Opens with a very sharp lavender floral note with subtle fleeting nuances of lily of the valley and jasmine which are barely perceptible. I actually wish for less lavender and more lily and jasmine, as I believe it would have created a softer more gossamer effect in the opening. A vanillic accord develops, creating a gourmand whipped cream consistency. The pairing of vanilla and sandalwood is quite luscious and sensual. A light touch of amber helps lend a warm undercurrent throughout. Overall, very nicely executed fragrance offering from perfumer Cecile Hua. Would be great worn by a woman for “date night” during the colder months. (131)
