thing.
xrumerrus – :
By all the notes this should have been a great love, sadly not, but good enough for me to persevere.
I am getting the ghosts of all the beautiful white flowers,I’m guessing the catalyst of the Amber & Vanilla is what I’m missing.Having been black & white about fragrances that later bloomed for me I will tread carefully, for the moment “like” is enough.

About 20 some years ago I was strolling through a department store and more bored than interested I tried Organza. Didn’t do much for me, at least so I thought, and I went on to the movie theatre with my hubby right afterwards. And while I was sitting there, I couldn’t keep my nose off my wrist. It was just the greatest aroma. Right after the movies I ran back to the store to buy a bottle, and I have never been without this beauty since.
I think she is a girl you either adore or don’t care for. My hubby and my mom never liked it much. My mom went even so far to say: “How can you like that?” And I would answer: “How can you NOT like that?” I think she is absolutely gorgeous. I wear her when I want to feel very ladylike, sophisticated and taken seriously. And somehow that feeling comes through when wearing Organza. Do not know if it is because of the way I carry myself when I wear her, or if it is really that fragrance that projects this feeling of being important. However, when I apply Organza, people around me know I mean real business. Fits great to a pants suit career outfit on a modern woman that still expects chivalry. This is so me – under the right circumstances and in the right surroundings.

More floral than I care for. Underwhelmed by the spices and vanilla, they just don’t get much of a chance to shine. Dismal longevity on me. So much potential, but it falls kind of flat, must be my chemistry.

I was previously on the fence about this one, having got a 100ml for a great price. This was even in my SELL box.
OMG, not today! It’s a cold, cold winter day, and I pulled this out to re-try. I love it. Sweet sweet candy powder/floral with a hint of spice and woods. Delicious. I know I have a recent bottle, but it has excellent potency and sillage. I’m keeping this!

I bought the reformulated Organza assuming it would be like the original, which I had many years ago, and adored. Not. It is so disappointingly different! I’ve learned my lesson! Never assume that because you adored a fragrance years ago you will adore it’s current reformulated scent. Don’t buy because of fond memories! The opening especially is annoying.
Антон 123 – :
I have been coveting this perfume for a while now. I have read nearly every review of it on here, so convinced that I would absolutely love it! I ordered a miniature to try and also managed to get my hands on a bottle of the limited edition 10 year anniversary from 2006.
The miniature arrived first, I couldn’t wait to try it on! I dabbed it on to my skin and waited… I was completely and utterly underwhelmed! I did’t hate it but there wasn’t anything special about it either. I normally love loud scents but this was headache inducing! It has a very strong opening! I couldn’t pick out any notes at all.
Not wanting to be too quick to judge before giving it a proper chance I let it settle in to my skin. It spent the next hour or so as a very generic 90’s perfume on me. It did eventually settle in to a quite a soft amber musk that I quite likd. But at no point did I get anything sweet or vanilla.
Foolishly I dabbed myself again before bed and once again was struck down by the headache opening. I eventually managed to get to sleep and when I woke the next day I enthusiastically sniffed at my arm expecting the amber musk again but I got nothing! Maybe I had become used to the perfume? Maybe it just doesn’t last on my skin? Or maybe the strong opening had burnt my nostrils and destroyed my sense of smell forever?
Determined to get along with this perfume I applied it again that day. It seemed to settle quicker this time and throughout the day I would occasionally get a waft of the amber musk but I still wasn’t in love with it and the headache had lingered all day.
I will persevere with this scent but at the moment I don’t feel overly hopeful.
**EDIT**
I have had to give up on this perfume for now as I discovered it was having a really negative affect on my mood.

Look up in the top right corner. It says “floral oriental” there and this is exactly what Organza is. It’s very floral, a little spicy, pretty oriental, very 1980’s (I don’t care it’s from 1996, it’s still 1980’s scent ;).
It pretends to be heavy but actually isn’t. It likes to think itself sophisticated but it isn’t. It smells like an 18 year old girl who likes fun and games and aspires to being a sultry seductress. It’s fun and it works if floral orientals are your thing, though nowadays I go Shalimar way (you could even deviate to Poison) if I am to visit those lands.
I used to wear it in my 20’s, and somewhat nostalgically clicked ‘like’ here, but it’s an OK kind of like rather than an enthusiastic one.
6/10.
