Hated this one at first (got it in his Kickstarter). But it’s growing on me now.
Very….soapy. To a lot of people it’ll remind you of cleaner products.
There’s more to it though. For me the trick is largely to let it get only on my skin. When it gets on my clothing it stays too much within the first phase of the perfume which is the cleaner-like scent.
Once it evolves it becomes much more woodsy and gentle.

Soft, sweet, gentle, lovely orange blossom with a warm woody heart. The Rook range is very distinctive in that each seems to be crafted for itself as something that stands on its own and bears little or no resemblance to the others; all I have tried so far are unique.
This one blossoms in the sun and I would recommend for hot weather(and general wafting around!)

right, am not much into floral soliflors or florals per se. Apart from personal taste, it is usually the fact that they tend to turn soapy or indolic on my skin (jasmine and neroli sadly).
While I have not much success with jasmine, looks like the neroli in this one has come through and stayed floral.
It smells pretty, romantic and innocent, associated with summer days in a white linen dress.

Gave this an initial run on a spill, loved it. It put me in mind of the old Coty Sweet Earth floral solids, so I basically fell in love at first whiff. Fast forward a week. Freshly bathed, settled in my bed with a good book, I fancy a blast of floral beauty, so out comes the sample of Rook Neroli, applied liberally. Within five minutes I was back in the shower. My skin hates it. Despite never actually ingesting the stuff, wherever the perfume touched began to reek of asafoetida, that pungent Indian onion substitute beloved of Hindus and Hare Krishnas, which stirs the “wind” and stinks to high heaven. I am now very sad. I need this floral in my life, but without the hing powder smell. I am also paranoid that I exude the scent of rotten onions at bedtime. *sorrowful*.

I’ve recently tried samples of this whole range and I must say, I was very impressed. Neroli is not just neroli, but also has one of my favourite notes- narcissus. It’s Springlike, fresh and uplifting but has a serious woody drydown. Absolutely gorgeous and great longevity.

If only this lasted longer on me.
It’s not at all the sweet floral scent of Neroli I was expecting – the woods and muscs are big players too.
A woody, musky very fresh Neroli that isn’t too sweet – fabulous!
A really interesting summer scent. I’ll keep it in my handbag.

This is lovely. Surprisingly complex. The first impression I got was a lovely, deep woodiness but then it settles down into a fruity, greeny hit of neroli. It’s like sunshine with a little undertow of sadness. Beautiful.

This a real fresh floral beauty. I think narcotic is a good word to use about it. The narcissus, orange blossom and neroli go so well together. They really sparkle together. It is a real shame that shimmer doesn’t last longer.
The lovely trio wain too quickly for me and then the vetiver and wood note really takes over. It becomes quite soft quite quickly. Soft neroli and wood.
A lovely fresh floral scent for warm weather wear. It’s definitely unisex.
