Meh. Had high hopes but just poor performance overall. Skin scent after an hour and then maybe 6hrs max
Seeder – :
Received today. The scent its top notch almost niche quality but performance was average at most. Projection was about 1 foot and for 1 hour then becomes a skin scent for 2 or 3 more hours.
At discount prices its worth buying.

So good.
+1 on the comments about the spicy opening and warm, sweet dry down. This has the same olfactor curve (think of how a scent tapers) as Bogart Pour Homme. I tested both on either hand, and they had identical vibes with a thick and sweet dry down. Lalique is definitely a different and better crafted scent, though.
Smooth, dense, warm and cool at the same time.
Projects well. Lasts well.

A reviewed below said it smells like masala and they are not wrong, I think it is the combination of fig leaf and mint along with the spices. This isn’t a bad thing in my opinion as that spiciness keeps the sweetness from being too tart. The scent dries down into a lovely oriental base that keeps going for 6-8 hours on skin. I love the implication of booze and the fig leaf really makes the scent unique in terms of spicy orientals.
9/10 Scent
7/10 Longevity
8/10 projetion (2-3 hours roaring)
Value 10/10 if purchased on discounters.

This is the real SPICEBOMB. A very spicy opening, for the first 10 minutes you will smell like an indian restaurant. But after that the spicy bomb is smoother and the rum and tobacco come in play. Great bottle and niche quality. Very difficult to find it.

Definitely NOT similar to GPH 2003. Too sweet, too smooth. GPH is smoky, dry, woody and spicy. Look at Bentley for Men Absolute. Its as close as you’ll get, even if its not exact.

Can more than one person verify that this is very similar to Gucci Pour Homme 1 ?

This smells very much like garam masala. I’ll have to give them credit for veering away from the sweet and safe Spicebomb territory, but if it entails smelling like Indian vegetables and meat dish, I’ll be still better off smelling like a cinnamon bun. I get too much cloves, cumin, coriander and allspice or something that smells similar, maybe fig leaf plus mint combined with the other ingredients. I don’t get much tobacco and cinnamon, and this isn’t cognac that I’m smelling – more like a “healthy” dose of pepper schnapps to get your blood flowing. If I didn’t have the food association, I would probably say that the spices are a bit too “sweaty”.

Tried it today, fell in love with it and bought it. It’s almost same like Gucci pour homme 1 but with more spices. Gucci pour homme 1 discontinuation was a crime but fortunately there are two perfumes that smell almost identical to it. Ombre Noire by Lalique and Bentley Absolute.
10/10 highly recommended

A perfected Osang. While Osang is very deep and beautiful, it is ultra niche and destined to be loved by a select few. Ombre Noire takes the skeleton of Osang and makes it appealing to the general public. Ombre Noire is very refined and balanced. I get no “rogue notes” at all. This is also very similar to Aomassai by PG which I love dearly. Very glad I blind bought this one.

Just got a bottle of this in, havent sprayed it yet, but based on smelling the atomizer, it definitely has some parallels with Mont Blanc Exceptionnel, less amber, more spice. I’ll update this when its not 90* here.
Update: This isnt related to MB Exceptionnel. It isnt related to Encre Noire, either.
This is a dry, woody, boozy fragrance.
Definitely dark sided but not unfriendly.
Pleasing, masculine, modern, however, not the most natural smelling.
Similarities to the dry and boozy BOIS 1920 Extreme.
Further away in comparison is Davidoff Zino, but without the patchouli.
Even further away is Costume National Homme, it shares the strong, dry woody, cedarish base. Thats about it.
Nice stuff, but dont pay big bucks for it.
A nice $40 and under fragrance for those that like fragrances sharply dry and spicy.

Summer is starting to rear its head here in SoCal… What I get is a warm tabacco boosy cinnamon. There’s a hint of mint almost like in Big Red gum, it hides in the background… Its rather natural than candy floss and nothing to fear. The fragrance is a perfect blind buy and I believe women would love this as well. Great winter, fall, and evening scent. i’d enjoy this on my significant other. Not ground breaking but a very pleasant fragrance. It can be found here in the States on Max Aroma.

Spicey spicey spicey! But after 10 min u will get the wood with some kind of sweet rum/tonka but definitley not that sweet, cedarwood in the base, but the spicey/cinnamon/olibanum never goes.
Niche quality we r talking about,it has 20% pf encre noir (maybe cuz of the woody notes) for the manly niche quality, woods spicey fragrances lovers it will work for u absolutley, and for 1 million/invictus/sweeet bubble gum fragrances enthusiasts,. i’m not sure!
I add it to my collection to face the next cold winter!
Hope u enjoy my review

I have an update.
A couple of other friends spoke to representatives from Lalique. The company said that there are no plans to release this in The U.S, and that it does not sound like there will be anytime soon.
Pretty dissapointing. 🙁

Just got a bottle today in India …
Opening is spice blast … Dry down is minty with light tobacco … Its unique in its own way . I will like to layer it with some rose scent to enjoy a Spicy Rose Scent which is my personal favourite now days .
Quality of the juice and bottle is top notch and again and happy to get a Rare Fragnance in my collection .

Can’t buy it yet in U.S.
I even tried to see if Zaharas would get me a bottle, and they would not do it.
It will make it over eventually. I continue the search and make others aware of any news.
