An absolutely stunning scent. Thanks to the kindness of Miguel Matos and the editor’s choice awards, I am holding a bottle of this treasure right now. Wow. Let’s just say that it in no way disappoints!
Spices, wood, ylang ylang, patchouli, and something ‘nasty’ under it all to keep the composition interesting… coriander, perhaps? I don’t smell ANY pink pepper, Thank Heaven(!). Citrus shines in the opening, and dry powdered spices, wood, and patchouli then take center stage. I swear there are more spices and notes here than those listed. It’s a beautifully rounded melange, soft and persistent after the first half hour.
Let’s just say that this will delight old fashioned fragrance lovers, shall we? FIVE stars!
