Description

New Bond St. is the new fragrance from Bond No 9, available from mid-September 2018.

“Here at Bond No. 9, we’ve always loved the low-key, unassuming, out-of-the-way NoHo side street that’s been our headquarters and flagship since 1999. Today, this two-block cobblestoned stretch is no longer unassuming. Sure, it still exudes a vintage Downtown vibe. But dramatic changes have taken place on Bond Street. Over the past several years, it’s evolved into a zone of casually elegant fabulousness for the millennial supermodels, the iconic movie stars, the politicos and business tycoons who’ve moved into the minimalist starchitect condos now punctuating Bond Street. Not to mention the paparazzi and bloggers who follow in their wake and the savvy young shoppers frequenting the indie boutiques and A-list destination restaurants that’ve sprung up as if by magic.”

Top notes: bergamot, pepper, lily of the valley
Heart: coffee, cocoa, chestnut
Base: patchouli, sandalwood, leatherwood, vanilla

New Bond St. is available as a 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

This is definitely an acquired taste, but totally my taste. Its a more spicy and unisexy version of NY Nights, which I already liked. You get that bitter cacao powder mixed with the pepper. The nuttiness of the chestnut is a great edge. And the pepper is not crazy sharp as it can be in some mixes.
BUUUUUUUUT, my coworker HATED it. though, it smelt better on me than on her. But she did the total nose curl and angry eyes when she smelt it. Not the reaction I’m generally looking for.

Very similar to Montale Chocolate Greedy, especially if you compare the drydowns. Buy the Montale at the discounters; this Bond is criminally overpriced.

Creamy chestnut with mint……Not my choice.

Tried a few bond 9s i was never been impressed by this house to begin with, plus most of the releases are very overpriced, and this is no exception. I tried this today first impression was milky, chocolatey, foody. I didn’t detect any coffee??. A gourmand scent for sure that is leaning towards the female side. That milky vibe is very much prominent from start to finish (chestnut maybe??).
Overall nothing special in my opinion, if you want chocolate there are more better alternatives than this, reason being is the price more than 400 for this thing count me out.

Tried this one today and love it. This is very gourmand for sure. I think it is similar to Jo Malone Honey Crocus on paper but need to do a skin test. I do think the price is a little high but that is Bond. I get chestnut creamy and chocolate with a milky vibe.

Review from paper tester, not on skin. First impression: Cinnamon Toast Crunch breakfast cereal.
Very sweet and cinnamony, and doesn’t smell cheap. The chestnut note holds it together in a balanced way and I found that appealing, but this one is too young and sweet for me. Handed my paper tester to a young man standing next to me at the counter and he immediately bought it for his girlfriend, so he definitely liked it.
If you like warm, cinnamon bun style gourmands, this one is for you. I prefer mine darker and moodier.
