This is a lovely, soft, clean scent that sits close to the skin but lasts a surprisingly long time on me. This fragrance would be perfect in a work setting, business meeting, or parent/teacher conference. It’s very warm and sophisticated.

Rich, beautiful, sophisticated and by far the most impressive of Bvlgari’s Omnia range. I used to wear this when it just came out and finished my bottle rather quickly because this perfume is so versatile. While it is definitely more day than night and more spring/summer than fall/winter, it works almost any time and any place.
Will definitely be buying this one again – great gift and great fragrance to have in your collection!

Just received it from my sister. the opening notes reminded me of a nice, expensive soap.
Then, I could smell the amber and citrus. Yet it is quite a nice, feminine, close to skin scent. Can’t wait to try it during the day and in the fall!
Can’t comment on longevity or projection yet. But I can’t stop smelling my wrist either 😉

You must be a perfume connoisseur and ‘the nose’ to appreciate this fragrance. It is elegant, sophisticate therefore it will not appear to common nose, or average persona looking for ordinary, mass pleasing scent. Omnia Indian garnet is a soft scent with well balanced notes.

Beauuuutiful scent that has me grabbing for it almost every day! Not to mention this line of perfumes has the coolest looking bottles. It makes me feel put together and puts me in a good mood. Such a balanced perfume it feels like a hug! It’s like the daytime version of Coco Madamoiselle. Highly recommended if you’re gifting it to someone. It suits all ages and all occasions.

I just received this from my subscription service today and have to say that I really like it a lot. I love all kinds of Oriental, Woody, spicy fragrances… I’m obsessed with scents of the Middle East and incense. This is definitely spicy and it faintly reminds me of the Old Spice men’s cologne from years ago but not as strong. As a matter of fact the reason why I don’t love this scent is because it’s so light I can barely smell it on my skin after having spritzed it 3 times! Knowing this I don’t think that it’s going to last very long and I will probably have to reapply it many times throughout the day. Otherwise it brings me to a really warm place and it is very pleasant and appealing as I would rather have a mild perfume than one that gives me severe headaches. I don’t get masculine from this at all, maybe it’s my body chemistry I just think it’s a really beautiful perfume that evokes images of sunsets and a strong Red Sky maybe a desert or an outdoor Market selling Persian rugs.

It’s note so easy to make a fragrance with spicy and to call it “Indian”. India is famous for very spicy food etc It doesn’t sound Indian to me. Almost not spicy.
Intriguing name and disappointment in result.

This is a relatively unrecognized masterpiece! Rich and potent– I have never sniffed such a perfect blending of orange and amber. Dark and elegant for autumn and winter. Remarkable longevity– I could still smell it on my wrist the next morning. Sweet perfection in an unusual bottle.

The saffron in the opening can irritate your nose or cause sneezing for those sensitive to it. It is a very safe and just pleasantly clean scent with warmth to it once it dries down. It is a bit mature smelling. This is not bad though.
I find it subdued and demure, yet classic. It is complimentary to those with a body chemistry that doesnt work well with the very warm, sweet, or floral perfumes.
It reminds me of precious memories with my grandmother.

I really don’t think this has anything interesting to say. Light and boring. I don’t like it, but I like garnets and this scent notes suits the stone, somehow…. Weird contradiction.

Omnia Indian Garnet is yet another flanker in the long line of Omnia scents that line the department store shelves. The Omnia range has been either a hit or miss with me, with some being more memorable than others. Omnia Indian Garnet is certainly pleasant, but unfortunately quite forgettable.
This fragrance opens with a citrus burst of orange, mandarin orange and sparkling osmanthus. It sets itself up as a warm weather scent early on in the composition, however it does develop into a rich ambery scent towards the drydown.
Omnia Indian Garnet is not nearly as spicy nor as exotic as the official fragrance description suggests. To my nose it’s a very wearable citrus-amber scent with a subtle hint of tropical sweetness.
This fragrance didn’t last particularly well on my skin which was a shame, however for an EDT I suppose the longevity was adequate. I would most likely reach for this fragrance on a warm Summer’s evening as the ambery base makes this fragrance quite comforting and sensual.

I love this precious perfume, I feel it resonates with my soul and spirit as it is a perfect split between modern/vintage. It makes me appreciate the past and easily accept the new. I truly find it magical, uplifting, and grounding at the same time. I have never smelled a living osmanthus flower, my imagination has me thinking, that might be the magic in this one. I do love pretty much any citrus blossom and any type of jasmine, could be good for anyone who gravitates towards those scents. Really feminine and feline Thank you for creating this Alberto! xo

Indian Garnet is saffron, orange, amber, and musky sweat. I have a love-hate relationship with this one. The tiniest amount can be very sexy and magnetic, but if you get too much on, or on the wrong day, it can be disastrous.

    O. M. G. Distracting. Surprising. Unbelievable.
I cannot for the life of me believe this. Is this ?
Really? The inconspicuous little Indian Garnet
EDT by BVLGARI that has me scrambling around
remembering what I have on? This is why I write
this review. Record keeping. Coconut, orange,
exotic jasmin – all in ONE, a gourmand heaven –
like something from the Kilian line, but costs an
oz of spare change? What the ugly bottle kind
of conclusion is this? I wanted to dislike it, alas
BVLGARI Indian Garnet just kept calling out to
me sO I said fine. Wore it to bed and I wasn’t
annoyed. Then… comes the next day – and …
now (the next day is now) she’s got me! GR!!!

This perfume is floaty and ethereal. At the same time there is a silky smooth undercurrent of the most pleasing addictive scent- indescribable! Like you’re walking around in a mystical garden following a scent you know is bait to ensnare you. But you can’t help follow it!
It’s the first Omnia I’ve tried. I don’t get the notes pyramid on this. Oranges? Definitely the sweet part, maybe a touch of zest in opening.
If I had to guess I would say lotus, sugar-water and cedar with some almost succulent mellow fruit note like apricot, but I think that could be the sweet osmanthus.
Sweet/ succulent in such an addictive way. Understated and quiet. One of those pleasing and lovely soft fragrances, and I find it lasts forever on clothes. Like for days. I agree with others who say this is quite underrated.

    Oh this one…
My boyfriend bought me this fragrance, and at first I was disapointed it´s an Eau de Toilette. Then I smelled it for the first time and I liked it but I found it too soft, too mild… thought I was the kind of fragrance that dissappears in 2 – 3 hours…
Scent: this is all about an exotic orange… it´s warm in a delicate way, somewhat soapy but just slightly.. there are flowers dancing around the orange indeed, and woods at the base. I figure there must be some spices too, but I don´t find any at the list of notes here.
The fragrance is a sofisticated but soft take on an oriental, there is sexiness to it, but not “in your face”.. you have to be close.. yo have to linger within the scent to feel it.
This is an exotic lady with a golden tann on her skin, wearing a delicate orange dress, on her bare feet.. she wears no make up.. she doesn´t need it.
I find it versatile, appropriate for any casual and semi-formal occasion, outdoors, indoors, all year round. I tend to grab it more towards the months of fall and spring, but really, I have worn this all the same on winter and summer.
A young adult might find it “too serious”, “boring” or “mature”, but I think it depends on her personality.. As an example, I started wearing this occasionally when I was 22, but at 26 I started using more regularly.
You can safely wear this to the office, to a job interview, to a casual dinner with friends or a date.
I truly wish this came in an Eau de Parfum… that would be a game changer for me!
A beautiful scent like this should come in a stronger version.. only because it does not project that well, I would definitely not pick this for a wedding or a very important event where I need my fragrance to perform.
But taking sillage aside, this scent does match a wedding situation beautifully! A pitty..
Bottle: does not blow my mind, does not bother me either.. I´ll give it that it´s original.
Projection: soft… you have to be close to catch it.
Longevity: surprisingly high for an Eau de Toilette.. about 7 hours on me. Amazing! The thing is that I stop smelling it after 2 hours, so I feel like it has already faded… then 3 hours later some random person tells me how good I smell and I takes me by surprise. Well done Bulgari!
Lovely, delicate, I have never come across a dupe for this and surely I would like to keep this scent forever in my collection.. but the price is too high for an Eau de Toilette that comes in 80ml… I don´t see myself repurchasing it just for that reason… with the same money I can bring home a bigger bottle of an Eau de Parfum that projects way better!
I would buy it if I came across a nice discount hahaha. Totally recommend it if you can afford it.

This fragrance is not oriental. I had a sample of the Omnia Indian Garnet and every time my skin smells like soap. And the other half is delicate, ethereal, slightly with the hint of oranges and wood notes, the amber is not at all. Not like Pure Poison. According to me, it is not similar to any known scent.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

    Two things:
    1) I cannot smell this on me, at all. Maybe a hint of “something” but that’s it.
    2) I have been complimented by random strangers twice today, asking what i was wearing. They couldn’t smell it until they were standing right beside me — I was in the grocery store.
Apparently, this is a winner for me. Just wish I could smell what the fuss is about lol

  19. :

This wears on me very similarly to Omnia Crystalline. It turns to a skin scent rather quickly
And dries down to a very clean, warm, soapy fragrance with a strong tea note. I think it would be wearable year round for everyday casual wear or as an office scent. I’m surprised this isn’t more people’s signature scent honestly–it seems like the kind of perfume that would appeal to many different kinds of people.

I dilly-dallied about buying Indian Garnet for months. I would sample it whenever I had the chance but couldn’t make up my mind about it. I loved the scent – especially the zesty orange ‘bite’ – but I wasn’t sure about the longevity. Sometimes the scent just seemed to fall apart on me after only an hour or two.
Finally, my husband – probably fed up with my indecision – surprised me one day with a bottle.
I am so happy that he did. I am truly enjoying this. True, sometimes the scent does not last on me. But othertimes it does! Sometimes hours later I will catch a whiff or someone will ask me what scent I am wearing. I honestly can’t predict when it will last or not but if needed I just reapply. The scent is soft and discreet enough that I can do that without fear of applying too much so as to be overwhelming.

I’m a picky perfumista, like the rest of you. And I can see the reasoning behind the critical reviews of Indian Garnet. But having recently bought Indian Garnet as a blind buy at TJ Maxx, and having worn it for weeks now (and getting compliments), I must give it two thumbs up.
Yes, I like the original Omnia, and in fact still have a bottle, and still wear Omnia. No, I didn’t like the other Omnia flankers. But this one? I’m dousing myself in it before bed, and wearing it to work every other day. It’s true that I’m a sucker for a well-done orange scent, and a sucker for orientals (if not so much for florals). This one is not an oriental, not really, not spicy enough — and the orange definitely dominates. But it does have a piquant undertone. Yes, it is also subtle — and tasteful, like the rest of the Bvlgari line: the Bvlgari perfumes can sometimes be so tasteful, light and refined that they lack excitement. Yes, Indian Garnet lacks strong sillage. But orange-based perfumes, not matter how light, usually have a bite. Indian Garnet too has a bite, and a lingering-on-the-skin zesty yet mysterious, cologne-like effect. A bit on the sweet “feminine” side, but could be unisex. My husband said it smelled good, but like scented soap… If Indian Garnet DOES smell like scented soap, it’s a &^*%ing lovely scented soap! …. For me this perfume is a pick-me-up: it makes me feel both relaxed AND more energetic.
Finally, it’s an excellent scent to layer with other orange-centered or orange-containing perfumes. In one experiment I combined INDIAN GARNET + Hermes’ ELIXIR DES MERVEILLES + Hermes EAU D’ORANGE VERT. Here the Indian Garnet cut some of the intensity and straightforward “masculine” sharpness of D’ORANGE VERT, and L’ELIXIR added a sexier “rotted” orange, a fougere quality, and other interesting layers, including chocolate. I loved the resulting rich, bold, and sexy combination.
So my take on Indian Garnet is: if you like orange and its many olfactory facets, and if you like orientals, and if you like “tasteful” discreet scents and unisex scents, don’t be afraid to pick up Indian Garnet. Layer it, sleep in it, or wear it by itself when you need to be subtle rather than obviously sexy. Of course, as with most Bvlgari perfumes: prepare to re-apply fairly often.

It’s almost a year I have 1.4oz of omnia indian garnet and it’s the first time I’m actually wearing it.it’s my forth omnia, after amethyst which I love and coral which I dislike and crystalline which was not bad but not my type so I gave it to my sister in law who loves aquatics.I like indian garnet more than coral and crystalline but I can’t say I really like it very much
It opens orangey and this orange/mandarin note stays all through it’s development but it’s not a sharp, juicy, sour or bitter, acidic or too fresh citrus note.amber gives it warmth and sweetness and a light touch of saffron makes it a little spicy.I can’t detect tuberose or a real osmanthus note but I can feel something floral beneath saffrony orange.woods are soft and subtle, sort of sandalwoodish and provide a creamy base.so all in all on my skin,it’s a soft creamy orangey floral, bright and pleasant
Saffron and amber bring an oriental to mind but they’re not strong enough so it leans more towards a floralfruity but a sophisticated one
I see it as a summer&fall scent, warm and sunny, uplifting and soft.it’s a skinscent on me and has very soft sillage.I’d like it much more if it had some potency since I find it pleasant and inviting,a simple scent which has character
Stays for about 4 hours on my skin and gradually becomes even more pleasant (unlike coral which isn’t bad in the opening but I hare it as it dries down)
I’d use up my bottle during this summer happily but when it’s gone I don’t think I’d miss it
    ❤❤❤

Lovely but just not for me. I have a 50 ml available for swap, sprayed maybe 3-4 times. PM me if you’re interested (US only please).

The initial opening smells like a citronella candle. It becomes a bit more complex and spicy as it dries down. I gave this scent a few different tries and I eventually came to love it. This remains heavy with citrus to the end but it has a degree of depth and richness to it. I’d say it’s one to be worn with confidence, a statement, for special occasions.

This reminds me of me on vacation in the summer time.Just got out of the shower sprayed a bit on my neck and my hair and ready to go out for a walk in the middle of the town with wet hair when the sun is going down.I’ll probably buy a little jewel bottle for these moments.I don’t like the original omnia bottles.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t get any citrus notes – not in the beginning and certainly not in the end. Orange? I was so surprised when I read from here that it contains orange. I would never have guessed by the smell of it!
After hour or so it starts to remind me Bvlgari Au The Blanc (one of my old favourites!). At the beginning it does not have anything similar with this scent. But the end – twins. Maybe this only happens on my skin?

  27. :

This smells like high end hair spray to me. It’s not terrible, but it isn’t something I’d buy a full bottle of.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

I love the original Omnia. This smells sharp, almost like a liquid hand soap. Very citrusy, with some standard designer floral notes thrown in. Barely Oriental Floral to me, but it warms up eventually. The sharpness never goes away completely, but at least it improves. I don’t need my perfumes to be very sweet, but maybe a touch of sweetness would have balanced out the sharp citruses

  29. :

    3 out of 5

This doesn’t register to me as a citrus perfume, as the orange is more hazy and cloudy versus bright and sharp. I mostly get creamy spices. It’s the best of the omnia series, though I appreciated the powdery Amethyste version as well.

I just got this and I really like it. It’s a more wearable less intense Armani Code, it has that orange note that I love. Not citrus, but a creamier orange. Just a very pretty feminine perfume. You could wear this to a doctor’s appointment or if you work at an office or in a closed space, I think this wouldn’t offend anyone, but people would know you smell good. Definitely a keeper.

You’ll get your fair share of compliments wearing this. It’s fresh+salty+beach+coty pret-a-porter but better sillage. It does have a soft, delicate dry down. Try it on first. You’ll either hate it or love it.

Tried this one blind without looking at any other comments or description. First impression was this is a spice based perfume not floral. Quite a strong initial rush of something spicy that caught at the very back of my nose but this disappeared very quickly. I did pick up fruit. Only after a few minutes did I realize it was orange. The citrus tang just didn’t happen for me. The sweet spiced orange scent developed after a few minutes on my skin and is very pleasant. I like it. Not very strong on me and it doesn’t travel far but it lasts on my skin quite well. Soft and expensive smelling.i would wear this during the day.

  34. :

Tested this fragrance the yesterday and I asked if it is an oriental fragrance. The salesman said it was a woody floral but my nose definitely says it’s a freaking oriental with floral scents. I looked it up today and I was right. Moving on, it’s an okay fragrance, a tolerable one. I can’t quite stand orientals. It smells mature but not too old but it’s just not for me. I’m better suited with Coral and Crystalline.

This smells absolutely wonderful on me. I get a very tropical feel from it, and it has lasted quite a while on me. I love Bvlgari’s Omnias = my favorites are Green Jade and Amethyst – and now, Indian Garnet!
I am not crazy about orange smells, but this truly knocked my nose for a happy loop. It smells nothing like orange juice (ok, I’ll admit I am not good at describing scents), but has a nice, musky type scent. I don’t mean it smells like it contains musk, but it has that close-to-the-skin, intimate vibe like musk does.
My description is not doing this justice – let me just say that I am really enjoying this. I got a good price on a tester, and am fragrantly happy!

Yum! That rich Bvlgari smell, that slight powdery that carries, love this Indian Omnia and love the Coral omnia, both have that bit of rich powdery that trails off….I have a few more Omnia ,but this and Coral are the best IMHO.

They say it is not long-lasting……well, I sprayed on me about 3-4 times in a shop in the afternoon, i took a shower later that evening and next day what do I smell at work?? Yes I could still smell it almost all day long after 24 hours + shower. I think it is veryy long-lasting but stays very close to the skin. On my scarf for hours i feel it intoxicating. But anyway, a really nice and unique scent 🙂 I just asked for it for Christmas 😉
*UPDATE*: unfortunately it causes such strong headaches….I never ever had headache from a perfume…..oh well, there goes the love.

  40. :

I feel like this perfume doesn’t get talked about enough, every time I spray it I can’t stop myself from smelling my scarf; it’s one of those scents that every time I smell it I can’t help but smile and feel good. It’s warm, woody, musky, yet clean, so cozy to wear. It’s not a sweet scent, but it has the slightest touch of sweetness to it, like if you took a section of mandarin and squeezed it-nothing synthetic or sickly about it. I find it hard to describe because it really is such a unique scent, it just sits really well on the skin. It reminds me of a crisp fall day. My one complaint like other users is that the wear time, to me it is what I would expect of an EDT after 5 hours I ave to reapply so I wish they would release an EDP but this is still one of my all time favourite scents.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

This perfume is so unique! It smells so cozy and familiar and at the same time I don’t know what it reminds me of. It’s a bright, happy smell that’s grounded by woods and amber. I do not wear it through the summer or spring. I find that it smells best during colder temperatures. It can easily become overpowering or overwhelming on a hot spring/summer day.
