First impressions-spice and lavender. Slightly bitter, no fruit or sweetness at all on me. I dislike tuberose and in this, the tuberose is strong and rather overwhelming. After the first 30 minutes this turns medicinal and oily, almost rancid. Not for me I’m afraid.

The passion I have for this scent is nothing short of true love! I’ve been wearing April Aromatics for a long time, and when I first tried Nectar of Love, it wasn’t my favorite, even though it was one of their most popular. I gave it some time and came back to it (maybe I matured?). Now I can’t imagine what I was thinking! It’s an emotional scent – it moves me, stirs up memories, makes me feel bold and adventurous. And it’s so different on the people I have try it (smelled totally different on my mom than on me). It’s definitely sweet and floral, but it doesn’t lack depth. At the end of the day when it fades on my skin, I think of the sweet smell of My Little Pony toys…and makes me nostalgic for childhood (I’m 30). But that’s just my association. I save this one for special occasions, or when I need a pick-me-up. It’s like candy to me – I’m completely addicted.

This perfume is just fantastic!
Tuberose and jasmine is usually a no-no for my skin they usually turn stale and rancid.
Not this time!
This is how I expected these lovely flowers to work on me and the sandalwood is providing a perfect support! There is some fruity accords going on in the background, which give a nice round shape to it. It is on the sweet side but not cloying at all.
It makes me feel very feminine and pretty, smells rich and classy. And it is organic too. What else would a girl want? 🙂
Thanks for the chance to try this, Tanja!
P.S. wearing it for a good 4.5 hours now and still there
