Like tiny orchid petals
Sweet light ephemeral orchid flower scent. It’s more like scattered orchid petals, individual petals, when you put your nose to them and not a whole big orchid flower. I grow orchids in my greenhouse. I live in Mount Pleasant South Carolina just outside of Charleston where the weather is warm and humid all year round and suited to the cultivation of orchids. I’ve been familiar with their scent for years.
The colors of these orchid petals (in the fragrance) are pink blue and purple. This is a thin weak scent and you first get the chemical aroma and the water before you get into the orchid smell. This is my only problem with it. It’s so chemical. But then again most perfumes don’t really do a good enough job of duplicating the realistic orchid scent and the perfumer/noses rely on fantasy notes.
This is also not very long lasting so it’s good for spraying into the air in your home and walking around under it like a light mist. It is also very good for hair spray. I let it just settle into my hair after spraying it in the air. Smells very nice, clean, floral, sweet but not too sweet. Definitely mature. It is also somewhat tropical.
Rather than depending on those Glade room sprays I am using Demeter Fragrances because I love the line and how they take their time in recreating so many different scents. Orchid is pretty nice if not the best orchid scent. There are countless of orchid scents in mainstream perfumes and niche perfumes which I have yet to discover but I’m really enjoying the simple innocent sweetness of this fragrance.
Good for spring and summer!

Pleasantly smelling light floral fragrance. Orchid or not, but very nice. Demeter, please, only do something with the lasting power!
