Description
After collections of body and home fragrance, Rituals cosmetics from Netherlands launches their first perfumes to mark the tenth anniversary of the brand. In collaboration with world-renowned perfumers, Rituals represents eight high-quality perfumes, five for women and three for men. Female perfumes are No. 01, No. 04, No. 07, No. 09 and No. 18 and male ones are No. 06, No. 14 and No. 19. Each of them is based on two main ingredients that give it strong character. The ingredients are natural with the addition of organic alcohol.
No. 18 Sandal Wood & Wild Rose is an intense smell of roses and earthy tones of sandalwood that form a sensual, passionate and seductive aura. Francois-Raphael Balestra created a woody – spicy composition as an interesting symphony of the flowers queen and of the strong woody aroma. Notes: wild roses, pink pepper, geranium, sandalwood, cedar, pine and rosewood.
Available in simple and elegant bottle with wooden stopper as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
No. 18 Sandal Wood & Wild Rose was launched in 2010.

Amazing scent.Top note sounds like spa and the dry down is exactly like Magnifique by Lancome, and this touch of spa makes it way less melancholic than Cavallier’s masterpiece, and it gets a lot of its own charm.

The scent is deep, cold and fresh. It does not tickle your nostrils in a playful manner only to evaporate after several hours. These perfumes were simply not made to do that. The scent is dizzying at first, almost electrifying. It soon cools down and becomes a cold mist of raw sensuality.
The spellbinding note of sandalwood accentuates the dominant, dark side of femininity. And yet, there’s a shy sweetness reappearing again and again in the mists of sandalwood and pepper…

I really like it. However I find that whilst it seems ‘strong’ when first applied, the scent seems to dissipate quickly, for a perfume. It needs to be reapplied a few times during the day I’ve found. This would be my only ‘negative’ comment re. No. 18.

This is a lovely scent which smells slightly incensey to me, however – I think it’s ‘incomplete’ somehow, as though it smells more like a room fragrance than a body scent
