My Neroli is 9 y.o. and I don’t feel anything sharp in it. Though perfume is very intense at the same time it’s soft and creamy. Longevity is more than 12 h with a very noble sillage.
It reminds me Fath De Fath with honey plum and amber. Dry down is very similar to Amouage Ubar .

I have a half full bottle of Notre Flore Neroli and I’d like to sell it or swap it. If you live in EU and you’d like to have this discontinued fragrance, please send me a message.
EDIT (Nov 27th): I still have the bottle if someone’s interested.

Whyyy WHYYYY discontinue it? This is so much better than any other l’occitane fragrance I have ever smelled. Certainly better than the current neroli & orchidee (which they will probably discontinue in a year or two like they do with all the others). The bottle was perfect. The design, the writing, the scent!

I too am reviewing the Voyage de Mediterranee version of Neroli. It is my longest and purest love. From the instant I smelled it in the store to this exact moment, I know it is my forever signature even if it won’t last forever. I have Pravda48 to thank for my current bottle and it smells as divine as my first bottle did on the day I opened it. The warm and sensual Amber and vanilla makes this such a strong scent. The neroli makes it sparkle and keeps it fresh. I agree with Bramebelle below about the heaviness and sexiness of this juice. I agree that those two qualities are what make a holy grail for me. But unlike her, I haven’t moved on just yet! So while I’d consider this an every day, every season accessory, I am conserving mine and don’t want to waste a drop. In the warmer months, I will only wear it on nights my husband and I go out, perhaps to see a movie or just for coffee and convo in the park, for when I know we will sit side by side and he will also be infatuated with the cloud around us. Once crisp air and fall colors lead to winter snow, I might not have so much restraint, it is my grey day anti-depressant!
It seems silly to review this beauty knowing it’s hard to come by now and hits the wallet if you do find it. But, it’s like capturing a feeling and a moment in time. It has to be expressed and shared. And then maybe, just maybe, I will be able to bid a fond farewell when the well is dry…….but I’m not going to think about that yet, lol!

My review is also for the ‘Voyage en mediterranee’ version which is not listed. I have not smelt either the original Neroli (although would love to), or this ‘notre fleur’ version.
Anyway, when I came across the Neroli I have, I was smitten. It had all the heaviness and sexiness I require in a perfume, but the bright citrus of the neroli and orange blossom also gave it a lift and a joy that I hadn’t considered aiming for previously. I wore this daily for about a year, and fully intended for it to be my new signature, then I went to top-up my supplies and they’d discontinued it! What is it with me and discontinued scents?!
I subsequently bought more online, and still have half a bottle, but I decided I couldn’t keep my heart in a grave forever. I may even have moved on, and have put the bottle away for now. Still, if L’occitane ever brought it back, I might just be tempted to re-ignite my neroli love-affair.

This is a rather strange perfume. You can definitely smell the neroli, but it also gives off a sweet smell of decay. When I wore this, I visited a friend who was dog-sitting, and the dog would not stop barking at me, quite possibly because of this neroli scent. It is definitely an unusual perfume with richness and depth though, and good projection and longevity. Probably not for warmer weather.

This is one of my favorites — and I have received more compliments on this fragrance than any other — mostly by men. The best was from a man at the library, who sat next to me and said, “Wow, you smell so great — like a real woman should!” Can’t ask for much more than that.
Notre Flore Neroli was my first fragrance from L’Occitane a few years back. I went back an bought a couple while they were still in stock. L’Occitane is famous for just discontinuing great fragrances for what the company assumes is the “new” Frenchy thing to do. I did buy one on-line from either Amazon or Ebay and it wasn’t the right one — it was the Mediterranean, which was not bad, per se, but not what I was looking for.
I wish they would bring it back in the form it was. It was cheap, seductive & made an impression.

It will debut stores on 4-16-2014 and I wish I could’ve smelt the Neroli that you all have experienced.

I know that several of you love this fragrance. L’Occitane is coming out with a new fragrance called Neroli and Orchidee in the middle of the month. I have sampled it and it is gorgeous. I hope that you will like it to.

I am unsure if this is actually the version I have as mine is called “voyage en meditaranee neroli” [can’t spell French!] which is not listed, however it definitely isn’t the older “neroli” so I am a little unsure. Mine is in a red box, and the juice is a deep dark orange.
I love this perfume. The first time I smelled it in a store I was like “YES!!” it was so wonderfully familiar and cosy, yet exotic and mysterious at the same time, it was love at first sniff. Despite the high price tag I purchased on the spot and never regretted it. This is just wonderful, warm, sensuous, feminine…it makes me feel like I have been wrapped in a comforting blanket dyed in hues of reds and oranges! This is full bodied and simply gorgeous on me, I love it, my partner loves it, although I do not wear it every day I have friends and relatives who say this smells of me, that it is just right. I have smelled it on others and it does smell different on them.
To me it is not purely neroli, it is warm, woody, resinous, slightly incense smoky, soft floral, sunshine on skin…gorgeous. I can wear this day or night, any season and it makes me feel good.
It does remind me a little of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, I can see where the comparisons come from, but this is, to me, better, more rounded and does not have the bitter opening of JPGC. For me this lies somewhere near JPGC, Dune, and possibly even cerutti 1881 in that it is so warm, comforting, sensual and feminine.
So, typically, I go to restock and find it has been discontinued *sigh*.
My hunt for a replacement began and has helped fuel my perfume passion (to the dismay of my bank manager I am sure), and the closest contender for a replacement for this is Dune, which I bought relatively recently and love. My remaining bottle will be eked out for it cannot be replaced!

I had searched for years for a neroli fragrance with moderate to strong longevity and sillage. Notre Flore Neroli has both. Perhaps that is because of the benzoin and sandalwood? I was introduced to this scent by my daughter-in-law. I tried to purchase some for her as a gift but found it had been discontinued. She sent me some of hers instead.

Beauty, sweet…elegant and delicated Smells. It.s perfect elegance in a bottle. with a surprinsingly firm and unique personality, when i use it . Lasts all day on me, which is rare …

Love this one! It’s such a soft, delicate floral, just slightly sweet and powdery. This is like a soft cozy blanket.

This is now the 3rd L’Occitane EdP I have sampled and bought (for my mom). I love the brand and company ethics and I must say as an aficionado for quality frags; they do pretty amazing stuff!
This is a very rich and smooth Neroli with ample Benzoin, Sandalwood and a fruity plum note.
    Very rich, long-lasting and warm.
Great scent for winter and early spring as it will warm and lift your spirits.
Excellent projection and longevity, hence given the quality £53 is a more than good and fair price.

Opening half hour does a pretty good job of smelling like actual orange blossoms, with an assist from other white flowers.
Develops into a very sweet benzoin/vanilla, milk-pudding smell, with perhaps the tiniest hint of neroli.
I find this too sweet, like an unsophisticated dessert, and not interesting. Lacks the spicy bitter edge of neroli essential oil, which is my favourite aspect of that fragrance.

This was still available in the L’Occitane shop in Reading today, along with Jasmin, Immortel and Myrtle fornthe Notre Flore range. Quite dark and dusky but after several hours gets sweeter and more powdery. Definitely quality and interesting.

Yesterday i,ve visited L’Occitaine store and was surprised to hear that the whole Notre Flore collection is gone, discontinued.
I love Neroli very much, so now i will treasure it even more. People, go get it if it’s still available somewhere. You will not regret. Gorgeous smell and a high quality.

This fragrance is so warm! It comes with a bit of fruitness and a hint of flowers. Next, my skin make flowers go away and blend the fruity smell with benzoin and sandalwood. This arrangement composes a syrup-like smell: with a woody touch, juicy, somewhat fruity and sweet.
The sweetness is not cloying: is cozy, evoking a fireplace in a comfortable living room at the winter.
Not fresh, I need to agree.
The projection on my skin is really powerful.

very nice, exotic and satisfying, but, as with this whole range, not long lasting enough for the dosh they are asking for it..

This is a scent I will buy soon or later even if I’ll have to use in small amounts and far from my bf!
It’s absolutely delightful if you like deep intense floral with an Eastern vibe.
It’s a little bit pungent upon initial spray then it goes smoother and rounder on my skin, but never fades away! It has monster sillage and lasting power!
It really reminds me of Eastern (imagined) garden from 1001 nights!
It’s a very happy scent but not casual or sporty at all! It is very feminine with some elegance and it smells a little bit like my fave Organza.
I agree it also reminds of SL Fleurs d’Oranger, but thanks god it’s not that strong and perfume-y!
I use to spray a tiny dose from L’Occitane counter and when I go around there is always someone who comment on how good I smell and want to know the name, mainly women in shops!

I really like the beautiful Notre Flore Jasmin, and I once thought this would smell a little bit similar to that one (because the bottle is the same design), but i turned out wrong. this is a totally unique fragrance and every time i smell it, I’m always reminded of the island of Bali (Indonesia). I’ve been to Bali 7 times so far (yes, it’s such a beautiful place) and I know what actually makes me feel that way. To me, this perfume has a quite dominant incense (or incense-like) scent, which is a scent you can smell every morning in Bali. So to me this is also as beautiful as the Jasmin one, but i find this to be a unique, sexy, and seductive fragrance

Please, please, please, please, PLEASE bring back the original formulation L’occitane! The original of this scent was unique, sexy and almost had a vulgarity to it that made you feel sensual in the best way possible. This, while a lovely scent, is a pale glimmer of what was once a truly beautiful fragrance. I am hording what little I have left of the original formulation and sadly, I have very little left. I wish that L’occitane had the courage to stick with the more unique formulation they had originally crafted, than switching the formula to something that would be more marketable to the masses.

One of my faves. It’s so smokey and sweet. It reminds me of Dior Addict so much but in a more wearable version. It’s sexy and it’s bold. Don’t overapply this one because it’s really heavy and thick. It’s amazing for wintertime and men love this stuff. The drydown is great too. Very longlasting and great projection.

A spicy bitter-orange scent with lots of depth. Remarkably similar to Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique in my opinion, and the longevity is at least as good. Very nice.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

I do get the reference to JPG Classique, but only as far as that plummy, subtle lipstick note at the beginning–bold, yet without Classique’s sass.
Amazing tenacity with a rich smoothness without being too syrupy. The lychee in this is ripe, rosey and dark, not fresh and light like I was expecting, yet still beautiful and rather ample.
As Notre Flore Neroli transforms it catches a little air and starts to radiate with orange nuanced florals with rich, sweet, soft wood.
Very good sillage and longevity. A voluptuous fragrance indeed.

This fragrance is fantastic! I get a lot of compliments wearing it. It smells absolutely delicious on my skin and i enjoy a good quality of this perfume. Great job!

I made a mistake by applying this fragrance far too heavily as I made my way past the L’Occitane counter on my way to a date after a long day at University.
Despite the fact that I was shrouded in this fragrance everywhere I went, it was a pleasant scent, a somewhat sexy and confident fragrance.
I’d describe the notes as being like syrupy orange juice with thick, heady vanilla and spicy resins. It’s an exotic scent, like what I’d imagine Italy and a majority of Europe to smell like, as odd as that sounds.
Notre Flore Neroli is definitely a Winter scent, I can’t imagine it being worn in any other season. Because this fragrance isn’t on the quieter side of things like most of L’Occitane’s fragrances are, I can see why people might be deterred by it. I’m not a huge fan of L’Occitane, however the Notre Flore range has really impressed me.

Rich leathery neroli with slightly vanillic notes, powdery, almost milky. Very nice.

Elegant, oriental oil, bitter, sweet, not for very young people. Kind of sensual.

It’s a strong scent, truly oriental. Beautiful. Takes me far away, to an exotic paradise.

This one is intriguing, but I can’t remember if LÓccitane marketed this before in another package similar to dead Eau de Reines in EdP version (to die for) and Eau de 7 Fleurs.
I don’t know what’s going on at LÓccitane… They change almost all perfumes formulas, but why? Amber and Vanilla were better before for sure.
This new Neroli is also very nice anyway.
It looks thick in the glass orange bottle and beware this is strong! Apply with sense.
The first spray is like a bomb thrown on your head and nose with a messy pungent sharp edge. You need to wait and let it settle on your skin.
Then you experience a total floral experience where flowers are not used in a common modern Westner way but probably more as a traditional grand floral of good memory from South France to Middle East. This is the scent of intriguing sensual flowers, very daring, not demure, sensual but not foody sweet like so many “sensual” modern fragrances.
    Very long lasting.

    Interesting.
In the beginning it smells like Dior Addict to me: sweet vanilla and all the stuff it has.
After a few minutes is settles down and
the “dry sun-baked woody” smell appears. Yes, Cinsot!
    A beautiful scent.

It is not anything like the old neroli. There is nothing unque about this perfume. I wrote to the head office in Ireland to complain. I hope I get a reply from France at some stage.

I bought mine yesterday, with Notre Flore Myrte.
Visually, the liquid is orange dark (not light, as the photo shows – it´s more like the color shown ant the bottom of the bottle). The smell is intense, woody floral. Three hours after I sprayed it, the smell gets more woody, somehow sweet.
The lasting is very good: after four hours its still very strong.

Got a sample of this when I visited the L’Occitane store yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. This is a far cry from the usual herbal/citrus/flowers fragrances that L’Occitane creates for women.
The little sample blotter I received did not smell very good. It was a bit sharp, actually, but when I rubbed it on my skin for the true test, a beautiful, sweet cream and orange flower scent emerged. Not an orange fruit or orange candy scent, but the true bitter orange blossom scent, topped with a bit of vanilla cream. The fragrance has good longevity, as others have noted. I’ve had mixed results with other L’Occitane scents, but this scent lasted for hours. This would be an excellent choice for winter and holiday parties. Very pretty!

I tried it few weeks ago, and I have to agree with PR. Good for colder weather, hold well also on the skin. But still heavy and sweet.

Not my personal favourite from L’occitane. It is quite pronounced fragrance, sweet and on the heavier side, if you’re looking for freshess should look somewhere else, I guess. It is for wearing in colder weather and holds well,at least on the paper
