Description
“This creation of Miller and Bertaux is a postcard sent from an island in the Mediterranean Sea where, as artists in residence, they spend several months writing, drawing and imagining new scents. It is therefore at the heart of this personal experience that they imagined this fresh and rich fragrance of hesperides that flourishes in the warm shades of yellow. Evocation of the Mediterranean light, orange fields, wild lemons gathered on the red earth, clumps of herbs cut on market stalls, New Study / postcard is a calm and peaceful perfume. Like the contemplation of the sea, the sunset, seen from the terrace of a cafe. A hippy café, of course …” – a note from the brand.
New Study (Postcard) was launched in 2017.

Postcard is a perfect combination of three summer superstars: grapefruit, slightly bitter and dry; fig, both the sappy leaf and the meaty fruity (this one, a bit less prominent); and coconut, sweet and pasty.
But I swear I smell a lot lot of mint in it, and that makes it so special to me: it’s refreshing upon first spray and lasts a couple of hours, never overwhelming and never boring.
What I can’t smell is orange and peach blossom (this one, I was so curious to try), but I’d say this fragrance is really good.

This perfume is a great refreshing combination of grapefruit, green fig (mostly leaves) and coconut (just a hint). First I smell a very cheerful mandarine-like scent which then shifts to grapefruit, a very clean citrus opening.
Then fig joins, green, milky and a bit gourmand (not fruit, but sappy leaves). Coconut smells as a smart addition to fig, if you do not know about it, you wouldn’t guess. After a while it develops into a clean fresh grapefruit–fig fragrance with fig as a main accord.
Such a nice and smart scent!
