100% agree with sonjabear. 753 is a lovely dupe of Kate Walsh’s Boyfiend. I may even like it better. It’s not quite as heavy on the tropical/coconut vibe that clings to my skin with Boyfriend. I layer 753 with Leitmotiv’s 12 and, ahhh, beautiful stuff. So happy to find a replacement for the now crazy-expensive Boyfriend. Worried since Anthropologie appears to have clearanced out the entire Leitmotiv collection (at $7 a pop!) and are no longer selling it on their website. 🙁 I picked up my set of 753 + 12 for a song on eBay. All you Boyfriend-seekers out there, grab ’em while you can.

I am a long-time lurker and this is my first review. I’m not too sure of the notes listed above because the perfume I tested today in Anthropologie really smelled heavy on myrhh and somewhat vanilla, and very, very much like Boyfriend. I went long on Boyfriend just before the prices got jacked up to ridiculous levels and I passed on buying 753 because I already own something just too similar. 753 was part of the semiannual sale, so if you like this kind of perfume or have despaired of getting a dupe for Boyfriend, this is a great time to buy it. No, I don’t work for Anthropologie, or anyone, for that matter. Give it a shot and let me and others know what you think.
