Gorgeous…Maybe a bit on the feminine side but perfectly balanced. I don’t really get the Violet leaf thankfully, instead its a suede-pear-powder-Magnolia-fig-geranium concoction on me. This is a great house.
Update: Just beautiful. Really special. The previous poster labeled this a winter fragrance, I see this as a blooming spring masterpiece. Ladies….sample this, its wonderful.
Update Deux: Such a great perfume. Criminally underrated. Seductive suede. Some opportunistic house is going to copy these notes and make a fortune..

One of my favorites from this extremely unique line of fragrances. It seems like a genius juxtaposition of classic perfume technique with modern sensibilities. I am a huge fan of violet leaf notes, and fortunately #12 does not disappoint in this area. Here violet leaf is beautifully accompanied by refreshingly sweet Williamine pear with subtle hints of spicy nutmeg and geranium leaf. Magnolia blossom offers soft floralcy, while powdery/resinous olibanum lends a central focus. Luscious fig, suede, and nutmeg create a grounding base, providing a beautiful counterbalance to the delicate violet leaf note. Conjures up a crisp winter morning, where the sun causes the frosted blades of grass to sparkle with light. (107)
