Nero starts with soft and beautiful liquorice with some vanilla creeping up and growing ever stronger as time goes on. Later comes some benzoin adding some different angle to vanilla and basil to get little green tinge to the whole vanilla-liquorice heaven. In middle of the scent there is this fresh and light spiciness and the sweetness has toned down a bit. I wonder where the slight anise like smell comes, dill seeds or is it really just liquorice? Non-the-less this lightly spicy vanilla-liquorice fragrance with hint of greenness is fantastic! Drydown has the liquorice sadly diminish greatly leaving soft vanilla with just a hint of the spice and greenness.
I really hoped that such a beautiful fragrance would have good sillage and it actually has as is the longevity, what is this madness? As for versatility I think it has loads of it, unisex easily and spring/autumn are preferred seasons I guess, but summer and winter works if not used in the extreme ends of the weather. Really easy so wear and it does bring a smile to my face; which is the hardest test for any fragrance and Nero passes it with flying colours.

Really nice!
This perfume is very special, it is not common fragrance that everyone wears everywhere.
The initial spray is licorice bomb but after half an hour and you’ve got yourself something special heavenly lemony vanilla gourmand.
The drydown is incredibly aromatic, seductive and creamy.
Unisex, certainly!
This sfuff is absolutely signature scent worthy!
If you like natural licorice then you definitely will love this well blended unique frag.
Smell: 9/10

This is a very soothing green scent, not sharp at all. All notes are smoothly blended together into a beautiful and relaxing aroma.
Watercress and basil notes make this scent different and unique. Licorice is very noticeable after a few minutes, but it’s so nicely done, and is the most elegant interpretation of it I’ve ever smelt.
