Peachy and mossy, soft but with that uneven feeling that’s so typical for chypre scents. At the beginning I get velvety peach peel and some green notes too but the further the softer. It’s not overly fruity, with just a warm peachy halftone.

ORCHARD was created in a “Create a Fragrance Contest” held by Neil Morris Fragrances…the winner would have their scent produced by NM.
As a reminder here is Louise’s submission:
I stumble upon a near-abandoned peach orchard while hiking. The air is a bit dusty and dry and the heat radiates around the old, gnarled trunks. Somehow, the neglected trees have bloomed, then produced glorious juicy fruit, which is fully ripe, but not yet fallen from the branches. The scent is full of the bright peach, a touch of dry peppery wood, green sapling shoots, and the richness of a sweet loamy dirt. Name=Orchard. Potential notes=Peach, galbunum, osmanthus, pepper, hay, moss, patchouli.
As a contestant in that contest, I am anxiously awaiting my sample of this and also eager to review it here for everyone to know about.
This was launched at the Sniffapalooza Ball in NYC, just last month (October 2011). Kudos: to Ms. Louise and also to Neil Morris for letting perfume FANS have a hand in the creative process!
