Description
Koto Parfums is a French brand known for their fragrances designed for children. They present the new fragrance inspired by the Japanese dolls Kimmidoll and Kimmi Junior Doll, which draw inspiration from the Japanese Kokeshi dolls from the 19th century.
In cooperation with Drom Fragrance International, Koto Parfums launches three stylish dolls: Lily, Mimi and Niki, which bear three different compositions. The fragrances will be offered in bottles of 50 ml EDT and available in sets with a matching scarf. The perfume is also delivered with decorative stickers so that girls can easily play and customize their perfume.
Niki fragrance is created by Delfine Jelk to draw attention to strawberry sorbet. This flowery-fruity-musky fragrance includes notes of pomelo, strawberry leaf, white peony, fresh raspberry, vanilla, and musk. Niki was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Delphine Jelk.

The very first time I clapped eyes on this fragrance, I HAD to get it. You see, my niece is called Nicole (Niki for short), she has a pet guinea pig called Kimmi, and her favourite colour is pink. There could not be a more perfect fragrance for her.
I then found it was unlikely I’d find the fragrance outside of Europe. Imagine my delight when I walked past the Pharmacy today, and there it was… score!
It’s actually not bad at all. I detect strong vanilla and raspberry, along with the musk, a vague green ‘tartness’ and some light floral notes. Sillage is soft and longevity around 3 hours. My niece reckons it smells like lollies, and to some extent I’d have to agree with her. A cheerful little fragrance!

I loved it! It’s slightly “cupcakey“, and sweet but tart. Raspberry smells synthetic but I like the fact you don’t miss it within the time. It lasted on my skin about 3-4 hours, then dried down to a nice fresh flowery musk.
