Description

As an announcement of spring, Avon is launching a new fragrance for women, Only Imagine, composed of dashy fruit notes and delicate flowers enveloped in a sensual musk veil. The explosion of invigorating notes highlights playful femininity and offers a new composition in a romantic flacon.

Top notes of the composition accentuate refreshing and slightly sweet notes of green apple, zests of which light up the charming violet notes in the very heart of the fragrance. This is the first time that 100% natural apple extract was used, and it created charming hues joined with the violet scent. The green apples and violet petals rest on a sensual veil of musk in the abuse of the composition.

The flacon is available as elixir with a beautiful tulle flower on the neck of the bottle. Pink iridescent shades on the body of the bottle announce the contents and theme of the romantic edition. The fragrance arrives as 50 ml Eau de Parfum. Only Imagine was launched in 2013.

I like it very much! Never tried before until recently when I’ve bought a bottle EDP.
Is strong soon after spray it but gets more soft. Is very pleasant scent. Floral, fruity and fresh ( at least to me). My husband approved and he normally doesn’t like perfumes lol
Not sure about silage yet I afraid and staying power, I will only be able to talk about that later.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – apple + raspberry + violet + musk
    Drydown – violet + musk + cedar + currant + sandalwood
    Duration – 2 hours
    Projection – soft
Experiences – I’m discovering that I do not like powdery + sweet scents. This is very, very powdery, and sickeningly sweet. Projection and longevity are also quite poor.
Quick Thoughts – powdery, sweet, nauseating

    the bottle is amazing
the scent very uplifting and referishing
the only drawback is: the sillage is very frustrating 🙁

I bought this little gem around 7 USD. In my opinion it smell quite like DKNY be delicious but not in the opening. Top note of Only imagine I smell some herbs and sharp green bitter scent but DKNY opening is more citrusy and flowery. I can smell sharp green note around 15 minutes and after that it become DKNY.
Longevity is awesome (I think it’s better than DKNY) 12+ hours on my skin I sprayed in the morning around 8.00 am, in the evening I went to the gym and came home around 9.00 pm and it still smell good. A hint of powder and sweet floral mixed well with my sweat from workout.
I think this one is worth if you want to try. Price is reasonable compared to good quality

Its unfortunate that so many people don’t get to experience many if any avon fragrances. Sure there are many that are terrible but there is equally as many or more than are actually beautiful scents at an amazing price. So this is NY newest purchase from avon, picked it up today! I will start my review off by saying that I can see why so many people think this could be a dupe for DKNY Be Delicious, it definetly smells near identical at certain phases of the dry down process to be delicious. This certainly has that bright, green, fruity vibe to it. I find its very good with longevity as well-well, today is just day one wearing it so that may change but for now this is good all around. If I HAD to give one flaw or something I did not like…its the cover! The inner portion of the cap got stuck to the bottle when I took the cover off. It was pretty hard to get it off after that

The initial spray on my skin is a very bitter green scent that isn’t very pleasant BUT after 20 minutes, it changes to a very nice green apple with a hint of sweet floral which I love. The bad news is that the scent only lasted about an hour. I like to layer it with the shower gel & lotion at night before bed (unfortunately the lotion is so watery and lightly scented that it doesn’t help build or sustain the fragrance). Overall I’m glad I purchased this but once I’ve used it up, won’t repurchase it. **I also agree with others’ comments that the dry down is very close to the DKNY Be Delicious.

This is a classic case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover! The bottle, the advertising campaign and the colours on the box pretty much sum up everything I generally can’t stand in a modern scent, however this is actually a very fresh uplifting scent for warmer months and to me is an almost green floral. Definitely very similar in flavour to DKNY delicious which I also really love but this has less of the slightly dreary lily of the valley notes and more violet. I also really love the raspberry note – two of the only fruit notes I can enjoy (green apple and raspberry) paired with a beautiful musky sandalwood base. So easy to wear a great grab and go scent for when you can’t decide what to wear. The bottle is an embarrassment though – what is with that neck ruffle and patterned cap? All I can think is they are trying to make it look a bit like Marc Jacobs Lola which I despise and this fortunately does not smell like at all!

This is very DKNY-like. Since DKNY has made so many variations on Woman/Summer/Be Delicious/Energizing I can’t say exactly which one Flor Violeta smells like but this fragrance lives in the same neighborhood. There’s plenty of sparkly apples, it’s not powdery or overly musky at all, simply fresh. Perfect for spring and summer.
I think that this is a great deal for someone who wants DKNY but doesn’t want to pay the price. I noticed you can get a nice FV set for $28. DKNY is over twice that price.

Veru cucumber-like. Similar to Be Delicious indeed.

Upon wearing it for a few days, I can honestly say that I love Flor Violeta. (Its name in the US.) This is a fruit-laced, fresh floral that is lovely without being too noticeable. The green apple and violet work surprisingly well together – this is not a powdery violet note. Sometimes, I just want to smell nice without too much complexity or drama. I won a free gift set, and I am so happy I gave it a chance. Yay, Avon! Flor Violeta is my new workday fragrance. (Okay, it’s also my lying on the sofa hugging cats, reading, and drinking coffee fragrance.)

Got this one yesterday. It has some similarity with be delicious but non with ralph lauren whatsoever. I smell the apple very clearly on this one and just a hint of some flowers that I can not identify.
I smelled it on the Catalogue before I got it and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived.
The lasting power is ok, about 3 to 4 hours. Very casual and easy to wear.
With all this said I prefer this to be delicious because there’s something a bit more interesting to it.

This is called Flor Violeta in Canada. I think it smells very similar to DKNY Be Delicious, but a tad more powdery. The green apple is clearly the most prominent note, with violet contributing that powdery touch. I can also smell a bit of the peony, but that’s about it. As for the bottle, I think it’s a bit silly. In real life, the tutu is not nearly as fluffy as the photo here. It gets flattened down from the constraints of the box. The tutu is removable with a bit of effort, and I think the bottle looks better without it, although you will be left with a large metal ring around the neck to accommodate the tutu. This scent smells like it would be most suited to warm weather, it has a bright, fresh crispness about it. Definite like for me.

For me, the fragrance smells more fruitier and gets more floral when you sniff it more but I can’t explain what kind of fruit I smell first in this one. Yeah, you can smell apple at first but you will smell the sweetness of the raspberry in the end. Then for the flowers, I can’t say what flower stands out in this. The clear thing in this one is it really smell musky. I like this one so much. For the bottle, I like the frills but it’s hard to spray with it and I hate the design of the lid on the top beacause I think I have trypophobia (fear or disgust of holes) and I really shake when I see it lol.
EDIT: I smelled my hand again after one day and I’ve already distinguished the flower I smelled. It was the earthy violet scent ! This fragrance is for girls who wanted to smell sweet but not in the sugary way, but in the way that they will smell frash through the whole day

The bottle is cute but I don’t like it, it reminds me of Perfect Cotton (always Avon) wich is discontinued..
    Really really similar 🙁
Not very bad, but on me is only kind of flowery, musky scent but nothing defined or special..no green apple or violet..only sort of an undistinguishable mix of flowers..
    Anonymous, don’t know why..
Anyway, it’s not for me.. ;-)))

Today i went to visit my grandma (76 years old) and she absolutely LOVES AVON! =) She always has samples of the new perfumes laying around and she always offers them to me… but… I usually refuse them because i worked for Avon for a few years in my early teens and i think i overdosed on their fragrances… LOL Today however i got a few just to test them out, see whats new on the block =p
Anyway, i really went off on a tangent there =)
Back to the main subject – the perfume =) what a quirky fun bottle! I must say its very unique looking and thats always a plus in my book. The fragrance itself starts off very green aquatic, almost cucumber-salad-fresh like, but after a good half hour or so it dies down to a more rich warm flowery musky smell. It sticks very close to the skin and thus i would say its an office-casual daytime scent… understated elegance is what comes to mind =)

Opens with tart apple and some vague berries. Strong violet and powdery musk in middle and dry down.
    Lasting power: low/moderate
    Sillage: low
Smelled familiar, did a side by side with Treselle. There is something very similar about the two. Although Treselle has some pepper in the top and Only Imagine has the apple tartness; really in dry down they are very similar.
The colour of the bottle is quite attractive, but I took my tulle frill off. Honestly, would be difficult to grab and fiddle with it.

It looks cheap, doesnt last long but its ok for the money. Good to try if you like dkny be delicious fragrance.

Fresh smelling and fun, but lasts a
very short time. Watch for eBay offers for all four layering products… Just for a relaxing bath and bedtime scent. Spring in a bottle!

When I saw this perfume on special offer in the May brochure I just couldn’t resist ordering it. I received it yesterday and am very pleased with it. Firstly, the bottle is so gorgeous! For me the frilly tutu is a cute feminine touch. I sprayed it on all my pulse points after showering this morning, I got a little bit of zesty apple that embraces the violet blossom lovingly. if you love violet then you are sure to love this. I have a bit of an obsession with violets. I have noticed most of my loved perfumes have this in it. The only downside it that it doesn’t last long enough. it has the longevity of about maximum 2-3 hours on me. luckily this baby wont break the bank. especially if you buy it on offer. totally worth it. makes me think of a fresh dewy spring garden.

I have Avon Naturals Body Spray with violet and lychee and I have a sample of Only Imagine, and I am wondering whether they are the same.
Where is the green apple note? It is usually easy to smell, but I don’t find it.
This is a very pleasant scent but I feel I already have this, in body spray.
The bottle design.. ehh..I hate to be negative but I think it is tacky.
If you expect a fresh green apple scent, you will be disappointed. This is a soft violet.

It’s like my garden very early in the morning. The grass is dewy, the sun is rising slowly and the scent of apples is lingering in the fresh wind (which has a touch of snow, a touch of freshness). Only imagine and feel…
Fruity, floral, refreshing scent. It’s not the usual sugar sweet liquid Avon provides, it’s the summer morning in the bottle.
It’s sad but after 30 minutes I don’t smell it anymore. Perhaps it’s my skin…

    Not bad but nothing special.
Usual purple flower with musk and honestly i get nothing with green apple, cute bottle design.
    End of the story.

The bottle is pretty with shades of deeper purple and rosy pink – like a water color painting. The bottle is pretty enough without the tutu. I love the shades of purple and pink which is in keeping with the romantic theme. The glass bottle is nice to hold — reminds me of Sarah Jessica’s Lovely. The first note I smelled immediately was green apple then followed by very headache-inducing alcoholic violets. The violets are not powdery nor sweet. I’m used to powdery musk but the musk used here is very sharp. Overall this scent is not soft to me. It is more like scented alcohol. (No, I think this is not similar to DKNY which is sweet citrus) Just my opinion that I like to log here to remind me but please have a sniff if you can…to each his/her own.
One and two sprays on me,
    Sillage: fairly close to skin
    Longevity: about 2 hours
    Rating: 0/5

It’s floral yet crisp, clean, fresh, and soft. In the U.S. it is being sold as Flor Violeta featuring Mexican-American actress Kate Del Castillo. It is a very nice fragrance for a summer day

Mine arrived three or four hours ago and I applied some immediately. It’s still going strong and without being overwhelming, seems to have a good lasting presence.
Definitely spring like, and different from a lot of recent new releases.
Only a vague trace of powder, quite musky, (in a floral, rather than animalic way) and the violet notes are fresh and prominent and it does open with a lively hit of apple.
I think the frill around the bottle is cute, overall it’s a nice production.

This sounds like a refreshing summer morning: zen and bright! Anxious to try. Glad to see some compare it to DKNY be delicious!

I have this one. The bottle is cute and pretty, and the scent is exactly like Be Delicious. It lasts really well for Avon. I like it very much.

The tutu on top reminded me a bit of a combo between Vera Wang”s Lovestruck & Betsey Johnson’s Too Too. The bottle itself looks beautiful, and I have a feeling alot of people will agree that tutu was unnecessary in it’s presence & appearance.
I would love to smell this, musky, powdery apple? sure!
