All I get is lemon. I wish the patchouli and velvetier scents were more profound, but I can barely notice them. How is lemon a night time scent?!

Factory Mistake:
I bought a bottle of “Day” but the they must have mixed up the bottling at the factory because what I have in my “Day” bottle is definitely “Night”!
This reminds me of a man’s cologne splash. It has that citrus/patchouli/sage/vetivert thing going on & nothing much else. I am not a fan of patchouli so this is very disappointing. I purposely avoided the “Night” version for that reason. The “Day” version would be my style. I love white flowers. There is not a flower anywhere in this “Night” version.
It is not a heavy scent & it lasts maybe 3 hours. I may wear it but I will wear it with my “Al Rehab Full” which is a beautiful jasmine – that might help perk it up & tone down the manly vibe. It’s not a bad fragrance, just not my style & NOT what was supposed to be in my bottle.
I bought this Eau de Parfum for $10 at TJMaxx which is about the right price – not worth more than that. And frankly, not worth any money since it is NOT the correct bottle/fragrance!

So I too bought this at tj maxx and I read the reviews while I was in the store but decided to judge for myself. I honestly think this is a nice fragrance. It does start out harsh but within a few minutes settles into a lemony herbal scent which I think it is supposed to come off as. I don’t think it is deep enough to be called “night” and it doesnt smell like soap or cleanser. It reminds me of the oils you smell in a spa and I put it on 3xs today and can only detect the faintest remnant of it. Not a strong fragrance but a nice one.

Currently there are only two scents in this natural perfumery line. 50% of the line, Day, is a scrubber to my nose. This one, Night, also has problems. It’s an unrefined, linear, scent with a unisex vibe to it.
Unlike the first three reviewers, I get no sense of personal body soap from Night. Not even in a health food store- they’re pushing this soap because it’s goooood for you- way.
I get syrupy patchouli and vetiver, a sharp lavender and bitter bergamot. Surprisingly, as unrelentingly dark and challenging as Night is, I still find it to be wearable if very lightly applied. As always, YMMV.

I picked this up at TJMAXX for under $20. I can’t say that I find it very enjoyable….sadly. It opens sharply, with Bergamot,Lemon and Lavender….smelling an awful lot like a natural cleaner I use in my kitchen ( which smells nice used on my counters but would be too harsh on my skin.) Once it dries down, I fail to detect much of anything other than a mellower ghost of the sharp citrus opening…which actually smells a little like a sweet and sour candy of some kind. I think the amber comes through at this point, making it a bit more enjoyable but not special enough to pick to wear over others in my collection. If it does smell like soap at all, I’d say dishsoap..the lemon scented kind…not a luxurious soap you’d use in the bath. I appreciate the thought behind this brand and the natural concept but this fragrance is not my cup of tea.

I liked Night better than Day, but still didn’t work for me. Too floral and not a modern take on it. Just not enjoyable and I agree, that it smelled a little like soap.

I love the concept of this company, however, Night just smells like soap on me. Nice, expensive soap, but soap nonetheless.
