I was able to find 125ml bottle for a discounted price of $23. It does smell amazing for the first 15-20 minutes then it becomes contemporary generic scent. After the dazzling initial blast it is very similar to Coach for men as they share leather, citruses, geranium, coriander, vetiver, lavender and amberwood. If you like Coach then blind buy this.

i have to apologise upfront as i cant really help explain how this smells but i have to register how unbelievably mesmerising this scent is. just so unique ive not ever come across anything similar. performance is top notch as well.
an easy masterpiece

I never knew how gentiana smelled like and I wanted to find out. So I ordered a sample.
The opening with citrus, coriander seeds and beautiful gentiana is simply mind blowing.
With sadness I agree with others that the longevity is below average, after a few hours, only a hint of woody accords are there. By then citrus and gentiana vanished completely.
I did not order a bottle but I love my sample. It brings me joy every time I smell it. 🙂

The top citrus and floral mid notes are unbelievable and unique. One of the most sophisticated openings that you can get in a designer. Sadly, this beautiful dreamy phase doesnt last more than 30 minutes then you will end up with an average synthetic woody base that is not so special. It is worth the experience given the cheap discounted price (30 $/ 75ml)

I think I’ve just about found my perfect fragrance in Austral Expedition. It has everything I love in a men’s perfume: realistic citrus, a hint of sweetness, woody base, a touch of classy florals, and an x-factor- that note of uniqueness that sets it apart from the herd. The x-factor? coriander and gentiana create an opening that is at once fresh and unique. Absolutely invigorating combination of fresh top notes and earthy undertones. I get similarities between this and Nuit D’Issey with the vetiver, tonka, and leather, but the added florals and absence of patchouli make this a scent for all seasons and occasions. My ONLY criticism is that longevity could be better- it seems to disappear completely after 5 hours on my skin and even clothes.
As a limited edition flanker, Austral Expedition will go largely unnoticed in the fragrance community, so the fact that few people will ever encounter it makes this signature scent material for me.
It’s hard to find, so blind buy may be necessary, but if you like the notes and description, you will love this.

This is one of my most unique fragrances due to the gentiana note. You will definitely stand out with this one. It has a crisp cool coriander top note for the first half hour if you are a fan of that. I get good longevity, at least 8 hours with this one. This is a good date scent, and has the perfect projection and sillage for spring, summer, and fall in door situations. The drydown is slightly sweet for a work fragrance, but it could be done.

First initial blast you will get the coriander and vanilla but once that settles you start to smell the gentiana and the Issey dna. Totally different. Absolutely love this one.

I like this one, i regret not buying it when i
was on vacation, it smells more sweet than the
original and creamy it’s good.

This one is not bad! Sweet and woodsy!

Ok ok enough already, how many more flankers for the same damn scent can we take.. or smell. This is becoming so generic and stale overkill. Kinda sad!
