This has instant appeal. It is resinous and quite piney – not quite as evergreen as Fille en Aiguilles by Lutens for example, but as much as Sensuous Noir by Estée Lauder. It has a smokey, spicy note but also noticeable florals ans fruit. For me, it is something of an osmanthus – apricot – plum kind of note which keeps this softer than many other piney-resin scents, and brings it into the same world as Tom Ford’s Plum Japonais.
This is excellent but the compromise is with longevity. Nonetheless, with all the different sized bottles, it would be easy to throw one of the travel atomisers into a bag to top up. The brand also encourage layering – I also like the Osmanthus scent if you wanted to make this more floral and fruity or the Myrte for an extra ambery herbal layer. Very nice.

Sweet mother of Piney Incense, they have given you a name, and that is Olibanum Parfums 137. I luv you!!! Yes people, I luv this fragrance! This is an EDP fragrance which comes in a 15 ML spray bottle as seen in the picture. I ordered this one blind from the official website. And it was soo good I ordered a second bottle of it right away!. You HAVE to LOVE sweet incense and pine in order to enjoy this fragrance. To me this is perfect even beyond my expectations. This is rather strong out the original bottle (be aware that sample vials, even the original ones my smell a bit lighter and less sweeter). The liquid itself is kinda sticky upon spraying. It’s incense, incense and more incense with pine, delicious sweetness and some sweet florals. From where does the sweetness come from? I don’t see anything resembling sweetness in the listed notes. Oh well, who cares!
I’d consider this an affordable range of niche. I wonder why more people haven’t talked about this fragrance yet. In the meantime you will find me here enjoying the olfactory experience of this fragrance.
