London is finally free of snowfall today and so I decided to enjoy the day. The sun was out and there was a gallery talk at the British museum about Greek civilisation and Minoan art which I went to. The talk made me yearn for spring and summer to come soon. I decided to walk towards Covent Garden and had coffee at my local cafe, it started to drizzle. Glad I am warm and cozy with a cup of latte.
As soon as the drizzle fizzled I decided to head to the National Gallery…but my eyes noticed the decorated doors of Rituals. Seemed quiet. I decided to have peek. I was immediately drawn to their fragrances and a lady showed me different bottles and scents.
When I smelled this fragrance it brought me back to spring rain back home – warm Philippines. I decided to buy myself a simple gift which reminds me of my other home by the sea. As I walked towards the National Gallery, I thought — this is a FUN day to be out!
I just want to share my experience of how a simple fragrance can make any day better. This is not about if this fragrance is gorgeous or not, if not this is a simple and uncomplicated fragrance. For me it smells of tropical rain which I love! This brings back fond memories. This is the reason why fragrances are made, to seal memories and bring it back to us.

This was a scent I liked at the opening but once it dries down, the scent disappears. The longevity is really poor on this one.

Clean fragrance with a light wooden note. The bouquet develops well (just give it 15 min), it has shadows, i feel that “fresh spice” and some very light citrus in it:) It brings you a long weekend feeling and calms your spirit like a meditation.
I’m not a fan of floral fragrances, but this one has that spicy-woody intrigue in it and brings lovely calming feeling.
