Description

Orange Blossom was created in 2003. It was inspired with stay in the hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, or better to say, with its romantic atmosphere from the times of colonial Spain.

The scent of dewy leaves of clementine stretches over the delicate floral heart, composed of orange blossom, and water lily.

The top notes are cedrat, green notes and clementine leaf. The heart is composed of orange blossom and water lily, while the base of orange blossom and lilac.

All Jo Malone fragrances can be combined with others of the same line. The Jo Malone house says that Orange Blossom can be combined with White Jasmine & Mint or with Blue Agava & Cacao.
The Fragrance Combining Palette can be seen at Jo Malone web site.

The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Delville.

A very juicy and sweet well done fragrance by Jo Malone. I was expecting something like nectarines for some reason. This is the floral blossom part of the orange tree. It’s sweet and floral with light orange in the background. It’s sweeter then I had expected it to be. My bottle which is vintage and has turned darker orange has tremendous strength and lasting power. Sometimes I think I get a wiff of Orange Pez candy. It’s a win in my book!

My hometown Shiraz is famous for it’s almost countless gardens. It has multiple streets smelling entirely like flowers, blossoms, and fragrant plants during the lovely month of May.
The orange blossom note in this takes me right back to the 14 years of my life that I spent there. Truly authentic and natural. Purchased a full bottle for my mother right after I smelled it for the first time.

I love orange blossoms, and this juicy scent from Jo Malone is so enjoyable to spritz in the hot summer. It does open up with a burst of clementine juice and orange peel oil, like peeling a “cutie” for a snack. Then it quickly becomes a sheer and watery orange blossom with a slight laundry clean aspect underneath (I’m thinking that’s the lotus and lilac) – but not in a harsh detergent way, more like rolling around in some sheets that are fresh from the dryer. It’s a refreshing scent, but I’m not sure I would ever spring for a bottle – the longevity and sillage are low and I’m still working my way through several samples of it.
So, it’s a love for me, but with reservations. If this cost less I’d buy a big bottle and spray it during the day to get those juicy top notes.

I love the way Jo Malone fragrances are so straightforward. Smells like beautiful orange blossom and clementine juice. This fragrance is happiness in a bottle. I’m in love with this scent and can’t get enough of it. I know that Jo Malone fragrances are not for everyone, but this house seems to be able to do no wrong for me. I don’t like big surprises when I blind buy a fragrance (who does right?) This is really the only house I will blind buy from because their fragrances are so linear.

This is a very realistic fragrance, so true to its name. Sweet, simply orange blossom, almost a soliflore to my nose.

This was another blind buy from me that i regret…you see culture and climate plays an essential role in whether we like or loathe perfumes…as to where i hail…this fragrance resembles some flowers that we use for the funeral…so when i wore this everybody was like…..who died??? Uh uh…it was a no….any way….the lasting was poor…and i certainly wont rebuy this again

If you want the same thing in an “intense” format:
TRY Commodity Nectar! Holy sh*t ! It’s Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom on steriods!

I’ve really been loving all things orange blossom lately, so I was very excited when a friend gave me a sample of this. It starts off very sweet and citrusy, which I really liked, but then the lilac takes over and pretty much dominates the fragrance. I don’t dislike lilac at all, but it’s just not what I expected. I wish the orange blossom phase lasted longer.

  11. :

Even though it smells lovely just like a fresh orange blossom bouquet, it lasts so little that it’s advisable to purchase it only if you are looking for a perfume for intimate and personal moments.

I searched desperately for a scent that smells just like an orchard of orange trees in bloom and finally found it here. Living in Southern California I get to enjoy the real thing but only for a short time in spring and it’s one of my favorite smells. This allows me to enjoy it all year long. Not very long lasting (as expected of an EDC) and sillage is not very impressive but that’s okay because the scent is just for me and my slice of olfactory heaven.

How does one write a negative review without insulting someone’s fav scent?
To be honest I get mildly upset when I see reviews bashing my fav scents calling them horrid names. It’s like leave my precious scents alone!
With that said I need to leave my first negative review on this site. Whether it’s to track the scents I’ve sampled or just to get my frustrations out on something I thought I would love, I feel compelled to.
Let me start by saying I love Jo Malone. I own a few fragrances, body care and linen sprays and I love them. However, there is one scent I absolutely cannot stand to smell – I’ve tried it on paper, I even sprayed myself (instant scrubber) and my mom (interestingly she loved it) and its Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom. I find the orange “juice” smell weak and instead I get an intense floral that I just can’t be around. Is it possible to have an aversion to orange blossoms? If it is, this is probably what is happening to me.
I’ve never worn it long enough to test sillage or longevity, and was a little upset about not liking this scent, as I love oranges and orange scents. Just wasn’t for me.

This is my favorite Jo Malone scent and one I reach for the most. It definitely has a pronounced orange blossom scent but more. It’s not an overpowering scent, so I like wearing it when I go to work because I know it is not objectionable. I really hate smelling other people’s aggressive fragrances. When I have a headache, the last thing I need to be assaulted by someone’s fragrance. Many colognes, Jo Malone’s included, smell fantastic in the bottle but turn on me. Once I was at Macy’s. I sprayed a perfume on my wrist and in 15 minutes, it smelled like cat urine. Not exaggerating. So I always have to try scents on. It’s a great excuse for asking for samples without feeling guilty and like a greedy lookie-loo. Anyway, this scent smells great. For as long as it last, which is not very long. After a few hours, I can sort of smell it if I smash my nose to my arm.

Running in Tucson in the morning in the spring when the orange trees are blooming – this is so realistic.
    Good silage and long lasting.
    The perfect orange blossom fragrance.

I have a natural orange blossom absolute and Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom does indeed feel like the real thing – albeit enhanced and more lovely.
It has a fairly deep white petal floral-ness, but not sweet thanks to green notes which lead it in the direction of eau de cologne but stop short of that simplicity, also a thankful lack of vanilla. I’d say it’s actually mildly animalic and quite sensuous in its way.
It’s ideal for a simple, pretty and natural perfume choice – when you don’t want to feel too dressed up or obvious.
For orange blossom kicks I’ve tried Seville au Laube, Escale Portofino, Bottega Venetta’s Knot, Elie Saab Le Parfum, MFK’s APOM, Prada’s Fleurs d’oranger and Lutens Fleur d’Oranger – Malone’s Orange Blossom is easiest to wear of all these, though less elegant than Knot, less pretty than the Prada, less intense than Seville Au Laube, nicer than Escale Portofino and far more natural/less in your face than the MFK or Elie Saab. I’d actually rather have this than any of those. It’s definitely one of Jo Malone’s best.
Uplifting, easy on the nose, lovely for summer days and nights.

this is a pretty light scent. i was gifted several samples by another fragrance lover.
the only thing i get from this is orange -genuine blossoms ripe on the limb-ripe with pollen-very ripe and realistic-i was surprised-i was expecting something more synthetic-but this is very realistic to me-my mother loved orange blossoms-and i can remember them as a child-and this brings back so many good memories
1 spray is plenty-any more and you will over do it-and it will be too overwhelming….lasts at least 6-7 hours and then became skin scent-i still catch a whiff here an there 8 hours later.

I’d like to suggest a less expensive way to wear this fragrance. You can buy the bath oil ($65 for 8.5 ounces) and dab it on where you want. I learned this trick from my mom who used to do the same thing with Chanel in the 1970s.
By the way, this scent is awesome!

Oh how I love this perfume! It’s a bright happy blend of clementine and light white flowers. It’s slightly zesty, subtly floral and utterly feminine. I just wish it lasted longer on my skin…I can’t justify the price for something that only lasts a few hours on my skin.

My first JM scent and it’s beautiful amazing feminine elegant fragrance. Here in Sweden everywhere in this time you can smell the lilacs white and Lilla lilacs in the street and this perfume it’s mean Sweden for me together with the hint of orange blossom witch I compared with Sicilia nice comparison:))))) vell I am in love with the longevity and silage it’s very good on my skin, definitely a romantic scent

A sweeter take on the indolic white floraly smell of orange blossom.
It has a soft sweet orangy opening, then it gives way to the white floral orange blossom, while the sweet orange note stays on the back.

This is my happy scent! I can not be gloomy or stressed when I’m wearing this! I wear it with the body cream and it lasts all day with a beautiful natural clean sillage. It’s so fresh and invigorating. It smells like the detox paste that was put all over my body when I had a body wrap done at the spa years ago! I always loved that scent and never forgot how great it smelled and Jo Malone orange blossom smells exactly like it. Orange flower, tangerine, clean, happy, fresh and very energizing. I think it’s worth every penny:)

Does anyone else find that the formula is different in the US and the UK?
I had a bottle that I bought in the UK, and the smell lasted all day, in fact I would get compliments on it from people sitting a few feet away at least an hour after I put it on, and my boyfriend would always comment that I still smelled of Orange Blossom when I came home in the evening.
However I recently bought a bottle in NY and I feel like it’s water! It’s nearly noon and I can barely smell it on myself. Is it my imagination or do I have to go back to London to buy the real thing?

When I layered this fragrance with lime blossom, it reminds me of innocence, spring, soapy, floral garden walk.
This layering is one of my favourite layering ever!
On its own it’s awesome and easygoing with my other collections in the brand.
Classic yet special, although you might’ve thought it’s only another orange blossom in the market, but this one is quality , simple, clean, authentic orange blossom.
This fragrance smelt dominated by orange blossom of course but the dry down is what makes the skin scent pretty or to make the layering interesting!

I really really wanted to like this because when it was paired with wood sage & sea salt, I really liked how it smelled on my skin. I left the store with one 30ml bottle of this and started getting a massive headache when I arrived at home. The first sniff is really really good, it really does smell like the flower of an orange, but after a few seconds, it smells really bad, it made me nauseous, I just wanted to take it off from my skin. Now I am left with a brand new bottle which I dont know what to do with

After five years of coveting this cologne, I finally bit the financial bullet and bought myself the 100 ml bottle. If money also grew on orange trees, this would be the fragrance I’d choose to bathe myself in daily. Just beautiful.
PS – I had a code to have my bottle engraved for free. I was surprised when I opened the package and saw how microscopic the script was – you can hardly see it at all. Just an FYI if there was anyone out there considering forking over the extra $30 engraving fee.

UPDATE: I cannot afford to keep replacing my one single bottle of this (sigh) BUT I have to say that this is the longest lasting Orange Blossom scent you can buy!
I get a few “all day whiffs” from this bottle that is several years old already!
Sooooo beautiful and natural smelling. So worth the price!

For me smells more of massage oil.

It smells like you’ve peeled a tangerine next to a pot of Chinese jasmine tea – in a good way!
Fresh and clean and very natural-smelling, it doesn’t smell chemically at all. I like it.

Very happy with my new perfume! Optimistic, fruity floral orange blossom! I was hesitating between this one and Lancome’s O de l’Orangerie, but I am very happy I chose this instead. I had a wonderful surprise after a few hours, as it reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie l’Eau, my first and true perfume love that has been stupidly discontinued. It has the same simplicity and that something special in the drydown, that becomes a very natural white flower animalic note. I liked the opening of O de l’Orangerie that reminded me of Miss Dior, but the drydown became too candy-like. Jo Malone also smells more natural and of essential aromatherapy oils as opposed to chemical. The main difference between Miss Dior and Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom would be the flower note, you can sense a very realistic Orange Blossom while in Miss Dior it was a more generic white flower (but oh, what an exquisite flower – it was gardenia, but not an intoxicating gardenia). It also smells more grown up, Miss Dior, even if it was refined and sophisticated had something youthful about it and was less sharp. I have a crush on orange blossom, as I have lived in Rome and the smell under Giardini degli Aranci in Spring was the most beautiful there is in this world, and I can say this perfume does a great job at interpreting that smell.

I live in a cold climate and keep potted citrus trees indoors just for their wonderful scent. This perfume is the closest thing I have found to the smell of those trees in bloom. Unfortunately, it is just as fleeting!

  41. :

The initial impression is very sharp almost acrid but dries down lovely and soft white blossoms that smell good but are very soft and hard to smell

If you prefer your orange blossom fragrances to be delicate and fruity then this is perfect for you. I personally gravitate to the sharper, greener, bitter side of orange blossom and neroli, which is the opposite of this, but still find this extremely lovely. It obviously smells of orange blossoms, but also immediately sent me back to images of sitting under my grandma’s apricot tree in the summer while they perfumed the air with an intense apricot aroma. This definitely put a smile on my face.

RE: As per the bad and mediocre reviews on here:
In my opinion the bottle should have a warning label:
“WARNING: USE OF THIS PRODUCT CAN MAKE ALL YOUR TROUBLES MELT AWAY. MAY CAUSE JOY and EXTREME HAPPINESS. THOSE ALLERGIC TO GIDDINESS MAY WANT TO DISCONTINUE USE. ”
    So there!

  45. :

Nope, not a fan. I feel personally betrayed by Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom, since it’s the perfect orange blossom in the bottle and upon application, but turns bitter and weird after 15 minutes on me. And yet, the high note of perfect orange blossom was still there, despite whatever undertone crept up. I had to wash it off in Nordstrom because it was too distracting and started to give me a headache.
After the failure of L’Artisan’s Séville à l’Aube (orange nerds candy don’t exist irl, but if they did, they’d smell like that; EDIT: no longer a failure) and Lush’s solid Orange Blossom perfume stick, I’m starting to think maybe that scent is just not good on me.

I have a sample of this perfume along with several other Jo Malone scents. As I have said on my other posts, I have fallen in love with the Jo Malone fragrances. I ordered Several more sets of samples from Amazon. I am wearing the Orange blossom right now. While it’s not my favorite, its very pleasant! I live in Southern California. It seems like almost everyone around here has an orange, lemon or lime tree. When they blossom, the fragrance at night is just amazing! I keep mu windows open so that I can smell it. Anyway, I will be adding this to my collection.

Orange Blossom by Jo Malone has really captured the essence of this elusive citrus flower– pure and tranquil. Resilience and optimism are two words that come to mind when I smell this fragrance. When worn together with Jour d’Hermes and the White Jasmine and Mint body creme by Jo Malone, the most captivating everyday scent is created! Truly magnificent! I’ve gotten countless compliments 🙂 Better yet, it makes me feel aristocratic and regal.
PS: the longevity and silage are one of the best in the Jo Malone line (7 hours with body creme)

  48. :

    3 out of 5

I’m ambivalent about this perfume. On the one hand, it’s perfectly lovely with great longevity and genuine smell of orange blossom. I feel expensive when I wear it, too.
On the other hand, the lady who practically shoved the bottle up my nose to get me to buy it leaves me feeling disgruntled whenever I wear it. I’m pretty sure I would have been booted out the door had I said anything so offensive as, “I’m just looking, thank you.”
An unwanted purchase, but not altogether regretful.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Not too orangey like what I thought it’d be, this is exactly something I want, I personally dislike scents that are too sweet. A very clean scent, I will use this in spring and autumn myself. One of my JM favorites.

  50. :

This could easily be my favorite every day clean, fresh, island (I live in hawaii) perfume BUUUUUUT it turns a bit bitter! Whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy?! Even the body cream does this. I so want it to stay exactly like the initial spray. I’ve been spraying it in my hair and that has been helping. I just love it so much that I’m going to keep trying. Purest, cleanest orange blossom.

Jo Malone Orange Blossom is a very summery scent for me. Reminds me of my trips to South of France and I am so in love with it in the summer but in the same time it has that British signature that I like so much. Is not too floral, not too citrus, not too girly, not too elegant, just the perfect balance. I am so in love with British scents in general, it’s something about the powdery trail they leave behind and the simplicity that make them oh so special.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

I JUST WANT TO ADD: The longevity on this frag is AWESOME.
Neroli is a delicate scent & can get lost so easily — Jo you really did this one right!
Sprayed my t-shirt last night–went to work–came home–put the shirt on tonight and generous whiffs were there on me!
This is still a Neroli wonder. Worth the price ! Unisex too!
P.S. Aromatherapy Books Say: Neroli is an “anti-depressant” and great for people in “shock” or states of panic. No wonder I am always in a good mood when I wear this !

Too orangey. This comes from someone who likes orange. Sometimes a bit musty orange blossom. I thought I liked orange blossom. Same with someone I know. Certainly nothing like natural orange blossom. I’m sure there’s much nicer interpretations out there. Not worth the money. I was surprised to see it listed as having more than 2notes. Its not deep…its not light. Im aware Jo malone encourages you to mix scents and this would surely need 1 or 2 others to make it more like a standard perfume although I still wouldnt encourage people to get it if they did like orange blossom and wanted to do this. I dont like leaving a negative review but this is my experience.

  54. :

    4 out of 5

Sweet natural orange scent softened by slightly powdery, velvety flower petals. Simple prettiness for spring and summer days. Rather light and lasts only about three hours. Although all Jo Malone scents are reportedly meant to be layered, this one I think is the most versatile for that purpose.

  55. :

    5 out of 5

The opening is divine, even better than the actual flower (with sweet juicy orange peel); the best in all of orange flower fragrances that I’ve tried (Trust me I’ve been looking around). Unfortunately the dry down turns into a vague citrus green powdery floral that can only be labeled as “pleasant.”

  56. :

    4 out of 5

I can’t rave about this. It’s just not the kind of orange-blossom scent I like. Too much orange. Then it merges with… laundry powder accord? Anyway, eventually it ends up smelling pretty identical to the real flower. Which I do like. But on the whole I prefer Jo Malone’s LIME-blossom scent, because it doesn’t hit with quite such high notes.
[A side note: the outrageous pricing is not completely Jo’s fault. She sold the company to Estee Lauder in 1999, and they succeeded in keeping the price high in accordance with inflation and niche pricing. However, if you take a look at Jo’s new and self-governed brand “JO LOVES”, those prices are even higher. You are paying for “luxury”, not just a perfume, people!]

Clean and fresh, smells like summer. Loved it right away, but was unsure if it was too feminine for a man to wear. I tend to layer it with either Lime Basil & Mandarin, or Blackberry & Bay, both from Jo Malone. That tones down the floweriness and makes it more green – uplifting, positive and warm.

  58. :

The King (or Queen?) of all Neroli / Orange Blossom frags. Sweet Perfection. Nice longevity. Just complex enough to hold your interest but no so much to make it messy or over-stated. This is the only frag that gets my $100.00 for a 3.4 oz bottle. (I only wish the bottle had some more color or design to it). From the first blast this is unsurpassed heaven in a bottle!

  59. :

I wore a sample of the body cream on my wedding day. It’s pure orange blossom – creamy, sweet, citrusy white floral but with a very fresh, green note that gives it an almost damp and cool feel…like morning dew on flower petals. I fell in love with it immediately and thought it was a very appropriate and traditional choice for a wedding fragrance. I think it would be nice year-round, but it’s so lush and singular that I’d make sure I was wearing something feminine and slightly dressy when I had it on. ☺️

  60. :

It’s lovely… but it’s also linear and doesn’t last. Considering the cost, I wouldn’t bother.

It only smells like one note. Orange Blossom.. It’s nice but not very interesting or thought provoking. I need more than what it’s delivering. Its so blatantly floral. Granny.

Such an amazing fragrance, I can’t stop saying good things about it! It is my favorite perfume amongst the small collection that I’m building up. When I was growing up in China, there was a man on our street who sold bracelets made of fresh orange blossoms threaded together. That was almost 20 years ago and till this day I still remember the faint fragrance of those bracelets. I didn’t know what flowers they were back then but a sniff of Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom cologne by accident one day made me realize immediately that this was the flower that I’ve been looking for the whole time. In my opinion the longevity for this perfume isn’t too bad as I could still catch whiffs of it hours later, but then again I’ve always been drawn to more subtle scents, so the ladies who prefer stronger scents may not think that it lasts long.

  64. :

I’ve been looking at this for a long time, but didn’t buy because I already have so many orange blossom and neroli perfumes (10 FB’s and 3 I blended myself). However, a fellow fragrance lover recently suggested I try it, saying that the drydown made it unique. How right she was! The addition of lilac to the base was inspired, and gives a finish much different than the usual woody or musky ones. I purchased 3 spray samples, and intend on getting a FB very soon!

My friend passed this on to me and Initially I thought it was a bit plain but Its been really humid here and that’s when this simple linear orange blossom scent hits the spot, so cooling and refreshing especially in the evening, perfect for those rare (in the uk) summer nights.

This is a seriously green orange blossom. Very simple but gorgeous!

Jo Malone’s colognes are designed for layering, or so they say, however this particular scent is something I enjoy most on its own. Orange Blossom is a very simplistic yet elegant representation of the whole orange tree.
If I happened to add this fragrance to my ever-growing collection, Orange Blossom would be one of my go-to scents for Spring and Summer. It’s very citrusy and crisp with that delicate hint of lush white flowers.
As I’m already a fan of similar scents like Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, Prada’s Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger and Mademoiselle Fragonard, it’s of no surprise that my adoration for orange blossom continues with Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom. I already knew I would love it even before I had the chance to spray it.
The only thing that stands between me and owning a Jo Malone is the price and the cologne strength concentration of her scents. I can’t seem to validate a reason to splurge on such an expensive yet poor lasting product. It’s odd that the body creams tend to last better than the fragrances themselves.
One day when I have an easy to dispose of income I’m sure I’ll add a few Jo Malone’s to my display cabinet. Until then I will enjoy Orange Blossom from afar.

This is more like “Orange + blossom” than it is “Orange Blossom.” Mostly orange/clementine/citrus with a floral background. If you’re just expecting the scent of actual orange blossoms like I was, this won’t be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s nice, though. Very fresh and natural smelling.

hands down my fav scent of all time!!! really fresh and clean, i love mixing it with my other jo malone scents and it seems to go with anything. only complain is the longevity, it seems to disappear on me within 30 mins when applied alone, 1 hour top when applied over orange blossom body cream….what a shame, but other than that, i LOVE this cologne!!!!

This is just gorgeous, a beautiful scent which is rich yet fresh and smells just like real flowers and not in the least synthetic. I’m not usually a fan of Jo Malone, generally think it’s overpriced, overrated, colognes don’t last well and that you’re paying for expensive packaging. However I was given a voucher for a big birthday so had to find something. After several trips to the shop and unsatisfactory tests I finally found this and it’s been well worth the trial and error. I have it as a body lotion which I think works well, as a previous reviewer said, it is exactly what is says – orange blossom flowers – and will smell great layered under some of my scents with orange top notes such as Elie Saab and Armani code. It is also great on it’s own – as long as you’re a fan of orange blossom, which I am. Lasts very well as a body lotion, subtle and close to the skin and surrounding me with a cloud of orange blossom. What an uplifting tonic! It’s a rich body lotion but not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. Don’t know what the lasting power of the cologne would be like but may try when I next travel abroad and can buy some at the Manchester Airport Duty Free.

Very true orange blossom with a natural, light sweetness (from clementine?). Like everyone said OB is a quality and lovely offering. However it’s so linear and many other houses have worked out beautiful orange blossom perfumes that I don’t see a point of getting this. Sure you can go for it if you never own a nice orange blossom themed frag, but I’m very happy with my 30 dollar Gandini orange blossom and leaf –to be honest the latter has a green twist that keeps it more interesting in the long run and has better sillage.
Bottom line: don’t expect more than what the name suggest or you’ll be so disappointed.
    P.s. It’s a good layering scent though!

This smells EXACTLY like tangerines & honey suckles on me. The top note is a very sweet orange scent & then the honey suckle sings thru as the notes phase thru. It’s a pleasant scent but not for me. It messes with my allergies.
Some say it smells like Nectarine & Blossom but not on my skin. Nectarine & Blossom has a sweetness that cuts thru the white flowers in Orange Blossom. I love this because it doesn’t mess with my allergies.
Some say the scent is tropical, I can see that as far as a tropical “garden” versus tropical coconut etc.

Wonderful soft citrus that just doesn’t last on me. I always have to reapply after an hour or so. Stays close to my skin, which is fine, but I do wish it had a little more projection as I think others would find it enchanting, too.

Luscious, mouth watering fragrance! Truly gorgeous orange flower scent that is sweet without being cloying. Very natural smelling – like you just ran your fingernails over the rind and crushed the flower between your fingers. Sillage is moderate, longevity on my skin about 2 – 3 hours. Can’t get enough of it! Have worn it for days and never tire of the burst of freshness!

This scent is clean, sweet but does not make you feel suffocated at all, compared to Love Story/Chloe. I sometimes find it too simple cause i hardly sense other scents in addition to orange blossom. I still like it but will try to layer it with other colognes from Jo Malone, perhaps blackberry and bay?

Wow! This is an amazingly beautiful scent. Hey, Jo! Can’t you bring that price down a bit?!

I really love this. I have two orange trees in tubs and this fragrance hits their flowers scent right on the head. So fresh but not harsh. The sillage is moderate and the longevity 4 hrs tops. I tend to prefer a scent that will hang around but I forgive this beautiful scent.

Jo Malone Orange Blossom opens with strong neroli scent, very much like sitting under an orange tree in bloom. I also get a scent of chevrefuille or honeysuckle bloosoms. Then citruses and green notes come in and notes of other white flowers. I detect notes of gardenia and some jasmine. But this scent does not become creamy like those florals usually do. It retains a green vibe and an almost minty menthol scent becomes dominant for a short time in the mid-development phase as the indoles, green notes and citruses come together.
This point in the development may not agree with some, but it smells clean to me, like freshly cut stems ready to be put into a vase. Afterwards the scent moves pretty steadily to a longer lasting soft powdery lilac dominant final drydown, but retaining the citrus and green notes in a less dominant fashion. As a neroli, lilac, gardenia and honeysuckle lover, I think this is full bottle worthy. If you are expecting only the scent of neroli you may be disappointed in this fragrance. Sillage is minimal exce
