My boyfriend has colorful descriptions for perfumes. He calls this one “Dr. Pine Tree”.
I will say that there is something piney in the beginning. Ode to You is sort of an aromatic, green, bitter and shrubbish scent.
Most dominant notes being galbanum, angelica & vetiver. I do smell a bit of orange peel, and that’s nice. Kind of freshens things up a bit.
I like it. Smells very “woodsy”. Unisex leaning masculine.
Warm / woody and bitter / green at the same time.

I’ve noticed that this little Indie house seems to do a lot of copy cat perfumes.
This one just so happens to smell almost identical to Malles French Lover / Bois d’Orage.
I’m going to say 95% similar only because I feel like it might be missing some minuscule ingredient. Or maybe not! Either way it’s extremely close and French lover is 6 times more expensive for less juice!
I’ll tell you why I did t but a bottle of this though. I love French Lover, and even though they smell is close, FL is thicker and fuller. More dynamic and overall feels higher quality.
The performance on this is average. It sticks in your skin for about 6-8 hours, but i feel like it only projects for the first 2 hours if you’re lucky!
So if you want French Lover on the cheap, check this out!
