Description

Omnia Crystalline is inspired by the perfection of crystal. It is delicate and gentle like the touch of flower petals. This sparkling Eau de Toilette captures the essence of frosted flowers. The top notes bring airy bamboo and exotic Asian fruit Nashi that has a very original and specific fresh aroma, similar to both apple and pear. The heart is ruled by soft and feminine notes of lotus blossom, while the base brings elegant woodsy notes. The fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas in 2005.

I wanted to love this scent, the first notes I got were the lotus and musk.
Very clean and refreshing, but as it dries down it just smells like clean laundry..
Slightly disappointing as I really enjoyed that lotus.

Majority of the notes in this one are just too light, too gentle for me. It is feminine and pretty but lacks of the “body” to make me feel “ooh” and “ahh”. All the good scents evaporated off my skin and faded quickly in thin air, leaving just a trail of strong musk and wood, and that was it. The dry down of the juice is quite opposite with the white bottle.

I used to work with a woman who smelled divine. Five years later, I sent her a text out-of-the-blue to ask what scent she was wearing back in 2012: Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, her signature scent.
I keep coming back to this one. It’s what I want when the heat of the outdoors or my hormones are turning me off to my beloved headier musks, or when anything that smacks of sweetness or edibility just isn’t cutting it.
    This is my clean scent.
At first, my impression when I tried it on my own skin was that it smells like a luxe dryer sheet, pleasant but dismissible. However, now I think there is a rich and effervescent cleanliness to it that smells like purity itself. So lovely.
A safe blind-buy for lovers of woody florals and aqueous (not salty marine) scents.

My signature scent! Omnia Crystalline smells so beautiful and fresh. When I first sprayed it I could barely detect any sweetness and it even smelled a little unisex, but once it was on my skin it turned a little warmer and sweeter. I’m lucky that fragrances have that effect on me and that my skin brings out the sweetness in them. I also only need to spray once and it lasts the whole day. The scent stays on my clothes for days, even when I didn’t spray it on them. Impressive sillage for something that smells so light. It was a pleasant surprise. Some might find this a “boring” or generic scent but scent is very personal and on me I find that it smells absolutely divine. It’s fresh, sweet, feminine and very classy. I don’t like my fragrances to grab people by the lapels LOL, I want them to smell it only when I’m in close proximity. My only gripe is that I wish it came in a larger size like 100ml/3.3oz as this is rather pricey. However, since this lasts a long time I don’t mind that much. I think this scent is lovely on most people and it’s suitable for women in their 20s and older.

    Beautiful scent.

This is another great fragrance by Bvlgari.
The initial smell is gin and tonic, but the dry down has a lovely light floral of almost a daffodil and lotus with a hint of moss.

Very pleasant. I wish it lasted longer on me.

If I could choose one word to describe this scent, it would be “classy.”
Today I found myself frantically looking through my fragrances as I got ready for a job interview. Nothing was seeming like the right choice and I was in a rush. Omnia Crystalline popped into my head even though I had never smelled it. I grabbed my 5ml dabber and went for it. I’d heard so many glowing reviews and I was feeling lucky.
I made a GREAT choice. This was perfect for my interview. I felt absolutely beautiful and confident. This had just enough sillage to make me smell fresh and sophisticated, but it wasn’t overpowering in the slightest. OC sits fairly closely on my skin, but I can catch a brief whiff of the most gorgeous fragrance with every movement I make.
OC is coy yet commanding. It is fresh yet sexy, sweet yet woody, soft yet strong. The only negative I can find with this beauty is that I have to figure out which of my 5 favorite scents I am kicking off of the pedestal to make room for it. Lol
So happy I finally tried this, a new favorite for sure!

Immediately after spraying I smell sweet pear and lotus which is amazing! When it dries down the musk comes through and about 6 hours later I smell the lovely woodyness. I also get the tea note in here which i love. I love the tea note in Flowerbomb as well. Omnia Crystalline is what I thought Gucci Bamboo was going to be. Turns out I hate Bamboo it’s way to soapy floral for me. Omnia Crystalline is fresh slightly sweet and woody. Love it!

    This perfume is so elegant.
Elegant, fresh, clean. I just love it!

How did I miss this lovely fragrance ??? I guess I scoffed it off as a very light fragrance but ohhhhh class all the way . Fresh and sensual . Long-lasting on clothes . This is surprisingly amazing on my skin . It is also long lasting and longer lasting than many edp I own . I am so so so happy with it. Signature status for me . I have been trying so hard to find a signature I have almost given up . This is just everything I have been looking for in a fragrance . I feel like conquering the world no matter what with this one .

Scent of money and rich woman 🙂
I love it ….. anytime I put it on… I feel like Alexis …from Dynasty..
    Money… power… wealth….

Barefoot Contessa I read that in some cultures women are reluctant to tell their perfume or make up brand. I guess they like being mysterious but I think it’s flattering to love someone’s scent.

This is definitely a fresh, clean, very femenine but sophisticated one of a kind perfume. It’s classy, I can’t get enough of the Aery bamboo and Nashi fruit. The perfect scent for summer.

Lovely and fresh are the words that come to mind. We were in Italy a few years back and one of our guides smelled divine. Her name was Marina. I asked her several times what perfume she was wearing but she didn’t answer me right away…I guess Italian women don’t like to divulge their beauty secrets? Anyway, after a while, my husband asked her too (maybe he liked it too or just felt sorry for me) and she finally gave it up! I’ve been wearing this ever since. I love it. I don’t want to be without it and have repurchased it multiple times for that reason. It just reminds me of a morning in Rome after a rain shower, and something I just want to keep smelling. There is a sweetness about it but not too sweet. So feminine.

I blind bought this and thought I’d give it a try. Now, I’m usually immune to fragrances and love almost all of them, but for the first time ever did I get a headache after smelling this. I don’t know if it’s the floral scent or the intensity of it, but omg did this make me regret buying it. The opening was the only good thing about it on me, personally. Tried taking a shower and the smell didn’t come off till ~2 hours after the shower.
    Try before you buy!

I just got this today after several testings, i decided that i love this scent. This is like a SPA experience, i feel the lotus and creamy white tea and some woody notes. Its very relaxing and calming, totally zen. Long lasting but close to skin.

  19. :

Cottony fresh, with delicate flowers. The general feeling is serene, pure, and calm. I imagine billowy fresh cotton sheets, and white flowers. I really like it, and would like to smell like this all of the time. It is light, and may need reapplying but does linger on your clothes. The price is also reasonable. I also really like the bottle. Definitely going to buy this one.

  20. :

Unfortunately, all I can smell in this is musk. The musk, the whole musk, and nothing but the musk. If I liked musk it’d be beautiful, but because I don’t this is not for me.
I will say that this is nice & fresh, I think someone could wear this for any occasion and in any season and it’d be nice. I can definitely see it as an office appropriate scent.
Also maybe it’s because I didn’t like it but it lasted 12 hours on my skin. Moderate for about 6 then died down to a skin scent, but it was still there.

  21. :

    This was gifted to me.
It’s a nice clean and fresh fragrance. Not precisely my cup of tea, but I’ll use it up.
I wear it after I shower, but since my body chemistry eats perfumes, this doesn’t last even 30 minutes on me. So basically zero sillage and projection on me, just like a body spray….

I just received this fragrance from my fragrance subscription service and I am so glad that I chose this one. I’ve been wearing it for about an hour or two now and it’s not bothering my fragrance sensitivities nor giving me a headache. It was Haunting me the whole time I was wearing it that it reminded me of something that I wore in the past. And now I finally realized it smells eerily similar to Estee lauder’s white linen. As I am experiencing this fragrance I am reminded of a woman who has money for some reason. I’m thinking of a woman who can buy the best and wears the best. It smells attractive in a clean way. It smells classy and elegant. I absolutely adore this scent for summer and hot days and warm nights. It’s a keeper! But what else would you expect from Bvlgari!

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Rather light and very beautiful clean scent. Initially quite sweet on my skin, I can feel the lotus, bamboo/green tea and pear notes. After a while it becomes more woodsy and a bit less sweet. Definitely a daytime fragrance, office friendly and won’t get on your nerves. The sillage is quite moderate and for me it does require reapplying during the day.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Omnia Crystalline is a very striking, steely fragrance. I first bought the EDP which smells, in my opinion, nothing like the EDT, and promptly returned it. I then purchased the EDT, which I love. I experience top notes of bamboo, english pear, white sugar, and a strong smoky metal note. Sillage is semi-moderate for the first 2-3 hr. Once the top notes fade, you are left with a sweet dark wood aroma that sits close to the skin. Definitely unisex, can be worn anytime.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

I like this, but the powder element keeps it from being a love for me. I much prefer the Omnia Crystalline EDP and the Omnia Amethyste.

  26. :

For me lotus fragrances had stayed in far 90th. So I can say that it’s light and delicate, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself.

I got this fragrance as a gift, many years ago. Best choose ever. I am using the 4th bottle now, still the favourit. Unfortunately I cannot distinguish the components, but is is a really feminine, clear, classy perfume. Beautiful.

I bought this for my wife, and we’re both liking it. OC is light and airy- I had to ask her to use more sprays. This is a chimera. Sometimes all I smell is that austere, watery bamboo note, and other times I smell the sweet nashi note coming through. Always lightly woody and transparent. Very nice! Perfect understated perfume for office/professional woman who wants to smell beautiful but never overpowering.

I just got this perfume and I have been wearing it for a week now and I absolutely love it. It’s a fresh, clean scent that I think will complement any season. It last about 4-5 hours on me.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

    its non-uniqueness makes it extraordinary.
the opening is crisp, whereby the rest relates to a delicate femme fatale – purifying neatness, tenderness, just a simple lightweight veil of beauty.
the wow effect occurs just hours later after drydown.
suitable for every season of the year.

A nice enough smell, nothing special but not offensive. Not a scent I reach for very often. Easy to wear.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Crystalline gets well deserved attention. Very clean, gentle, soft and feminime fragrance. Lotus is quite prominent and woodsy notes give it a nice background together with musk.
Perfect choice for spring and summer. It really does smell white and sophisticated.

Such a great scent! Light and fresh, would be perfect for summer. In the cold weather, I feel it might reveal its alcohol notes. Some people mentioned here, that the shape of the bottle is awkward, and there’s a risk you might accidentally spray it in your bag, I personally have never had any issues with that. I got it for the first time from my sister as a gift 7-8 years ago, when I was in college. Since that time, I kept on buying it again and again. It’s one of my signature scents, and I get lots of compliments on it starting from my colleagues ending with the uber driver: he said it smells really good and he’s gonna buy it for his wife, hehe:)

  34. :

I can see why this is quite popular. A nice musky, mystical, everyday sort of perfume. I got a strong musky tea scent from this. Do not be fooled by the light color of the bottle, this stuff is persistent. 🙂 This is so fresh and slightly cold to my nose. Although it is cold, it’s not harsh. It almost has that crisp feeling of walking outside after a fresh snow, breathing in the frigid air, but with some flowers (lotus). Maybe similar to a flower shop walk-in refrigerator mixed with a zen-like tea shop. The furniture and walls are all wood and it’s a very clean establishment. I would buy this if I weren’t trying to downsize my bottle collection.

This is what a fairy forest smells like first thing in the morning. This is such a pretty and charming scent. It pleases and calms the senses while remaining crisp and warm-sweet at the same time. You can wear it anywhere, and it floats around you like a gentle aura. Feels like there is something a little magical in it.
Far from boring, there is a nip of woods that intrigues the senses and adds a sparkle.
I love this! The Indian Garnet is floaty in the same way-they are both stunning. I guess I am a fan of Alberto Morillas creations. Please do try if you gravitate to smooth, airy, well rounded crowd-pleaser scents. It lasts a whole day at work, and longer on clothes.

One day my friend come to visit me wearing this and all room was filled with scent. I didn’t recognize scent so I asked. I decide to give a shot. So far I repurchase Omnia crystalline multiple times and it is one of strongest scents on me. I got compliments after few hours of wearing it and I never receive as many compliments on other parfumes as much on this one. It is beautiful, fresh, warm and clean scent.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

It’s quite overpowering (and smells quite sharp) if I get it on any clothing, but on my skin it acquires a subtle, very classy soap scent. It makes me smell like I’ve just walked out of a penthouse bathroom. I would say the warmth of my skin brings out the clarifying tea smell.
Hate it over clothes, love it on skin.

(review from a man, tested on my girlfriend)
Before I tested this one, I checked the scent pyramid, and I thought this will be a gorgeous combination of bamboo, tea, pear and lotus flower. But not. This is almost terrible. In the notes, I can’t smell too much bamboo and pear…The mid note is a very very sour tea with a little bit of lotus. In thy drydown I could recognise musk with a hint of guajac wood. The scent pyramid and the descrition said this is a wonderful fragrance, but this one smells like sour, pickled cucumber. Not too convicing
    – Classic spring/summer, daytime scent
    – Sillage and longevity are under the average, longevity maybe 4-5 hours
    – Try before buy
    Scent (open, top-mid): 4/10 (x2)
    Scent (drydown, base): 6/10 (x2)
    Sillage: 5/10
    Longevity: 4.5/10
    Uniqueness: 7/10
    Versatility: 7/10
    Total: 5.438/10

I gifted this one to my girl friend, as she really enjoys fumes with clean, fresh, floral accords in them. I liked this one when I first tried it, but it ended up being one of those perfumes that sat in my armoire, not being used. I’m into the big oriental spicy powerhouses, so I knew she would appreciate and use this little scent more than I would.

This one was my favorite in the university. Clean and warm, very feminine. It’s exactly what a women should smell like for me. I wish it lasted longer on my skin. Eau the Toilette is still one of my fev scents, bringing my lots of memories. I don’t like Eau de Parfum, don’t know why, sth in it makes it really unpleasant. But this one is love forever :).

  41. :

    4 out of 5

I would name this omnia office because it’s the perfect inoffensive work scent. Not loud, but lasts a good 6 hours which is impressive for a EDT. This is what I want gucci babmboo to smell like, but bamboo is too floral. Crystaline has a nice woodyness too it. I see the comparison to the blanc but that is less floral. This is a strong like for thise times when you want something light safe and pleasant. I often see this at Ross really cheap, and it’s definitely worth checking out.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Fresh sheet, clean linen, ocean vibe, but at the same time has warmth to it – I presume that’s the musk with the pear. I get a lot of pear from this, which I love and which makes it a unique scent. This is the epitome of femininity to me….soft but very deep. Lasts over a day on me – and that’s the EDT. Silage is medium. Perfect for anything from office to an evening out. Very charming

  43. :

This and Esencia de Duende? No way! Duende is less green, less sharp, no bamboo, and soft creaminess. This one is fresh, rather flowery-green, a bit fruity-zesty.
Lovely perfume though, especially for summer months! I must say I`m more of an original Omnia fan, but I`d gladly spray this on every sometime..

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Omnia Crystalline by Bvlgari represents the distinctive femininity of a woman in a world where men try to dominate. To my nose, this scent is tender, and like air, it’s very light yet its presence is easily felt.
When my sister owned this fragrance, I had no idea how generous she was on spraying it on herself at once, but her scent used to gloriously fill in almost half of our living room of about 40 to 50 square meters. When she left for Canada, I took her bottle and kept it in my wardrobe. There’s still some tiny drops of juice left in it. Not enough for one full sprit, though.
Sometimes, I reach for that old bottle not to perfume myself with it, but to let my nose experience that delicate fragrance once more. Maybe it’s the bamboo or the lotus, or both.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

This is a very clean and fresh fragrance, but it has an underlying warmth to me. While I can wear it in warmer weather, I actually prefer it at the beginning of fall when the temperatures start to drop, but I’m not ready for the heavy scents yet. It is a good transitional scent for the last days of summer when mornings and evenings are cooler.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

    One word : Inoffensive
If you want to smell fresh and classy, then this is the way to go.

  47. :

This has become one my my favorite spring and summer scents. Pear, lotus, and musk make a great combination! It’s such a light, airy, and beautiful fragrance.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Nice fragrance! It’s fresh deep and gentle. I’m not big on green notes. This is amazing and original I also love the unique bottle!

  49. :

    5 out of 5

It’s very nice and refreshing in summer.
When it’s that hot outside that most other fragrances smell a little off and overbearing, then it’s time for Crystalline. Crazy summer heat is the time to get her out to play. It smells fresh and airy, floaty and floral, and undeniably green and woody. Quite elegant really. It’s a no-fuzz, no-fluff, no-faff fragrance, yet delicate and feminine. I detect mostly musk and woods, something (greenish) floral as well. I’m not familiar with lotus nor bamboo but in my imagination they could smell like this indeed.
Other times of the year it fails to perform on my skin, smells slightly bitter, masculine for a little while, and then it’s gone.
Longevity is so-so, til now i thought it’s so shortlived that it’s dissappeared by noon. But today I detected it quite strongly on a cardigan I wore yesterday. Go figure.
Anyways, I seem to like it more and more over time, what a pleasant surprise.
But. The bottle… Geeeez!! Why, Bvlgari, why? Can’t you guys *do* something about it? Please!

  50. :

    5 out of 5

I just love this so much! You can wear it anytime. It gives the impression of a simple fresh fragrance, but it is really so much more. It’s so clean, airy but also a bit sweet and warm. I smell some coconut in it too though it’s not listed in the notes. You might think that it doesn’t last long on the skin, but others can definitely smell this on you when you don’t. This just settles so nicely and naturally. My friend said: “you smell like fairies!” when I wore it. I keep repurchasing it and when I’m out I crave it.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

Fresh, clean and elegant. Omnia Crystalline is a very fitting name! The fresh, feminine lotus is a beautiful crisp note. The bamboo is woody in a watery way and I like how the musky notes are just right. It’s light, crystal clear and there’s a lot of fresh air. I’d like to wear a white, chiffon dress when I wear this scent. If you’re looking for a deeper, less green version you should smell the L’Eau De Parfum version.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

“Synthetic white” with spicy, green and musk. Little bit sweet and soapy. After some time it’s less synthetic and more floral and woody notes kick in. Also there is little bit oakmoss in background. Oakmoss and musk gives interesting deep mossy spiciness. There is something bit rubbery.
It would fit with futuristic, clean, white, transparent style interior. Office friendly. Also this perfume would be nice while walking by sea or river in natural white dress. For me these type perfumes seem boring, but they can be nice in summer and when you just need to feel clean, tidy and inoffensive.

  53. :

    4 out of 5

I completely agree with everybody who doesn’t like the design of the bottle. Awkward and impractical, and doesn’t achieve any aesthetic purpose to justify such awkwardness. The top of the bottle is so easily triggered into spraying with the light tap of the finger. So many times I sprayed it into the air by chance, just reaching for some other bottle of perfume in the same drawer and sliding my hand over the top of this bottle by mistake. I don’t want to even think about bringing it with me somewhere. Only use it at home and be careful around it.
The scent itself is quite nice – warm, relaxing, gentle, elegant, expensive-smelling and lasting power and sillage is actually very good considering it’s EDT. I also think it somehow makes people around the wearer of this scent calmer and friendlier. Did somebody mention the word “ZEN” in their review of this fragrance? I could not agree more.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

At this moment this is my favorite perfume. It’s light, fresh, clean, airy, refreshing and absolutely lovely.
And I apologize for saying this to anyone that likes the design of the bottle, it is one of the most awkwardly designed.

  55. :

    3 out of 5

This fragrance is surprisingly very long lasting. I sprayed it twice this morning and after an 8 hour work day when my husband picked me up he commented: “hmmm you smell amazing”. Nobody will be offended by this fragrance and it elevates and energizes me when I spray it on in the morning. It is suitable for any occasion in my opinion, it can be both casual and elegant. Extremely versatile summer scent. Big Love!
Btw: You might not always smell it on yourself but others will.

  56. :

    5 out of 5

Every Bvlgari Omnia fragrance has been blowing me out of the water. It is so rare I find a perfume house/company that so consistently makes such fantastic combinations. There is a reason these are popular, after all!
Crystalline is what I always hope Calvin Klein fragrances to smell like. It is airy, fresh, modern, cool, elegant, chic, and versatile. It’s also a wonderful skin scent for the office, and clean without being too soapy. I am impressed with the lack of pandering to traditional feminine elements of rose, powder, or gourmand notes. Instead, Crystalline remains firmly unisex and has a distilled character of purity and light. The name fits.
On me, this fragrance leaves a little bit to be desired. Perhaps less lotus and more pear? Or is it too musky? I am not sure! But this would be a great addition to anyone’s collection, and a lovely alternative to the CLEAN line (for fans of this type of thing).

Unfortunately, it smells like Lysol disinfectant. Clean, yes, but harsh and sterile.

  58. :

Soft, light and clean. Perfect for summer.

  59. :

    5 out of 5

Crystalline is a beautiful “artificial oasis” type of fragrance.
It is too balanced and distant to feel natural, yet it is so calm, safe, undiverted.
It reminds me a lot of CK Truth – but this is a gentle and round version of it, lacking sharpness and that small bit of smokiness CK Truth has.
I get mostly lotus and bamboo resting on a soft clean laboratory musk base with some woody greenery peeking in.
It is absolutely great if you are looking for a minimal and unpretentious metropolis garden scent.
With 5 sprays, It lasts 10 hours on my skin, although it stays very close.

my favourite BVLGARI perfume. (the second is omnia coral). omnia crystalline edt os fresh, aquatic, with a woody note at the end…. I love it!!! perfect for spring, and for summer too. it makes me feel clean and fresh and relaxing and feminine at the same time, LOVE IT!!

  62. :

    4 out of 5

It smells like an expensive soap. I think this is what Gucci Bamboo tried to be but failed. This is not my kind of fragrance, but it isn’t bad. For a zen personality, this one will be surely agreeable. If one is looking for a noble aquatic floral with a green touch, this one may well be it. It’s clean, elegant and refined. It is just too low profile for me.

  63. :

    3 out of 5

totally incompatible with my skin and my nose, terrible smell of sweat, had to wash it off…

  64. :

    3 out of 5

Generic, simple, flat, weak, annoying fragrance. Soo obvious that’s trying to please everyone.
Second try: Smells like hospital plus cheap fake rose water.

  65. :

    3 out of 5

Omnia Crystalline is certainly light. It is what I believe water would smell like if it had a scent. A metallic note turned me off to it though. The dry-down is a lovely musk, but it is only detectable when I bury my nose in my wrist to smell it, which goes for most of the scent in general.
    Projection= weak
    Longevity= weak
Wear= innocuous, clean, office-friendly, gender neutral

I really like soft musk dry down. It is subtile, gentle, mature and classy, ideal for a day wear all year around. Definatelly a keeper.

If you want people of all walks of life and ages stopping you and telling you you smell great and asking what you are wearing then this is your fragrance. I had been on the hunt for a signature scent for years, that scent that draws people in and makes them want to envelope themselves in you. I’m drawn to the scent of floral orientals and that’s where I was always going, Angel, Chinatown, Nuits de Noho. I smelled nice but no intense reactions. I got a sample of this in my Birchbox, I smelled it and I thought “meh” it’s clean and fine I’ll put it in my gym bag and wear it after I shower. The first time I wore it I got three compliments. I wore it again and a man came up to me in the grocery store after I noticed him following me from aisle to aisle and asked what i was wearing because I “smelled so good and he could not get enough of of it.” Every time I put this on people stop me and comment, literally gush about it. A light bulb went off, I wear perfume to smell good and enticing to others not myself. I can’t really smell it once it’s on me anyway. I was playing to the the wrong audience all this time. I bought this and it’s been my signature scent for the last few years. The compliments keep coming! Not a week goes by that someone does not say something. Friends, total strangers, It’s almost embarrassing at times. Imagine you are talking to a person and they start sniffing and then lean in close and say “oooh, that’s you! You smell so good!” And you can tell they want to get much closer and nuzzle you but it’s completely inappropriate. This is a lighter scent and I switch to something heavier in the winter months (Omnia Indian Garnett) but I never get the same kinds of intense reactions. As soon as it’s consistently in the 60’s F I go right back to the Omnia Crystalline. It is my gem!

When we walked into the luxury goods store in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot, the sales associate was offering sprays of this scent. I was never interested in any from this line before, but I figured, why not? After one squirt on the paper, I was hooked. I could not believe I had never given this bottle a second glass. I think the bottle is kind of off-putting, but the juice is really beautiful. I will be purchasing a sample of this one to see how it wears as the warm weather approaches. This will be a lovely scent-memory from the wonderful whirlwind vacation we took this past winter to Disney in Orlando.

This genre of perfumery is not my type, but I blind-bought this today at Shoppers Drug Mart because I couldn’t resist the price. I bought the 25ml Jewel Collections bottle. It stuck out among the plethora of celebrity frags.
I like this. This is far, far away from my beloved heavy-hitters, but I do like this scent. It’s like a flowing summer maxi dress, elegant, sheer, breezy. I could easily wear this on a sweltering 28-30 degrees Celsius day. I just tested it on my arm, and it seems a bit out of place in February. I’ll write an update when summer comes around. Metaphorically, I have lots of cashmere sweaters and sweater dresses in my perfume wardrobe, and I needed some sundresses. This fits into my summer rotation nicely.

To give some backdrop, this genre of fragrances (ie. Light woody fruity florals) is not my favorite. Many times, they have a tendency to go too “detergent-y” or aquatic masculine on me. I was, however, inspired by the recent D&G Light Blue ads pushing Light Blue for the winter… however, since Light Blue has a tendency to go Lemon Pledge on me, I decided to venture out.
I’m familiar with the Omnia flankers, but never had interest in them because the bottles were unattractive & impractical. (Yes, silly reason, I know!)
However, on 2 separate occasions at Sephora, Crystalline was pushed onto me. On the blotter, it does smell a little too cold and crisp, but I was told that this fragrance really blossoms on the skin. I decided to get a sample so I could try for myself.
And I must say, it is a strong like for me. With my skin chemistry, the blend is light, yet noticeable, and it comes across very “pretty.”
The lasting power is about 4 hours before I need to retouch, and as others have noted, it lasts better on clothing than skin. Sillage is moderate – you will definitely notice someone sitting next to you wearing this, but it is not a room-filler.
Appropriate for work and office, as well a more casual settings. I purchased a small bottle of this, and think this will be in my regular rotation.
Overall, glad that I tried this, and I can see why it is so popular and has stood the test of time (still around after 10+ years!)

I love this perfume. At first I was doubting it because many people said the smell would be gone really quickly. But for me, it’s just perfect. Soft, fresh, airy, floral, and woody. Not to stand out but really beautiful when get close to my nose. I’m not a type of person who like to ‘scream’ my appearance. So this perfume really fits me. I also live in a tropical country with insane intensity of sunshine all year, so the last thing people want to smell here is the fragrance with too strong smell. This perfume really pleases everyone. It lasts 6 hours on my skin and still smells beautiful even on its last note. I don’t mind spraying it after 6 hours. Definitely will have my second bottle and even maybe this will be my signature smell.

Soft, unassuming, clean, yet a subtle sexy background vibe to this. I think this is a safe choice for gatherings and great for special events. I think this is a crowd-pleasing scent. More of a grown woman’s scent, in her 30’s or so. Definitely a refreshing change from all the candy yum yum fragrances that seem to be everywhere these days. Lasting power is good, not the greatest, but still good. I get a good 10 or more hours out of this. Usually till the end of the day, anyway. Not a fragra
